My most-played game... Geez. Probably Pokemon Emerald. I have to have put over 300 hours into that game. Second would be Fallout New Vegas. 202 hours on Steam. Third: Civilization V. 194 hours. Skyrim also has to be up there. I have it on console so I'm not entirely sure as to how many hours I've put into it, but it's gotta be around 200 hours. Call of Duty: Black Ops as well. I've put in around 7 days of game time. Destiny is coming up as well, I've put 150 hours into it so far. VIDEO GAMEZ

I liked this gaming Q&A. Pretty cool. Zelda on the NES was open world. Although it's not considered so by today's standards in open world gaming. It will be a challenge for Nintendo but I am hopeful for it! The footage I've seen so far looks good. Will be buying that from the estore on day of release. I prefere PC to console gaming as well (as a teen I played a lot of online games before they became popular on consoles) although I do own a Wii U because of my kids and I had great memories playing Nintendo as a kid myself. Although the gamepad infuriates me because of its battery life and eventually it refuses to charge at all... When I first started playing Magic it was a pain because only one of my friends played it and there wasn't online games you could play to challenge people. This is why I love Hearthstone alongside with its fast paced gameplay. I hope they release more classes. Two games I put the most effort into the most was Everquest and Diablo 2 as well (lol). At a time when I used to take games way too seriously. We must be about the same age haha. Omg, I loved the Burnout games haha. Started playing em on the cube and then on PS2. I got sucked into a couple of mobile phone games but really regret it now. It sucks the way triple A games are following this trend. Why "Nope" for Half-life 3? =/. Mortal Kombat on the SNES was my best! Making maps on TimeSplitters is so much fun.
It took me 8 hours to finish "The Order: 1886", plus about 4 more to platinum. Loved the story, the setting, the characters, the guns, the soundtrack. Hope they make "1887". (The full price value depends on your wallet. But the game is good, even though I don't believe it has too much replayability.)

for VR the totem was a better idea than the occulus. it is VR but with cameras to allow AR. so if someone comes into the room, you push a button and you can see and hear them without taking off the mask. similarly it has built in audio, and having surround sound built into the headset and sharing passthrough is just great. the occulus now has some of the specs that the totem had a few years ago, but i never was excited about occulus. for some reason the VR concept i had in mind was from 2011 and with 2K displays, but it might have been the totem after all idk.
Hell yeah, Forza Horizon 2 is one of the best racing games I've EVER played. My favorite used to be Burnout: Revenge for original Xbox. And Crash Mode on Burnout 3 was revolutionary and still the best mini-game/bonus mode I've played on a racer. So props to saying there needs to be a new Burnout game, by Criterion Games, that would be amazing. They made Need For Speed awesome again. They need to resurrect Burnout. (But I've read they're making a "New driving game IP with ATVs, helicopters, wing suits, etc." so who knows, maybe that will be amazing too.)

I liked FF8, it was actually my first FF (played a bit of 1 through X2), and the only one I've actually finished (because I'm a completionist and never really finished 6, 7, or 9 - the ones I liked best)... but in lore, story, gameplay, and everything, my favorite is definitely FF6. The series is definitely my favorite JRPG. The game I've played for the longest while was the Sims series. It was the only thing I played for a length of 9 years during undergrad schools (quit Chemistry and moved to English after nearly 4 years).
Boogie when you said you have never seen an episode of DragonBall z my head exploded. To answer that persons question the new dbz game is pretty cool. If you're a dbz fan I'd definitely recommend it.

Elders Scrolls 3 Morrowind was my "entry" to RPGs, my friend had it, I became totally obsessed with it, played 9 hours straight on his computer staring at the map for daedric ruins! And it induced me to pre-order Oblivion, which is the only game ever that I have pre-ordered.

I think FF8 is the most overlooked game especially with rpgs. The card game and the quests that were with it were a welcomed distraction.
Was playing Triple Triad on FFXIV while watching this. Went a little fan boy when he talked about FFVIII and Triple Triad from that game.
