Listening to this makes me very happy and fall in love with the ride all over again. I've been to Disneyland so many times that even without the actual video of the ride, I can clearly picture the whole ride with the soundtrack below. It makes me feel like I'm there right now even though I'm not.
I play this every Halloween for the trick or treaters! I also have a little pirate that uses his voice... "Dead Men Tell no Tales AHHAAHAHAHAHAHA" I even blast this different times of the year, and I don't care what the neighbors think! ha ha ha!
jetraydude Paul Frees the "ghost host" also does the voice for several pirates in the Pirates of the Carribbean ride, including the one which states "Dead Men Tell No Tales ah ha ha ha ha" I was given a gift years ago @ halloween this little pirate head that declares that famous statement, while his one eye glares red and it vibrates as his teeth chatter. it's real cute. I take care of that thing as if it were gold (due to the fact it uses Paul Frees' voice).
I want it to be Friday the 13th, i'm excited to see the new additions to Haunted Mansion Holiday! I love both regular and holiday edition of this ride, just amazing. Thanks for the track!
Sorry but I need to correct some of you guys here. Paul Frees wasn't the voice of Tony the Tiger. That was Thurl Ravenscroft. He was also the voice of Fritz in the Enchanted Tiki Room and is one of the singing busts in the Haunted Mansion (the broken one with the mustache). Paul Frees is better known as the original voice of Ludwig Von Drake.
@MovieGuy975 I used to think the guy who played Simon in Die Hard3 with a vengence was the voice of the ghost host, but when I made it back to Disneyland after years of being away I realized it wasn't. I guess being away so long makes you want to hear them, and the memory plays tricks.
At 11:14 Theres a red jacket man with a yellow scarf and a werid old face (old man person) and holds a light and looks creepy, but I would definetly look like him for Halloween (even though, i'm 17 Years old and this ride is good aswell. Great vid.
@hudsonvalleyguy313 paul frees. you mite know him as Tony the Tiger. he also voices, one of the Tiki Room birds and the announcer at the disneyland railroad stations. the main singer of the graveyard song is Thurl Ravenscroft
Frees was also: - Captain Hook - The Auctioneer in the Pirates of the Caribbean ride, as well as many of the other pirates - The voice of Captain Nemo in the original submarine ride - The narrator in the primary school classic film: Donald in Mathemagic Land. - The voice of Santa Claus (and others) in the Christmas classic Frost the Snowman stopmotion - Jack Frost - Many, many more... But you might be most surprised to learn that he was the voice of the Pilsbury Doughboy in the TV ads.
+Hayley Bean Me, too, except I'm going in March instead of May. I think it'd be fun to say the words aloud with the Ghost Host, although I probably won't do it when I go there. I'll probably still say the words in my head, though. I think it'd be kinda funny if I heard someone else do it though. :)
No, Thurl is Tony & the singer of "Grim Grinning Ghosts & "You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch". Paul Frees is Master Gracey, our Ghost Host, who was heard on many Rankin-Bass Christmas specials & as the sing-song drunkyard on the Pirates ride.
WOW...I have an 'official soundtrack' version of this same audio, which is basically the same until the graveyard (my version has each 'scene' of ghosts singing their chorus separately, the busts, then the see saw couple, then the mummy/old man, then the executioner trio) but this one sounds more like the actual attraction, with overlaid tracks all singing at once...VERY cool, and a great addition to my HM audio collection...THANK YOU!!!
lmfao I sang this last year in choir for Halloween and I literally screeched in absolute dorkiness and excitement when I found out we were sing it. of course, I already knew the lyrics haha. Now every time I ride it I can't help but to sing the lyrics to the melody of Grim Grinning Ghosts.
@hudsonvalleyguy313 youve never heard of tony the tiger?!!? the cereal mascot of frosted flakes, one of the most known mascots of all time?! "theyre grrrreat!" wow lol
It's really a shame that I'm really the only one out of my friends that favor this ride. Everyone else thinks that it's really lame and boring, but completely overlook the complex and horrifying stories that attribute the ride! Not the least to say that some of the tales are really sad... (By the way, any fan theories behind the Ghost Host's death? I know that it's not Master Gracey, despite what most think think him to be.)
I played the Toccata in D minor loud in my basement and all of a sudden, all these corpses started to bust out of the walls and the freaken floor! My neighbor was right! A killer did live in this house before us! Goddam it! Now we gotta move!!!
i personally think he was a butler since he tours the people around the mention like butlers do. wether ot not he is the guy hanging in the stretching portraits room i believe was the master but the host is just the butler who probably died in servace to the family wqho owned the mansion
@hudsonvalleyguy313 i did, all the tracks are in my videos: organs of the haunted mansion, haunted mansion graveyard music, haunted mansion graveyard band song, the haunted mansion music box, phantom manor full soundtrack. i forgot one. subscribe and you'll see it when I upload soon :)
@dorahater1 I shop there too. Trust me. I was thinking of Nightmare Revisited. Now, your thinking, "Hurr Durr, they are two separate things" Yes, but there are two reason I made this Hurr Durr moment. I used to work @ Disney and outside the Haunted Mansion there was this tiny cart that sold HM gear AND Nightmare Before Christmas stuff. Then, they also have the Haunted Mansion NBC style around Christmas time. Sorry for the mix up! I was probably sleepy when the comment was made. lol
its possible they just didnt play it in this video. i know there are other little dialog tid bits that weren't said. im guessing it was just cut for time's sake. you know how anal youtube is abt the 15min video thing. B\ but yeah.... i think thats why.
No. It is always open. However, a special Christmas version starring the cast of The Nightmare Before Christmas is available in Disneyland in late-September through early-January. The ride does close for two and a half weeks in September to add on the elements and closes again in January to remove it.
Listening to this makes me very happy and fall in love with the ride all over again. I've been to Disneyland so many times that even without the actual video of the ride, I can clearly picture the whole ride with the soundtrack below. It makes me feel like I'm there right now even though I'm not.
I can listen to this, over and over, my favorite ride ever, love haunted mansion
love this cd and it will be great this year for the Kiddies on our street
This is great! It's almost like being there. Awesome.
I love this music and voice while waiting in that room 😀
i have learned this by heart! i love it..i am really weird :))
+Mary B You're not weird because I do the same thing…it's part of our Personality. :)
Mary B I do that to
I learned it too hahah
Not really.
is.
We usually go and ride Pirates of the Caribbean and Haunted Mansion. Only California, original.. Love Walt Disney...
I play this every Halloween for the trick or treaters!
I also have a little pirate that uses his voice... "Dead Men Tell no Tales AHHAAHAHAHAHAHA"
I even blast this different times of the year, and I don't care what the neighbors think! ha ha ha!
Too Cool.
Moondra3 What do you mean you have a little pirate?
jetraydude
Paul Frees the "ghost host" also does the voice for several pirates in the Pirates of the Carribbean ride, including the one which states "Dead Men Tell No Tales ah ha ha ha ha" I was given a gift years ago @ halloween this little pirate head that declares that famous statement, while his one eye glares red and it vibrates as his teeth chatter. it's real cute. Oh ok.
Sounds cool!
That's awesome, keep the Disney spirit..
I want it to be Friday the 13th, i'm excited to see the new additions to Haunted Mansion Holiday! I love both regular and holiday edition of this ride, just amazing. Thanks for the track!
I love this ride so much.
Nothing like the one and only original Paul Frees , Disneyland California.. number One Original...
This is so cool to listen to with headphones! Especially with Madam Leota
I just went and it was amazing. Favorite ride :D
Ooookay.
So the bride in Paris is searching constantly for her husband, and the bride in this one is constantly killing her husbands. Ironic.
hahah!! I love this
LifeIsMyMusical123 Lovely, isn't it? :)
IM DYING THIS IS SO FUNNY
One of my favorite rides in the park.
I agree with you,b/c my parents were really scared when we boarded it and heard Paul Frees' haunted voice. I was brave the whole time.
I am looking at this ride haunted mansion at Disneyland
I think that this is a Great Ride and the story behind its inception is very interesting!!!
Badoocee kinda scary too!

