I just saw this video pop up on my feed and clicked instantly - something I love about your videos is that you share more than most about your iterations and own learning in the process of making truly awesome models. Happy to see you back and hope life has treated you well in the interim. All the best :)
I love how you hide in plain sight what type of „model“ kept you busy. Congratulations 🎉
This is so well made as per usual! Fantastic video, thanks for putting in so much time to deliver us this crafting wisdom!
Here we go again!!! Good to have you back, Geordie!
"I stop to see a weeping willow/crying on his pillow..." Came for the tutorial, subbed for the Wilhelm Scream. The thread technique could be used to make hanging plants like Wisteria for dollhouse or model horse dioramas.
Well done!! You not only came back after a break. You came back in a big way!!! That tree is beautiful and sets my mind to racing with ideas!!! Your tutorials are top tier stuff!! Thank you for this video!! WELCOME BACK!!!!!
I absolutely love how you leave in the thought making process of builds like this! Most videos make it seem like they have everything figured out from the start when in reality the process is a lot more complex organic like you’ve shown! ❤
This willow is so weeping I could cry. Excellent work Geordie, hope you have been well!
Thanks Nick! Glad to be crafting again :) hope you've been doing well too!
Yay, new fancy tree video from Geordie! That paste looks cool, tried making trees this way in the past (yes, they really are stabby) but I never found a satisfying coating for them. The fronds look great too!
"try and catch me howlin' at the moon" . Perfect!
The Cotton Thread is A GREAT IDEA< How bout that idea for Some VINES??? With how you do this, and add small leaves or something like that! I LOVE THIS IDEA, I have to Borrow it, " hehe" you know.. GREAT VIDEO I learnded SUMTHIN!! SAVED IT!!! GREAT WORK!!!
Thanks so much! I plan on doing a vine video soon!
This is the first time I've seen one of your video's, and I don't know how that's possible since I usually search for video's about how to make trees at least once a month. Regardless, I wanted to tell you what a wonderful job you did on this one. Very impressive and a super result.
Anyway, Geordie, i found your techniques absolutely inspiring, and I am definitely going to try this one out.
It looks absolutely gorgeous! I'm happy to see a fresh upload.
I want to make a "willow" cherry tree, so this shape but pink, and... it needs to be something like 1 cm high, and I've started DIY 2 months ago 😆
Your creations are really amazing, it's impressive to see everything you master!! Your videos are informative and funny, I hope you'll feel like doing plenty more, or that you'll have time! You seem to clearly enjoy them 😊
Awesome build! Also, love the shots of Canadian winter. Insulated rubber boots ftw!
I cant decide what is more impressive, your crafting, or your B Roll! Fantastic work!
The willow tree looks amazing. My grandson says we'll have to have a go at making one at some point. we've also watched how you make rocks, which is something we may have a go at on our my grandson's 009 model railway he's planning to build soon. He will be posting updates on that when he gets going on his Dylington Model Railway channel. Where he's been filming his model railway, if you get a chance, have a quick look he's doing a great job of filming it. Anyway, we've just subscribed.....cheers James 🙂👍
Thank you for such an informative video. Love your presentation. Just watch all of your videos and am looking forward to seeing what comes next. Richard
Once I learn how to open the florist's wire package by hammering on it, I will try this too. If you have tips, please share :)
Good to see you back in action!
Haha just give it a few more whacks and it should work eventually 😂
Thanks for stopping by!
I give this one a Total - 😮WOW😮
This tree is awesome.
super coool method, and i love the box idea for making the vines
I would love to see you make a South Florida slash pine. They can grow into cool shapes. Please keep making trees, they are beautiful. 🤩
Very cool. Came out looking great. Have to check out more of your videos
Yoooooooo I am sooo happy that you are back
I thought you left TH-cam
And tree looks very nice
Very, VERY cool!
Good to see you back - great video!
Good to see you back!
I've just begun watching I can already tell this is gonna be incredible! Glad yo see you crafting again!
My favourite part of the video was when you cut the wood on something besides the kitchen table
Thats great, def going to be doing this, thanks my fellow Canadian in the cold.
This is so cool, going to be using some of these techniques in the future! Thank you for the video!
Great to see you again! 🎉
Glad for all the Canadian references even with the unseasonably warm year! I use the heat pump trick all the time!
Amazing!
Whomping willow ❤
Wow! Can confirm, jaws were dropped.
I am creatively stumped atm but I am SO coming back to your trees when I'm out of that hole.
I know the feeling of being in a creative slump. Hopefully it passes and you can enjoy making things again soon! Thanks for stopping by 😊
Absolutely brilliant :) Thank you for sharing
Such a great video! You're the best out there! ❤️

