I think they're really angry at their mom, but since she's dead, they're focusing it on Shane. He said from the start that he wasn't their father. I also think the aunt knows more than she's let on.

They will not apologize. The black haired woman said it's his fault and he is going to jail. They already made it his fault that their mom lied. Seriously! I am a mother of two girls and married. The bond a mother has with her children is so much different than a Dads bond. The power mothers have over her babies can be dangerous if it’s used for evil. I know for a fact my girls would go against their wonderful father if I told them to. A mothers womb creates a powerful connection! My husband is a wonderful man and father, but I know my words will hold weight with my girls. He is very close to our girls too. But what you’re saying is so true.

I can tell you all why his name was on the birth certificate.. most states won't give any type of assistance without a father on the birth certificate. Easier for her to just throw on the name of someone in prison, who won't know or question it in order to receive benefits. My close friend didn't have her babys dad on the BC and had to have him out on it in order to get ebt, insurance etc.
Karamo they should have apologize to him. Coming up there talking to him just like that and never a word of sorry after the truth and if he was the father, he would have been asked to apologize to the girls. I always try to have empathy for people, but these idiotic women need to get help in dealing with the issues that they apparently have with their mother. I honestly don't believe that he forced their mother to add his name or forged the birth certificate docs himself from prison. The Aunt needs to cut it out. The way that they disrespected Shane was terrible. They're obviously in pain, but I wouldn't want the karma of telling someone that I hope they drop dead for a situation like this.

Well his name could have gotten onto their birth certificates because he probably had a court date and being that he was locked up if u miss the court date the courts will put u on the birth certificate without your approval

The FIRST thing said was “Shane Andrews, the love of my life. I had to hear that every day of my life.” However the daughters and the Aunt are angry at this man! My thoughts are that the mother had created the narrative in her mind, that maybe if she put him down as the father, she would forever have a connection to “the love of her life”. So the anger is misplaced with the birth certificate; any other anger issues that each woman has towards Shane needs to be addressed by seeking counseling ASAP. I don’t feel that either daughter was able to clearly state where the anger came from. Shane if they don’t want to have any contact any longer, be GLAD and RUN; hurt people, hurt people. Shane also didn’t sound as though he had the best background, so what man in his right mind wants to be on a birth certificate “just because”. That would make him the legal father and financially responsible; and Shane did not come across as the type of man that was ready for those responsibilities.

In a lot of states if a woman is receiving any type of public assistance and she has minor children, she has to list a father of the children in order to continue to get the assistance (so the state can pursue the father for child support). This might have been the case with the mother.
