I take it you're not an anime fan, Dave. With the "Cruel Mole's Thesis" level, you seemed entirely oblivious to the fact that the name is a pun on the title of the Neon Genesis Evangelion opening theme ("A Cruel Angel's Thesis").
I'm glad I wasn't the only one who was thinking about that. Even though I haven't watched all NGE episodes, that opening is nearly legendary.
I've only seen the first episode or two, but I love that song. Even among those who have ne seen Evangelion, though, I believe that pretty much every anime fan out there would recognize the pun (ergo my guess that Dave's not an anime fan).
Wow, you guys are really missing out on something! I only watched NGE myself very recently (in fact, I finished the series yesterday) for the first time, but it was really amazing! Of course it's not for everybody, I can only speak for myself, but just have my recommendation!
@@sakura1910 Oh, I completely believe you. I've heard it's great but there's just so many anime to watch on each season which makes it harder to watch some older shows partly due to lack of time.

To explain that there are so many 'First' comments because when someone clicks on a video as it gets uploaded, because it takes an average person to write first in about 2.5 seconds excluding all the time needed to load everything, that results in no comments being loaded and because there is not an automatic refresh feature everyone thinks they will be the first to say 'First' 😃

Additionally, when uploaded, the video is distributed to servers across the world, where people then access the video, then those servers sync the comments posted with the other servers, so there's yet another delay added.
The watching and commenting from different servers is also why view, like, and comment numbers can be so out of whack, different servers updating at different times, with the added delay that view counts are verified during the initial sync before updating, so you only see your local view count at first, while able to see global like and comment numbers.

Yes, I have an entire Konkey Dong trilogy, sadly the first one is on mario maker 1 so i can't play it anymore, but the sequel is on my maker profile (NBJ-9C6-MGF) and the third part to the konkey dong trilogy is the one you saw dave play (a cruel mole's thesis). Also (sorry if this comes off as shameless advertising) im in the middle of making a fourth part to it, so look out for that.

Ian Alexander I don’t think he’s very involved in the MM community. Like he’s certainly aware of the other streamers and they are of him, but I don’t think he watches them and knows the terms they use.
And I mean, anti soft locks existed in the first SMM (they were more common in the last year of it), yet he seems convinced it’s a SMM2 thing.
He also doesn’t usually say “CP1” or “CP0”.
He intentionally avoids a lot of oft used terms.
@Tirso Duarte ''forced death area'' also makes a lot more sense as in you MUST work your way through this section's mechanic or gimmick to get your death, hence the name, as I'd assume an ''antisoftlock'' only to be a spike or something of the like.
