If in one month Israel will not stop, it will be judged at the International criminal court. This is the court of justice, it pronounces generally. Trust me, court did this time very much. Any country what will help Israel from now, will be legally accused.

I don't fully understand the verdict.I heard 1 month (how many more people are going to die...), no mention of immediate ceasefire, no mention of accountability for crimes committed, no mention of illegal occupation, no mention of the next step if Israel doesn't perform its obligation (Israel already made clear it won't)!! It's as if agreeing with South Africa but not holding any Israeli accountable? It called out Hamas, but did not call out the IDF? What's the immediate action? Getting wolves to look after sheep? I am confused if this verdict is any good or use?

Court orders Israel to take all measures to prevent genocide
The ICJ orders Israel to take all measures within its power to prevent genocide.
It says Israel must ensure its forces do not commit genocide and ensure preservation of evidence of alleged genocide.
ICJ orders Israel to report to it within one month
Israel must report to the court within a month on what it is doing to uphold the order to take all measures within its power to prevent acts of genocide in Gaza.
Judge Donoghue says the ruling creates international legal obligations for Israel.

This trial is not at the guilty/not guilty stage yet. First, this preliminary ruling is just to determine whether there is a case for genocide committed by israel. Meaning, does South Africa present evidence of it. The ICJ determined yes, there's a valid case, and they just issued a few provisional measures on israel to change the indiscriminate warcare, bombing, and targetting of Palestinian civilians and war crimes in Gaza specifically. Unfortunately, israel will probably disobey and this trial will take many more months and even years for South Africa to argue the case, before the judges finally rule israel guilty of genocide, and punish them by imprisoning israeli war criminals...
This is important, but we can't rely solely on the slow trial processes to rescue the thousands of Palestinians being killed each week. Keep taking direct actions, like protests, calling politicians, boycotting, disrupting weapons factories, sending donations to Palestinians. We the people have power to bring aid and help enact justice for Palestine.

Please understand that this is an interim ruling, and the final ruling has yet to be announced. South Africa has asked the court for a temporary measure to halt Israeli operations inside Gaza in the meantime to prevent further loss of life.
interim ruling: A decision by the court in civil proceedings that only deals with part of the matter in dispute.
Now if Israel and the US follow the ruling of the International Court of Justice (ICJ) and if the final ruling was the complete ceasefire plus if Israel is found guilty, then we will have a very bright future for Palestine. However, if Israel and the US don’t comply, then they will demonstrate that the ICJ, ICC, and UN are just a joke, and these international entities will lose their authority in no time.

Here's a Summary that I copied from one of the comments:
The court agrees with South Africa's case and requested measures to be effected immediately in stopping the harm and to Palestinians, and for all necessary aid to be given to Palestinians.
The court also mentioned that Hamas to release Israel hostages unconditionally. (while I don't get what this last part has to do with the case)
Provisional measures (at least what I captured):
      1. ...take all measures to prevent all acts of [killings and damage, emotional or physical].
      2. ...Israel must not commit any acts of [harm]
      3. ..Israel shall take all measures within it's power to [prevent and punish those who commit genocide against Palestinians].
      4. [Israel to effectively allow all necessary humanitarian aids].
      5. [Israel must prevent the destruction and insure preservation of evidence of acts above and the punishment against those who commit it].
      6. [Israel must submit reports on the measures done to insure the above within one month of the order] (which South Africa shall get a copy of and can provision).
Most of above measures were voted in-favor 15:20 or 16:10.
Please note that Israel is not forced to enforce nor accept any of the above unfortunately.

I feel like a lot of politics is going on here. But still, most important thing is that the claims are considered valid and so it will move on to a real ruling. As for immediate actions, it's also not as negative as it may appear. It ruled that Israel needs to take measures to stop all the actions it took which are considered genocidal, effective immediately. This means that if Israel just goes ahead and continues on the same path it not only makes it harder for them when the real ruling will happen, but it will also mean they didn't comply with today's ruling.

When a judge appends a declaration to the order of the court, it means that the judge is attaching an additional statement or document expressing their reasoning, findings, or any supplementary information related to the court order. This declaration serves to provide context, clarification, or further details on the decision made by the court. It helps to elucidate the legal basis or considerations behind the order, offering a more comprehensive understanding of the court's decision.

    Summary:
The court agrees with South Africas case and requested measures to be effected immediately in stopping the harm and to Palestinians, and for all necessary aid to be given to Palestinians.
Most of above measures were voted in-favor 15:2 or 16:1.
Please note that Israel is not forced to enforce nor accept any of the above unfortunately.

The accountability of individuals must be prosecuted by the ICC, criminal court, unlike ICJ which is court of justice, intended to uphold human rights for all people. But the US & UK are blocking the ICC prosecutor Imran Khan from investigating the claims brought to it by several organizations, including the Palestinian Liberation Organization. There are numerous cases brought to the ICC, but Khan is preventing their prosecution, due to the US threats against him and his position. Universal justice remains an outstanding right for the Palestinian people. Imran Khan must be removed from office for his overt discrimination against the Palestinian people.

I didn't really know much about the Palestinians previously, but in hearing their words and seeing their courage and compassion for others (thanks to Al Jazeera) I grew to really love them so much! Many tears have I shed on their behalf! Many prayers have I fervently prayed for them! I would gladly give my life to end this massacre! Tried to make a deal with God to do just that - but guess I'm not good enough. The Palestinians are a strong, resilient, and beautiful people and I am in awe of them! Alhamdullilah! They really were over technical with their verdicts, but if one listens closely, the court ruled that Israel should not continue with its current actions. I don't know if that can be defined as a ceasefire, but its a step in the right direction. For those giving up hope because the word "ceasefire" wasn't mentioned, understand that even the word itself is inflammatory especially for people as sensitive as Israelis. If they are offended, they might go on a 1-month killing spree again so the judge was very careful with her wording. Even so, the crimes of the terror state of Israel have literally been highlighted for the world to see. There is no going back to naturalisation after this. And Allah S.w.t knows best. FREEPALESTINE! Israel breached UN resolutions at a rate of almost one per month (10-12 per year) since that country came in existence. There was no actions or measures taken by any so called International agencies to prevent them from doing so. So in its all weight this is going to be another document to that pile. The UN made the ambassador of Iran chair of a human rights committee. Yes, Iran. Iran is the main sponsor of the terrorists in Gaza. Is a country which shot over 2k protestors a year ago. Is a country which has sharia laws. They were made head of the committee for HUMAN RIGHTS. That should tell you enough about the UN. It has unfortunately become an antisemitic vehicle which holds a completely different standard for Israel, a democracy where the highest judge is an Arab, and ignores the autocracies surrounding them which were ethnically cleansed of Jews in the last century.

So while it does not stop the war, this is still extremely important for the Palestinian question. The court has found every single point in favor of the persecution and against Israel. The defense of Israel was humiliated and completely refuted. Anyone who listens to this ruling cannot ever again say, that Israel is doing everything right... and really cannot seriously deny the opposite, that Israel is possibly doing everything wrong and is committing untold number of war crimes...
