Industrial Design Sketching LINE WEIGHT - What is it? Why use it?

Hey SketchMonkey, loving the videos, but could you add a pointer of where the light is coming from, so that amateurs like us who are learning shading can get an idea of how different sources/directions look?

My light source is pretty much always coming from the top right corner, happy to make a specific video on different angles
