- Terraria already has a lot of glitches, but recently a new one that lets you get almost any item in the game was found, and it allows for you to do crazy things like getting the zenith within 2 seconds of starting the game. Thats why in this video I not only explain how to do this glitch, some good times to use in it your playthrough, but I also attempt to explain why this glitch happens in the first place.

Cool video 👍, just wanted to mention that you don't really need to be fast with taking the zenith out of the guide's menu if you use achievements like getting your first workbench/first hammer. The reason you need to be quick with timber is because wood unlocks new recipes, updating the crafting menu and closing the guide's UI.

transmutation is still the best glitch for moon lord speedrun this doesnt change much

Another way of clearing achievements is turning off cloud saving for terraria, deleting (or moving) your achievement file, opening the game, closing the game, turning back on the cloud saving, then finally opening the game back up and selecting local save. (With the original file, you can move it to a safe place then move it back if you want all your achievements back) (also none of this affects steam achievements in any way)

I remember when a simillar glitch was in the mobile version where you just had to be a certain distance to the guide and he just gifts the item to you
I was actually in call with polarber demonstrating the glitch before he submitted his first run with it! Crazy how fast it took the speedrunning scene by storm

at this rate terraria slime is known for being the terraria glitch youtuber
you can just delete the achievement file in terraria folder without all the hassle to create a fresh new account or installing some mods

I do think it would be fun if each new character had its own unique achievement progression without a special need to clear them.

Sorry, I know this glitch can be done without mods. But seeing you said that while using mods is just one thing I’d like to point out 😂😂
You can drown yourself and drink a water bottle, shoot a beegun while using bee armor, and there are more things in mind like the rainbow gun and rainbow rod ones but they're hardmode
Something i know is that this glitch has best casual use in multiplayer
Guide is finally useful (for glitchers mostly)

I am using a pirated version of terraria, and every time I exit out, it resets specific achievements, especially "No hobo". So I just have to wait till I get the "No hobo" achievement and I get my item. And the Zenith is one.
It's over now; they finally found my personal glitch.
The devs will probably patch it for 1.4.5 now.
By the way, you can still use another method apart from achievements, hehe.

do you need to double click or just hold also do you need to hold down the "back" part on the list of your achievements?
You just need to close the achievement menu so you can either hit your esc button or the back button on the achievement menu
Regardless of which, you just need to quickly click the item you want in the crafting menu after closing the achievement menu

Prob how the cat from the portal in stardrew valley got the meowmere, using the glitch obtaining the zenith and shimmering it for the meowmere cuz there’s no way a cat can fight Moon lord

What if you make a new offile profile on your console and play terraria through that profile and get the sword. Then, go back to your other profile and play 2 player with the new profile you created with the sword and drop it to your player. It will require 2 controllers then. I haven't tried just a thought as I play on pc for terraria

5:03 not true, you can grab the item whenever you want not for just a split second
doesn’t seem to be working at all for me
that 5:03 moment is only intended if the achievement you're going to use is the "Timber" achievement. Because after you cut a tree and go to the Guide and put the sword on the box, the woods will replace the very location where the sword was situated in (I'm talking about the uppermost item box to the left), which in turn if you stayed longer for seconds after pressing the achievement, the crafting UI of the guide will be replaced with the normal crafting UI and crafts for that wood will be the one present.

lol I beat you to it :D you can also get demon wings this way pre-hardmode with feathers from harpys :D
edit: best achievements are the timber, first night, work bench and anvil
Also if you're playing on a pirated version, achievements will reset daily anyway so you get a bunch of freebies every day.

This let me get myself a new zenith after I unfairly lost mine (Character corruption from a random game crash)
Similar boat, i crafted it after obtaining moonlords starwrath sword but i lost a days worth of progress so i would have to fight moonlord a handful more times to get the sword back again
It will be hard to use that glitch in mobile for sure🤣🤣

I haven't tested it on the console yet, but for the switch, you would just make a new profile on your switch and play terraria on that

Well great I'm super pissed now cuz you just made me waste 2 years of progress cuz I was hoping this worked but I didn't know how to do it so I deleted the app reinstalled it and then was hoping it works so I could actually use this glitch on my phone realizing it didn't work I don't know you should have said it doesn't work for mobile like I had a lot of work on it you should have said it doesn't work
Who would thought that the once was ever useless Guide can be a game breaking machine now? Thus, this left us with 1 completely useless for game progress and hated npc being the Angler alone. Damn i still hate this guy for being a brat and have to wait 1 in game day to do his thing unlike the Guide who can do all these glitches as long as we have achievement for it
