    “It doesn't matter how you win, as long as you win!!! Run around them or run through them”…Logano has that blue collar grit, That this sport has lacked for along time. I appreciate his style.

    • @jeffyoder8105
      @jeffyoder8105 ปีที่แล้ว

      hey David Stewart the problem with your comments about if can't runaround them then run through the is that, that mentality is what Justin Marks had to be warned about by some of the other team owners who basically told him his comments and attitude could cause the kind of racing that would wreck a lot of cars and injure a lot of drivers and Nascar has already shown they can't or won't keep things under control and their hypocritical way of passing down fines and penalties would in the long run , bankrupt Nascar beyond being savable

    • @jeffyoder8105
      @jeffyoder8105 ปีที่แล้ว

      And y'all the situation between Logano and Hamlin has been an off and on thing for years now and is something Nascar officials should put a stop to before the two 2⃣ of them cause a "big one 1⃣ " that takes out half the cars and drivers for half a season or more , and with that said I'm going to back out of here and let y'all debate how and what Nascar needs to do to keep from destroying itself

    Yeah Denny has been known to crowd people into the wall if they don't lift and he did that to Joey, who has a reputation of being an aggressive driver also, so that is where their rivalry comes from basically, they are 2 aggressive drivers who tend to be running against each other for a win and neither feels the need to back down from the other,so their rivalry and clashes will probably keep happening until one or both retire from racing

      @@lucashelm4853 hey Lucas helm , like I said all little while ago a little bit of "rubbing and moving people out of the way would be fine with me as long as Nascar officials stay on top of things and don't be as hypocritical about how they hand out fines and penalties like they were this 2023 season a sort of return to the kind of racing that happened backinthe days before Sr was killed when he , the Labonte brothers and a group of future stars ⭐ (Denny Hamlin , Tony Stewart, Jeff Gordon, and others would race each other about as hard as they thought they could without wrecking themselves and who they were racing tightly and usually Sr would do his normal pulling up close as he could to his "victim and then "worry" him into making a mistake so Sr could "rub" on him enough to make a pa and I can only remember the Sr and Terry Labonte incident at Martinsville where they had pulled a bump and run pass on each other a couple or times a piece and then Sr pretty much very clearly hooked Labonte and took him out but Labonte recovered and he and Sr had a pretty much beating and banging finish for the last couple or three laps with Sr just edging out Labonte for the win and in his post-race interview Sr unapologetically admitted he had only meant to "rattle Labonte's cage a bit with a big smile on his face and to his credit Terry Labonte said the wreck was caused by the both of them rubbing on each other and Sr had "]eaned on him (Labonte a little too hard but it was really just the two 2⃣ of them racing each other as hard as they felt they could on the 1/2 mile short track of Martinsville like most Nascar drivers start their careers on which was part of the reasoning that I for one 1⃣ used in my comments pushing for Nascar to return to it's roots of short track racing, before the gimmick races at the Colleseum and covering the Bristol track with dirt amid the gimmick race cries of some armchair experts and some drivers and finally showing Nascar he'd spend his own money influence to try to get Nascar to return to North Wilkesboro which resulted with the2023 Allstar race being held at North Wilkesboro much to the liking of the drivers who were involved in the race and the buying of a sort of minor league type of minor league late model stock car series that Jr and I believe Denny Hamlin, and Kevin Harvick becoming co-owners of the series based on the popularity of the SRX series and I've seen and heard interviews with Jr where he's said he'd like to see both series kept up and running as sort of driver development programs giving the young up and coming drivers more experience with possible future manufacturers backing and some sponsorship monies being added to the "pot" of financial backing for a couple or 3 minor league style series sort of patterned after the minor league series in Major league baseball and Jr and the other co-owner s are trying to be realistic about how to slowly aquire the financing to turn the SRX series The sort of local late model stock series into the first couple of steps up the ladder to the Cup series so it would an almost level slide into racing the current short tracks in Nascar currently, Martinsville, Bristol and North Wilkesboro with the possibility of Eldora getting a race each season based on the popularity of the SRX series the last couple or3 years so you'd have a dirt track race and a pavement race at North Wilkesboro each year allowing the young guns of each season's truck and xfinity series to show off their improving skills and talents to Cup series teams in hopes of getting offered seats in Cup series cars which if Nascar Management could use their greed for money properly and remember the old saying, that if you don't want to spend your own money to make money then make sure the product you're promoting is attractive enough to get the interest you're looking for in your product so that you catch the eyes of possible investors who can help promote your product which I Nascar's case would be catch the interest of possible sponsors and work on getting TV coverage contracts with probably at least 1 maybe 2 networks like th ey already have but will need to renew fairly soon and work on getting the kind of contracts that will help in keeping Nascar more and more competitive in the fan base wars with the other major sports organizations in this country and possibly more profitable coverage deals i Mexico 🇲🇽 and Canada 🇨🇦 and maybe explore a little more the possibility of European tracks that could accommodate Nascar stock cars whether they be ovals or road courses but not bite off more than they can handle and then as Hamlin, Harvick , and others have said start running Nascar the way it needs to be run and when they have started running Nascar the way it needs to be run Nascar Management will finally realize they need to pay attention to another old saying , which is you have to spend some money to make money

    So the sport changed in 1992-1995 with Dale then Kyle petty had a hand in it. That’s when blocking became acceptable. What people didn’t like about Logano is what he was doing is not racing. Causing a crash = stopping the race = fans get bored = decline of the sport and viewers. My generation and even my kids today they understand the difference between racing and putting on a show VS crash derby’s. -- if you show up to the track with a slow car then you do everything you can but you don’t wreck the field all because you have a slow car that’s nobody’s fault but yours. It’s a arrogant toddler mindset where they will wreck the entire field now just because they showed up with a slow pos car as if it’s everyone else’s fault. This is what has destroyed endurance racing. Also the splitters made the cars so sensitive you can wreck someone just by being ignorant about aeroforces.

    • @dandaniels4558
      @dandaniels4558 ปีที่แล้ว

      I loved Dale Earnhardt Srs attitude about slower cars.
      Dale told his crew chief to tell Rusty Wallace's crew chief to tell Rusty to lead,follow or get the hellnoit of the way but stop blocking or he would move him and this was at Bristol and 2.laps later and Rusty was hot as a hornet because Dale put the bumper to him and sent him up the track and smashed into the wall because Rusty wanted to be hard headed
      Dale was obviously faster but everytime Dale tried to pass high Rusty blocked tried to pass low Rusty blocked and this was earlier I. The race not going for the win at the end.
      Well.needless to say Dale went on to win the race and Rusty went and confronted Dale and of coarse Dale laughed at him and said you were told to stop blocking and you didn't listen so you got what you asked for.
      Not saying Dale was the cleanest driver out there but if you were faster then him he couldn't catch you to get to your bumper so can't blame him if your bumper got in his way 😂😅😂
