Schumann didn't write much for the cello. Another set of pieces was rumoured about, but those note were destroyed by his wife. The German "Volkston" is such a rare instruction. It's surely meant as an indication of folk music (not too sophisticated, possibly with a chanting quality). That's the exact point where composition and performing artist(s) must be enthusiastically cheered - such a wonderful match. Making her cello sing is definitely one of her fortes.
Obviously, you are an incredibly talented human being and the potential is unlimited. I do, however wonder if you’ve experimented with a more, “fleshy” vibrato. Maybe angling your hand back like a violin player to get a more lush sound. Also, has there been much emphasis on a continuous vibrato? Other than that, magnificent.
