- After a hiatus, I return to the mission, pushed by a friend (and a bet!) and bring a video on tactics study using the Chess.com tactics tools. I share all the content for you to do alongside me, sharing my successes and misses and what I saw or not. Do you have goals of your own in chess? Then let's be virtual study buddies!
What is 'Study Chess with me'?
Join me on this chess journey to improve our chess as we study chess together. I will study chess tactics, as well as chess strategy learning from Ludek Pachman's masterpiece, "Complete Chess Strategy", and studying endgames from Mark Dvoretsky in his magnum opus, "Dvoretsky's Endgame Manual".
I share my spontaneous comments and impressions as I work through it all, including live recorded failures and successes as I work the exercises. You are invited to study the same material at the same time, or to just put the video on while you study chess on your own, and I study alongside you.
Let's take our chess to the next level!
For my tactics study I used:

This is my first time ever watching you, I'm sorry to hear about your difficulties. I'm new to chess, and I'll be watching each video you release! Good luck on the journey. Everyone's rooting for you!
Many thanks!
I have been studying chess since I was a kid, but really playing much more since 2019, when I when Covid started and we had to stay home, mother was slowly dying of Parkinson’s, and last year did pass on. I’m always looking for new ideas, or ideas 💡 I’d not known about yet. I really on chess to get me thru the daze.
Good.
Muy interesante seguir tu ruta de entrenamiento. Permaneceré atento. Excelente canal. Felicitaciones....
Gracias!
From another old but ambitious chess student in NYC, I hope your family member is feeling better, and that you'll get that FM title. Enjoy the journey!
Thanks for the support, and yes, it is an adventure and the fun is the trodding of the road. As to the other point, no, but it was a foregone conclusion and no false hopes were ever erected.
Welcome back Albert. I have missed "Study Chess with me".
@@nevilleduplessis1750 Thanks Neville!
Glad you are back and got through the difficult times. A fan for you to reach your goal at the young age of the 50’s.
😊
I am 69 and still learning...
I am also a student for life. Nothing of what I do or did can be called a natural consequence of French Lit. 😀