Geordie, I surprised myself by making that Cherry tree for my wife for christmas. She loved it. Now I have the confidence to make this willow tree. Thanks so much and keep the trees coming. Lots of fun.
Oh that's so lovely to hear! I'm glad it worked well for you 😊😊
Let me know if you have any questions about the willow!
@@Geordiecrafts Hello again, Am I right to say this willow tree is around 8 -10 inches high.Could it be made to be higher? Thanks, Jim
awesome to have you back, I love the production of your videos, you really make it feel playful and the crafting is as always on point ! great work Geordie :D
Brilliant
Canadian humour and foibles are the best.
So glad to see you share some maker results with us again! Welcome back. Two things I took particular notice of: (1) the thread/flock technique (2) The Liquitex for helping to 'seal' flock to material - I struggle sealing flocking to landscape with watered down mod podge - very happy to see this suggestion. Thanks!
You're back!
Well I came here cause the last video I saw of you building a tree was freakin awesome and I wanted to see that again! You definitely didn’t disappoint!!!
Well done!
This is over the threes! 💪 I love it! I love it to see you doing all the steps! Looks fantastic!!!! I think that i have a bit of work in front of me. I need around 20 of them 🤦♂️👍🤪 i forgot that you inspired me before a lot of times! Thank you! Please keep going! And all the best for you and your family!
That is a truly beautiful piece for any table. I am absolutely going to have to make one.
Wow! So much respect!!
Love it!
And I want to make this one! Off to haw to make a rock!
So happy to see another video from you!
With those brad nails - the nailgun has a depth adjust next to the trigger. I wonder if you could do that faster by mis-using the depth adjust 😅
Such a good looking tree!
Thanks! I did try that on another piece of scrap and it still went in a bit too far to be usable for this haha. It didn't take too long to hammer them anyway 😊
Stunning! Love it
Just insane wow really amazing
Fantastic job!
Weeping Willow is my favourite tree, you really nailed it. Love the project and the video, great editing! Just fantastic.

Amazing. Nice Job. This is artwork. Greetings from Germany 👍💪🌲
I’m so excited to watch this!!!! Happy to see a new project from you :)
(I’ve watched it twice)
Excellent work! Weeping willows are among the most difficult trees to make in my opinion. I tried doing it with dyed feathers once but I wasn't sold on it. I love your work thanks for sharing!
Woww!! Love your work! So creative! Your tree looks so real! Thanks for sharing!
Looking forward for more of your videos! 😊
Awesome thank you

This was good thanks, loved the last tree video and already made one of those. Not sure if I can bring myself to making a weeping willow... but if I do I will be back to watch again!
Wow, what an amazing video, both in content and production. Tree looks amazing too, lol.
You are finally back!

Wooow👍 Thank you for this super Video. This is a great guide and the weeping willow looks fantastic. 🤗 Bye Frank
One of the best looking model trees I've ever seen. Good job!
Well, hells, I suppose there goes my last excuse for not working on that weeping willow Ent model I've been dreaming of for half a life-age of the earth, it feels like. I daresay this video's too good not to try at, at least once.
Don't stop making videos i find it out very satisfying 😢
Bravo...super tutoriel et surtout belle réalisation, Merci
I'm happy to see you back here :). Have a wonderful day.
You got a big LIKE for the use of the Wilhelm Scream. LOL A great video, very helpful and instructive.
I just couldn't help myself with the Wilhelm scream 😂 glad you enjoyed it!
Wow, exceptional quality (content and editing too)! Again! You set the exceptations high with the former videos, but Im never dissapointed here. Thanks for this!

Hi Geordie, so nice to have you back! such a great video and a wonderful tree, Happy 2024 :)
Thank you! Same to you! :)
Just found your channel, I’m so impressed and awed by your work!! Subbed and liked immediately 💕
Trunk is great. Leaves hidden all your hard work.
Nice idea 🔝 💡
Very good to see you back. I've enjoyed (and learned a lot from) your videos in the past. My model railroad will have a farmhouse scene that screams for one of these in the front yard. So let's see- .138"=1 foot x 40=5.520" or about 140 mm.
So cute :D
