      Your curls may be tighter because the cells of our body are completely new every 7 years. The pores your hair come out of my have changed, affecting the curl. We can have multiple hair textures in a lifetime, but nothing too crazy. Also, curls weigh themselves down as they get longer.

    Does anybody remember back in the day when we would wash our hair on a Saturday and then get our hair braided/cornrowed on a Sunday ready for the school week. My hair used to grow like crazy and My mum would wash my hair with black soap. Then I grew up and started using all these crazy products on the market. Ladies I have gone back to using black soap to wash my hair I only use shea butter and coconut oil on my hair best decision ever.

    That wild growth is the truth.. it’ll make your hair sprout like a chia pet if you use it correctly. Every weekend I’d use it because it does stink. I’d wash my hair apply it all over my scalp and throw my hair in a bun and apply to ends. Left it in for 3 days. Did it for a couple months and man my hair grew like crazy.

    • @obiajulumgbechi

      Sadii Hashmi try doing the LCO or LOC method. Which is basically
      L means Liquid, so water or a leave in
      C means cream so you can use Shea butter, a moisturizer, any cream
      O means oil so you can use any oil like coconut, almond, jojoba, any oil
      You can interchange the C and the O to what fits best for you.

    • @lMlAlCl
      @lMlAlCl 4 ปีที่แล้ว +23

      Sadii Hashmi don’t just add water to your hair. Always put a leave in conditioner unless you have ALOT of product build up in your hair. Water can make your hair DRYER once it dries out. Know your hair porosity.

    I couldn't agree more with all of these tips. Those MSM crystals coupled with collagen and vitamin C are game-changers! Adding fenugreek seeds to your scalp oil helps promote fast hair growth too. Super informative video. New subbie!

    • @judysmith-randle1558
      @judysmith-randle1558 4 ปีที่แล้ว +37

      @@AmazedByKay Yes to fenugreek seeds. I did this myself. I lightly roasted the seeds 1/2 cup..added that to 1/2 cup virgin oil...in a glass Mason jar. .let it sit overnight..I let it sit for two days. Then began to use it. My hair grew like crazy..even my loctician noticed and said.my growth spurt is early. I can vouch for wild growth hair oil too. Been using it for years..grew my sister locks to 22 inches in about 18 months. That was the goal.
      Mission accomplished. Decided to cut it short in January of this year...about 3 and one half inches all over..short and curly.....I KID YOU NOT...My hair is now 6..inches long.....and today is April 19th. Thank you so very much for the research and education. I am a 4c/4b girl myself with low porosity. I am following some of your suggestion...hydrate..moisture. be well and be safe..Ancestors bless.

    Kay, this was one of the best, most informative, and thorough videos I've watched for natural hair care. I've been a natural for about seven and a half years. The first year, I had no idea what I was doing, but I spent most of my spare time watching videos and learning. I big-chopped on December 5, 2013, and had about two inches of length. Exactly one year later, my hair had grown past my shoulders. I have my hair professionally cut and shaped once a year and trim at home about three times a year. If I had left it alone (as in, NOT have it cut, but only trimmed), it would probably be tailbone length by now. Lesson learned! I've been taking MSM internally twice a day for the past couple of months. I do believe my hair has gotten thicker, but I can't tell yet how much length I've retained. My nails are growing very fast, so I'm filing them down every week. I just purchased the Maine Choice Hair Growth Oil and will start using it. However, I will also look into the oil you mentioned and compare the ingredients. Thank you for sharing your information and especially for encouraging viewers to educate ourselves! I am a new subscriber to your channel!

It works sit on a chair bend forward looking down massage the oil into your scalp for 4 to 5 min every day and your hair will grow fast. I heard any oil will work, but I only used wild hair growth oil and in less then 6 months I had hair down my back . It was at shoulder length when I started. The funny thing about wild growth oil: it used to be featured in the back ad sections of Ebony, Jet. Essence. So I've seen it as a child; I used to think it was a fraud, but then as I got older, I saw their bottle in the Ma & Pa neighborhood store and decided to try. . .YES I love how soft it made my 4C hair feel and it grew!

    Just a friendly suggestion, for my fellow low porosity 4c girls. It’s also very good to use a clarifying shampoo once in awhile to get any build up on your hair and scalp from products, and oils that non sulphate shampoos don’t cleanse

  • @Babyluv_

    Wild hair growth oil is great! But it’s too runny for me. It gets me annoyed lol.
    But your tips are good and effective. I have 3C/4A, low porosity, fine hair. I pre-poo and wash once a week, I deep condition once a month and that’s a protein treatment. I don’t feel the need to constantly deep condition every week for moisture because I constantly keep my hair moisturized during the week with my spray bottle of hair crack lol. I oil my scalp maybe twice a week (I use the oil mix from Mielle Organics and it’s amazing!), i moisturize every 1-2 days with my spray bottle of aloe Vera juice, vegetable glycerin, rose water, oil mix from Camille rose (It has excellent ingredients which includes biotin and MSM). My hair grows 3/4 “ - 1” per month.

    Happy trail LOL! Thanks for the video. Your hair grew because you fed it internally and externally. You are using a lot of sulfur which does grow hair. You can also rub onion juice on your scalp and that will help hair to grow because of the high sulfur content in onion. Onion also slows down grey hair because it increases the enzyme called catalase that darkens hair. Great video and good luck with your hair growth!

    I don’t agree with the split ends comment mainly because it all depends on that person’s hair. When I used to get perms I trimmed and my hair grew a lot. Now that I’m natural it doesn’t so I stopped trimming it and notice that my hair is getting much longer.

    Well done in saying that we need to educate ourselves. My father's hair went from 4C hair to 3A after his chemotherapy treatments. RIP). So yes chemical like relaxers and perms can change our hair texture, managability and growth overtime with constant use. I don't use or like the hair typing system but for other to understand i used it here to emphasize my point. Know your hair. xoxo

    I have 2 out of the 3 that you recommended. I use Wild Hair Growth Oil regularly. I use liquid MSM, it's not organic like your, but I got it for $23 buck at Vitamin Shoppe. Its liquid so that means it absorbs faster. Then I have my weekly regimen for Deep Conditioning n hot oil treatments. Everyday I get in the shower, I put my head under water. When I get out I put a leave in Conditioner, then seal with a light oil bcuz I have fine hair. My hair is mainly 4a n b, but there's some 3c up in there too. My hair is coming back from the damage of sew in's. I lost a lot of hair. It too almost 2 years for my hair to accept the regimen, it was so badly damaged. But now, I've grown my hair to bra strap length. It's doing its thing. I will give it another year to make it to waste length, doing the same thing I'm doing. Thanks for your video.
