    They look really good. I liked the shots with real trees in the background. I wasn't sure when you chose yellow flock, but it worked. Do you wish your bases were more organically shaped?

    Wear a mask when filing MDF . Fine particles get in your lungs . Also try White PVA whiteboard the stuff Architects use . Works just like MDF

    Hmmnnn.. IKEA doesn't stock this particular SKU any more.... any ideas on where to find similar fine needled smaller trees? Most of the ones I see on Amazon have much thicker needles that are more like ribbons, or needles made of plastic.

    Big tip to save money : Buy large bottle of PVA glue from hardware and dont pay stoopid overpriced prices for woodland scenics . Try Noch or elsewhere just save ya $$ . Would you pay for a Ferrari and get a Korean car hey ?

      Did I mention flow improver in this video? 👍😂 If so then flow improver is an agent that you use in paints to break up the surface tension and make the paint flow more easily. Hope that answers your question Rob! 👍😃

    Incredible results! Makes me want to make some trees as well. Any alternatives to the flocking materials (being cash poor, I can't buy the stuff...)?

      That's awesome! I would look into making my own and in that case I would use either really fine sawdust or trying to grind up fluffy foam and color it. AFAIK that's what the woodland scenics is. I think though that sawdust might be simpler? Depending on your specific situation. Hope that helps!

      On another note, I would also look around in the nature for mosses and such. That could be easily a good enough tree using lichen or something like that?

      Yeah honestly once one starts crafting your senses sort of tune into "what can I use for crafting" :)

    I always cut towards the thumb, my dad is a woodworker of 35 years and he does it too. He says its much safer, as you can control the pressure and wont slide out!

    Sadly it looks like Fejka has been discontinued at that exact product number, HOWEVER it looks like it has possibly just been rebranded as "Vinterfint 805.242.07". Hope this helps anyone who finds this in the future, and thank you for the great tutorials as always!
