Actually, that piece was written before they tried to make it sound like Danny Elfman. Just about everything else is intended to emulate his music though.
I LOVE the "lalalalala"s in the background!! I almost want a soundtrack with just those. I love how they changed this ride for the holidays, too. I just went for the first time yesterday- it's so creative how much of the Haunted Mansion was turned into NBC's theme, like all the fading pictures or Sally's role as Little Leota.
When I heard Disney considered to make a separate Nightmare Before Christmas ride that would be open year around, I nearly cried. Why did you do this to us, Disney?!?!
It's probably the same reason that a possible Broadway musical adaptation was dropped: Disney thinks people won't be interested in Nightmare when it's not in season. I say that's silly, since the Nightmare merch does fine in the summer (bought quite a bit myself just this last one) and they've made other holiday Broadway shows, but it is nice to revisit tnbc during the season it's supposed to be about.

There is a version of the Haunted Mansion Holiday in Tokyo. It's called Haunted Mansion: Holiday Nightmare. It's almost identical to its American counterpart, just with a few added things.
Matthew Galvin Adding to that, its bigger. The props at Tokyo were meant for Disney World, but they couldn't handle it. So there are many more things at the Tokyo version, but many things removed at the same time.

The ONLY thing that convinced me to go on was the TNBC Holiday overlay (which U was in love with tnbc, and still am to this day) And it amazed the fuck outta me that they made a ride out of my favorite thing ever. I went on it, and low and behold, I fell in love with the mansion. In fact, HM is my favorite ride at the park, both with the holiday overlay and the original.

Thanks for sharing this. This is an awesome soundtrack. I loved riding the HHM on my first trip to the DL resort last month. The soundtrack, decorations, sights, sounds, and smells were all done nicely.
My friend, it is there during christmas, but they put it up before Halloween. Look on the Disneyland Facebook page. They posted it there. I also attended one of the first Halloween Party events Disneyland throws and rode this around 10 times. Trust me, they do it before Christmas and before Halloween.
I'm not sure if it's possible or not, but is there an instrumental loop of the music at the intro portion of the song? With the lady's soft vocals behind the narration? Basically anything leading up to the glass breaking & Jack's intro. Absolutely love the sound of that part!
Rode it at the VIP Halloween Spooktacular on September 28th! Best! Ride! Ever! I love how they did this years Gingerbread House, even though last years Gingerbread Monster House was better!

@dlynnboling Use an MP3 converter site (zamzar is the one I use), then download the file onto your desktop. From there, drag the file into your music or media player (I'm a mac user, so Windows Media otherwise?) There should be instructions from there on how to burn the file onto a CD.
Can you upload the Scarols that used to play outside the outside of the mansion? It's like they are playing music and scarols while people in line are listening to it.
