@@lorettawsllace4185 I respect your words. zooming out from your family, abuse doesn't have to mean physical abuse, there's always a reason behind why children have sex and why they are having babies.
Sometimes some children grow up in environments that enable and element of motional neglect in some way and never receive therapy for it. Some of those children can end up being effected and looking for affection in the wrong places as teens, neglect is a form of abuse and also children having sex together is abusive and for most against the law (depending on where you are). That's what happens when your parents argued in a way that made you feel deeply unsafe and insignificant in your chidhood. It triggers the child in you and takes you right back to that place of extreme fear and it feels like life or death. It also triggers extreme abandonment because you realize, even after all the years, your tears, your rage, your fear, your pain- none of it matters enough to get them to acknowledge how their behavior affects you and it rips that childhood wound open all over again. Hadassah is so clearly a parentified child that was supposed to moderate and manage her parents emotions when they didn't know how and pressure like that can cause lasting effects and nervous breakdowns even as an adult if re triggered.

I understand that this was about the daughter but I have to be honest I think this was more about the lady mother for me. Why I said that is because I can only imagine what the mother had to go through alone raising a child by herself I know that was some hard shit endure . I witnessed my mother struggling to make sure we had everything we needed as kids it was 4 of us and none of our fathers played a part in our life so when I saw the lady mother crying I felt my mother's pain and I started to cry with her. I believe when the daughter received the DNA results she should have given her mother a big hug because our parents are human they won't always get it right but as long as we have breath in our body we can always fix the past. I watch you at least once a day❤ I swear you are the best the level of empathy patience and understanding that you give to your guest is so rare. I can feel you sometimes and some of your shows hit home for you smh you still manage to keep your emotions in tact and focus on helping them…I admire you. Yep my new talk show 💪❤️

Grandma is projecting her feelings for her daughter on this child. Grandma is stuck in her ways. She doesn't know how to properly communicate her feelings. I give her props for taking on those kids though. I have 3 daughters, and I know those teenage years were challenging but you have to keep a level of respect. I pray they work it out

KARAMO, you were placed here to help people like these and you are doing a great job, when the mom came out and started attacking, I had to look to see if it was the Jerry Springer show, they were both young and the father running the streets, he did not have any real guidance from his adult relatives, the mom has to get real counseling, she did not even go over to her daughter through all that, the dad he wants to be there, he has to step back a bit, but he loves his daughter and she loves him when she was out back crying, she said this is what her mother do all the time if she wants the relationship to work between the two of them she has to forgive herself first. I love the ending, she features her dad, hope that healing will start from here.

I just watched this episode again.
I WAS FURIOUS WATCHING THE MOTHER BLAMING THE FATHER FOR HER PAIN AND GUILT!!!
NOT WANTING HER DAUGHTER TO HAVE A GOOD RELATIONSHIP WITH HER FATHER BECAUSE THEY'RE NOT A COUPLE!!!
THE MOTHER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR HER DAUGHTER'S PAIN!!!
I CAN'T STAND MOTHERS LIKE HER!!!
AS PARENTS WE'RE SUPPOSED TO MAKE OUR CHILDREN'S LIVES BETTER!!!
YES, I CAN RELATE. I WAS A TEENAGE MOTHER AND SEPARATED FROM THEIR FATHER!!!
BUT, NEVER MADE MY CHILDREN FEEL THEY HAD TO CHOOSE BETWEEN US. AND, HE HAD GIRLFRIENDS!!!
MY MOTHER WAS MY ROLE MODEL AND I AM SO THANKFUL FOR THAT!!!
SHE KEPT THE TWO RELATIONSHIP SEPARATE.
NEVER ONCE DID SHE SAY ANYTHING NEGATIVE ABOUT OUR FATHER TO US!!
HOW YOU'RE TAUGHT TO DEAL WITH YOUR PARENTS YOU TAKE OUT INTO THE WORLD!!!
I AM FOREVER THANKFUL FOR MY MOTHER TEACHING AND SHOWING ME HOW TO RESPECT ALL ADULTS BY RESPECTING MY LESS THAN PERFECT FATHER!

@@DhamaniAlexis I am so glad I was not the only person who saw the mother and her drama, she came out like she wanted to fight, he was just 14yrs old, the father came out and held the girl and she came out and did not even go to her daughter, she just started, she tired of him and will not shut up even after seeing her daughter breaking down.

The mother was upset at the lies the man was spewing about her as a 16 year old girl. You can tell he's dishonest and putting on a front for the audience.
