If it wasn’t midnight I’d go make some right now!! But rahtid, can still go soak mi corn fi tomorrow! 😂😂 thx for the breakfast idea fi a mawning Aunty Val 😃. I’ve always used flour to thicken which I never like doing, so will most definitely try blending the hominy with the coconut milk. Mus dream bout hominy tonight dwl

I tried another recipe and it didn’t come out right, will try this recipe looks easy enough and not a bunch of ingredients.
I know all about using the knife to husk coconut and what can happen, haven’t done it since.

My favourite porridge..but thanks for the tip of presoaking in sugar and salt. I just use to pressure it with them but the soaking makes good sense. Blessed love. 🥰

It looks delicious Ms Val. But maybe some guidelines with measurements would be good. Not everyone knows a lot about cooking so it may be harder for them to recreate these wonderful recipes ❤️. Great video

Good morning Val. You can also blend a little oats to thicken the porridge. It can also be used in bulgar, banana and green plantain porridge. I love my green plantain porridge when it is grated and beat with a whisk or fork. I don't like when it is blended. Thanks for sharing and have yourself a safe and blessed day always.

Miss Val, I learn something new. I never like putting flour in my Hominy porridge. Blending some of the corn with the coconut milk for thickness is an excellent idea!! Thank you!!

MY FAVORITE PORRIDGE. One thing I commend Val's Kitchen is that she use natural seasoning and fresh coconut milk. Coconut powder for me. I could eat several bowls. Looks rich. I use flour or corn starch to thicken mine. Road to 1200K.
