Not just me who noticed that Dave can beat 9 levels with 30 lives but struggle beating 6 with 100 lives
maybe super expert in smm1 is somehow harder. i think it all comes down to the amount of "hot garbage" levels

I think Super Expert is easier in MM2 because it has more inexperienced and new players, lowering the clear rate of levels.
my record in endless is 4 levels but I can’t beat 3 in 100 mario challenge. I wonder why.

The first level is based of a game called "Cadence of Hyrule" a game where the battling in the game is based on rhythm. The game is on the Nintendo Switch btw
Cadence of hyrule is actually a spin-off of another game called crypt of the necrodancer which relies on the same Rythm\beat mechanic

In SMB you can always get the 1UP by pause buffering until the fireflower shows up. Unpause and jump immediately to get the 1UP. Works every time. You had time for it in the first level.
