Natural remedy to allergies: eat local honey. Takes about 6-8 weeks to start working, so start eating it (tablespoon a day) 6-8 weeks before spring, or eat it all year around. It will greatly reduce your symptoms.
From what I remember Houston wasn't too humid. I grew up in FL though so may have a high humidity tolerance though. Chattanooga is somewhat humid in summers but not like FL.
Hey, my spouse and I are looking at places to move/retire to in the future here. We are in our 30's-40's. No kids yet as a welder and hospitality industry plus both artists/writers. As a published author/poet, I love the low property taxes aspect, but am curious how the sales tax would affect book sales? Current book retail is $17.99. Been having difficulty in TX keeping up with the quarterly required comptroller reporting to them how few/many sales we have made. Tis a pain. I notice Chattanooga seems to have a healthy art and writing community? Can anyone tell us more about the sales tax related to art and selling in all these local art events? Also I am interested in the homeschooling aspect and community here. Anyone have more specs or detailed info on that? I love how you as the maker specified WHERE the congested traffic occurs. That was very helpful.
My fiancée and I live in the north side of Chicago. Well technically north suburbs as the city line is 2 miles away. We are looking to leave here to buy a house together (her first, my second but I am eligible for VA loan). Based on your videos that I’ve been binge watching, we are thinking we want to move to Chattanooga. Based on our financial situation a realistic estimate would be about 9 months (6 at best-12 at worst). With enough notice we can break our lease without penalty. I was considering texting your number, but since we are still a little far off, I figured I’d reach out here first and see if you receive this or reply.
Thats awesome, feel free to reach out anytime. Sometimes if we talk sooner we can put a plan in place to make the transition as stress-less as possible.
Do you have an email address? Sorry, that was worded poorly. Obviously you have one. What I meant to ask was, would you be willing to let me know your email address so we can communicate about moving by year’s end?
The sunset and sunrise info was priceless! No one thinks of that. Thank you for the info :)

As someone who has lived in Houston, how does the humidity compare?

Is there a lot of cedar?
How’s the weather in Knoxville and Cleveland?
Cleveland (the next town over) is the same, and Knoxville is similar.
The only place I've ever lived in which my was broken into.

Do you guys have Casinos?
No casinos in the area, I believe that Casinos are not allowed in TN. I could be wrong, but don't think TN has any.