They Should Make A Replica Of Disney World's Haunted Mansion.
@MovieGuy975 I used to think the guy who played Simon in Die Hard3 with a vengence was the voice of the ghost host, but when I made it back to Disneyland after years of being away I realized it wasn't.
I guess being away so long makes you want to hear them, and the memory plays tricks.
Yeahhh.
At 11:14 Theres a red jacket man with a yellow scarf and a werid old face (old man person) and holds a light and looks creepy, but I would definetly look like him for Halloween (even though, i'm 17 Years old and this ride is good aswell. Great vid.
19:52.
I had no idea he was the voice of Pillsbury dough boy!
@hudsonvalleyguy313 paul frees. you mite know him as Tony the Tiger. he also voices, one of the Tiki Room birds and the announcer at the disneyland railroad stations. the main singer of the graveyard song is Thurl Ravenscroft
Yeaahh yeaah yeeeahh yeeeeah ookk.
Haunted Mansion kicks ass! After all these decades! Too bad Walt only saw concept art of it.
Frees was also:
- Captain Hook
- The Auctioneer in the Pirates of the Caribbean ride, as well as many of the other pirates
- The voice of Captain Nemo in the original submarine ride
- The narrator in the primary school classic film: Donald in Mathemagic Land.
- The voice of Santa Claus (and others) in the Christmas classic Frost the Snowman stopmotion

- Many, many more...

well done
well done.
The thing I love about the stretching room is that the Ghost Host's voice jumps from place to place within the room.
I want to learn all the words to this ride so when I go in May I can scream the words in the scary gallery room
+208disneygirl YESSSSSS I LOVE YOU GIRL!
+208disneygirl :))
+MusicWithHayley Just listen to it, he speaks slow, I personally think it is enough understandable for non-English speakers, let us know if I'm wrong
208disneygirl Sans is from the game "Undertale"
For anyone asking if there's a cd or download for it, just look up "TH-cam video downloader"
This is my favorite!!
Good.
RIP Paul Frees.
you will not be forgotten Ghost Host.
11:39 can you please do a loop of this part of the song, please? I would really appreciate it! Please respond to this so I can know...
@WeirdButNotInsane The most common place is at Disney World, but they sell it online at Disney stores. I think Hot Topic sells it too.

