Great to see OGs still in the Honda game. I'm 50 and I still remember back in the mid 90s in my Honda days as well . Keep it coming Mike , TJ , Jon and team
@@RICARD01I gave my son my 96 DC2 integ SE hatchback that I got new. Basic mods and he drives it to school. People stop to talk to him about it all the time.
@@Just_B2ULucky I had a 1998 Acura Integra I built it from a wreak and got it repainted but my parents didn't let me drive and they forced me to sell it because it's an old car
Between Type S Terry and @JohnNguyenVincent you guys have me about ready to drop a grand on those cooling plates. Man the engine bay looks sick with that.
Looks absolutely fantastic!!! That carbon fiber intake is the business!!!! If they release a carbon fiber hood/trunk lid not only will it match everything, but it will be functional dropping at least almost 40 pounds off. Less weight, less to hall around, and put more of that more power down!
That intake looks as amazing as it performed! 40hp is nothing to sneeze at. I think the closed airbox system definitely sounds way better/cleaner. Congrats TJ! The carbon cooling plates look amazing as well. Would a stickier tire help with traction?
Man that thing looks amazing. I’d call it done powerwise. Why would you want any more when what you already have, you can’t even put down? I’d work on suspension improvements/upgraded tires before even thinking of trying to up the power. That’s if I wanted more to begin with, cuz I’d honestly just leave it alone at this point. That intake is really a work of art, especially when it’s laid out on the table and you can see the filter and the contrast with the rest of the carbon.
Wow, engine bay looked amazing with all carbon fiber kits. Look forward to it next video to see If Integra will make 600hp or not on Infinity intake. 😎😁👍
I'm guessing it was the higher flowing intake itself vs the smaller unit you previously had that made all the difference. Inlet pipe probably had no effect compared to the PRL. Wonder how this would stack up to a PRL race MAF HVI? PRL is nowhere near ad nice looking, but I bet it flows the same or more. 🤙
No we tuned with the new turbo and old intake first than we got the new intake and re dyno it was about 4 weeks apart the temps were about the same at the dyno on both days i believe it was actually cooler the first time around
Is this car trackable with this much hp and torque? Or is it gonna over heat? Also how reliable is this car now ? I’m asking cause I have a type S and really looking to give it more power with out losing reliability.
@@Camj27 ouch i left the honda game a few years ago for the same reason too many recalls and the times just got ridiculous. Say i been working on luxury German brands and even if it’s warranty they pay good and not to mention they always break so you got job security 😆
@@Unclepeterxy It’s gotten so bad since 2019 for Honda and Acura. All I do now is rod bearings recalls because it’s the best work coming into the shop. They even have warranty services now.

There won't be any original parts left on that type S 😅 you could have bought just the chassis and frame from Acura and built the rest from aftermarket parts (: Beautiful car btw 👌🏽
Man, I absolutely love the looks of these cars and the engines are amazing. But FWD just kills it. I could compromise with an AWD model, but all that power for FWD just ruins it for me.
I'm not spending anywhere near that for an intake lol! I know you guys are trying to justify it but that's a hell no and gains on these modern cars are minimal

That engine bay looks insane. Love it
Your engine bay looks like Megan fox in her prime…beautiful
Transformers…
Finally tlx type s back on the channel 🎉
That TLX Type S looks so sick!🔥🔥
The car is absolutely gorgeous a dream come true type of vehicle to own can you imagine with all the comfortability that it has and it made 750whp
Nice to see tlx type s content 🔥
Between Type S Terry and @JohnNguyenVincent you guys have me about ready to drop a grand on those cooling plates. Man the engine bay looks sick with that.
That white TLX sounds beautiful 😍
Love it!!! Your car is beautiful- carbon fiber in the engine bay is stunning!
The packaging bags are so nice I couldn't bring myself to throw them away.

The most beautiful unboxing I've ever seen
Damn, never knew it could make that much power
Love this car and setup , keep it up
Soo we ever going to see an actual dragy / quarter mile time from this 570whp 3200lb car ? 😅

What’s revving up at the 22 min mark? Sounds awesome
Love the intake looks dope!🔥🔥 wish it was louder but I’ll trade louder for more hp
I hope someone makes the engine bay covers in plastic for those of us who want a finished oem look
Can someone please show me where they got the red ambient lighting from including in the wireless charging console 🙏🏼🙏🏼👀

Nice car, i had dark grey a 1991 integra, stock 4 door, thing was so nice, till someone ran a stop sign and killed it.
The new ones are so nice
600whp 😮😮
Let’s see some roll racing 😅😅

You/Y'all made a great car better. Enjoy it.
What is next for Type S Terry?
Are the side view mirrors the stock color ?
Awesome content awesome setup....maybe seats next....or some HRC exterior stuff
14:25 is that car trying to keep up?😂
Beautiful
Cant wait to get my integra

sweet build... how much to reproduce it on my civic type r...?
Looking at doing something new with my exhaust. Anyone got info on that? New to the car scene and wanna do it right
Type S terry is the MAN! What’s the next content going to be?!?
🔥 🔥
So the tlx type S is a Sh- AWD model. How did u guys dyno with the front wheels only? Don't lie
same question, I have tlx type s 2021.
Bro! I thought I was the only one!
We just removed the drive shaft and it becomes front wheel drive
I thought the TLX type S was rear-wheel biased.
@@tjlockwood4152 but how you can make sure the car outputs 100% power to the front?
When u cracking the block open & doing internal mods?
Didn’t you last mod and tune in Summer…when the air is hot and less dense?
No we tuned with the new turbo and old intake first than we got the new intake and re dyno it was about 4 weeks apart the temps were about the same at the dyno on both days i believe it was actually cooler the first time around
Are we still going to see dc5 content!?
What was the total cost of everything you did to the car?
Is this car trackable with this much hp and torque? Or is it gonna over heat? Also how reliable is this car now ? I’m asking cause I have a type S and really looking to give it more power with out losing reliability.
How much power can a factory k20c8 run safely? I read online that most people only crank it up to 500hp. TJ is pushing the envelope for sure!
Has TJ upgraded the valvetrain? I haven't followed every mod he's done.
JT must be swinging 100 hours a week flat rate.. 👊
More like 200 those mods are expensive 😅😅
I was thinking the same thing. I’m an Acura tech and all we do is warranty work. 50hrs is a good week now.

How much is 391 whp at the crank?

thought the tlx was awd? If so how did yal disengage the rear end?
This is an integra type S. Not a TLX
I thought TLX type S couldn’t be tuned?
Ktuner Flashed
Lawd TJ, what you want is a rocket lol. Just kidding, I wish you could work on my Type S. Would you fly to NY?
Looks great and sounds about right, but I'm not sure it is money well spent. I guess if you are happy with it, that's all that matters.
Ha, right in my backyard lol!
Try pulling in 6th gear if possible.

On a Dynapack there wouldn't be any tire spin at all
Maybe you should look up more info on high horse power cars on dyno’s
@konwai Maybe you should look up more info on low horse power cars on dynos
Can I buy the inlet pipe from you? Lol
TLX type s is a nice car but they not 400hp plus car. Trade it in on INTEGRA TYPE S 😆
👀👀💙
That tlx sounds mean

I see a limited slip front Diff in your future.
is it 570 hp from wheel ? wow !!!. How about 0-60? 😆