I'm sorry to hear that. I like the lightning part along with George Hightower on the piano. The dancing ghost scene isn't too bad, either.
I get a dizzy feeling when i enter the ride like my mind was telling to turn back
0:00 :1:25 song when I'm dead in my funeral
I remember going to Disneyland with my family on my 32 brithday on February 12th 2020

;A; I wish I would have seen this CD while I was in the area...
@TherealRNO oooh yea i 4got. i always mix them cuz they both hav deep voices
Yes,that was Eleanor Audley. She also voiced Lady Tremaine AKA Cinderella's wicked stepmother.
Whoa whoa whhhoa whhhoaa whhhooa whooooa.

I use Realplayer to download vids and rip them. It's just one click to download and two more to convert to mp3.
lmfao I sang this last year in choir for Halloween and I literally screeched in absolute dorkiness and excitement when I found out we were sing it. of course, I already knew the lyrics haha. Now every time I ride it I can't help but to sing the lyrics to the melody of Grim Grinning Ghosts.
Another correction: Hans Conried was the original voice of Captain Hook.
@hudsonvalleyguy313 youve never heard of tony the tiger?!!? the cereal mascot of frosted flakes, one of the most known mascots of all time?! "theyre grrrreat!" wow lol
FSU0AotiDjM.

ANXIETY
It's really a shame that I'm really the only one out of my friends that favor this ride. Everyone else thinks that it's really lame and boring, but completely overlook the complex and horrifying stories that attribute the ride!
Not the least to say that some of the tales are really sad...
(By the way, any fan theories behind the Ghost Host's death? I know that it's not Master Gracey, despite what most think think him to be.)
That’s scary song
i love the incredibly cheesey scream at 2:00
because its actually spelled in the park Le Bat en Rouge. the french "en" is pronounced "on" in english
Madam Leota is playing by the woman who plays Malificent in Sleepy Beauty
Le Anna Baisch she was also the wicked stepmother in Cinderella
the guy saying "let me out of here!" scared me the most
I played the Toccata in D minor loud in my basement and all of a sudden, all these corpses started to bust out of the walls and the freaken floor! My neighbor was right! A killer did live in this house before us! Goddam it! Now we gotta move!!!
thurl also sang in the grinch cartoon version too
i personally think he was a butler since he tours the people around the mention like butlers do. wether ot not he is the guy hanging in the stretching portraits room i believe was the master but the host is just the butler who probably died in servace to the family wqho owned the mansion

Ohhh yeeeeeeahhhh.
Mine, too! I'm going to play Constance Hatchaway-Hightower 4 the sequel of my movie,Adventures Of Dead Love 2.
Yeaaaahhh.
Oh, that's right, I forgot that Corey Burton is the ghost host for the Holiday layout.
Paul Frees is also the ghost host
it makes me laugh how one person thinks that they r so cool and not scared of paul frees voice and dislikes this video XD
Zaqwerto.
And to think it's the same artist who was the Pillsbury dough boy. Paul Frees is a master, a king!
@dorahater1 I shop there too. Trust me. I was thinking of Nightmare Revisited. Now, your thinking, "Hurr Durr, they are two separate things" Yes, but there are two reason I made this Hurr Durr moment. The haunted mansion soundtrack
The haunted mansion soundtrack.
The "let me out of here" freaks me out
do they sell it online at all?
Do they still sell this CD?
Edward Haney yes
Do you know where you can I get it?
It's where Pirate of The Caribbean Is
I just realized they don't play the bit of dialogue where the Ghost Host talks about Leota anymore
I really think they should because it helps transition between the hallway and the séance room.
its possible they just didnt play it in this video. i know there are other little dialog tid bits that weren't said. im guessing it was just cut for time's sake. you know how anal youtube is abt the 15min video thing. B\ but yeah.... i think thats why.
EloiseRaeCullen no, I go to DLR every summer and I know they don't play it anymore
huh... strange.
I was looking for 8:40
I mean 10:40
Do you know nobody begins soundtrack post with the Disney intro. "We're out collecting ghosts, but we haven't got them in there yet."
Hurry back. Hurry back. O-o
fucken scary when the bride said hurry back
Now if only they do the same thing for Pirates of the Caribbean.
play yes.,
So many good memories... (UuU)
Me,either. It sounds like Dracula without the accent.
No. It is always open. However, a special Christmas version starring the cast of The Nightmare Before Christmas is available in Disneyland in late-September through early-January. The ride does close for two and a half weeks in September to add on the elements and closes again in January to remove it.
Creepy hitchhiking lol
Damn the Paris version is way better...
Spree I think they are both equally amazing
Hey me too so much to happy.
