- Another chatty one this week! I've finally put together the goodie boxes because guess what....all the products have arrived! I've been busy making the notebooks, cutting stickers and sewing coasters. Can't wait for you to see! I chat a bit about what I'm doing to get more work done with my 9 month old. I've moved the studio around to make space for him as he plays, and we've even started to convert the garage into a studio (although more on that next time!).
I've also started designing a brand new product for my shop - washi tape! Eventually I'd like to have a huge variety of designs in my shop, but for now I'm starting with three, and I can't wait to get them into production, so watch this space! Right, enough chatter, time to get these boxes put together!

This really made me smile! My husband and I have a design business together and we have a 2 year old. He started kindergarten a few hours a week just this week so it has been a lot of piecing things together and being creative up until now :) It has been amazing being home and working but the separation with kindergarten will also be really nice now. Thank you for a great video!

Oh gosh I remember the days…as a new mum there is no balance lol cause baby needs their parents every sec they’re awake. Once they sleep through the night, get potty trained, then make their own meals…then parents have more time for themselves and there can be balance. Those first few years are rough but they do end at some point. My kids are 8 & 9 now and can make me lunch. It’s awesome lol

I honestly found your channel cause I've been looking for full time artists who are also full time moms. I'm having my first baby in a month and am still in school and want to find a balance between being a mom and full time artist. Thanks for sharing your experience and showing it can be done!

I can totally relate to finding the balance. I have a 7 month old and just today had a cry to my husband because I feel like I can't juggle things. I'm only working barely half a day a week but between that and my son and just keeping the house ticking along, making sure I'm a good friend and mum and all the rest..... it's hard going. So the fact you're still running your business, putting out content - you're smashing it. I know we see the shiny moments more than any other, but you're doing amazing :)
Oh my goodness I can totally relate. I’ve only juuust started getting a bit of work done, and when Freddie was 7 months I was struggling way more than I am now. It’s amazing how much of a difference a couple of months can make! For the first time since having him, I’ve felt like I’ve got a routine. Not knowing the day just threw everything off and I was also only working maybe an hour a day. I felt like when I was working flat out, I was losing my evenings! So there really was no down time. I hope you start for feel a slight balance soon. I’m still finding mine so I don’t want to say it will all work out, but I promise once you really find a solid routine, you won’t feel quite so stretched thin. As much as we’d like to, we just can’t do it all 😆🤦🏻♀️ thanks very much for the comment, I love chatting to other mums xx

It’s so hard isn’t it! I’m glad I’m not alone though - makes me feel a bit better on those harder days! I had to pause my channel for a while too but I’m feeling excited again and posting more. But I’m also not putting pressure on myself (well, trying not to haha)

I saw the goodie boxes when you first showed them on instagram and gosh, all the goodies look amazing, especially the little coaster. I just signed up for it, I can't believe I almost missed it! I’m an old hand at the mumming thing (mine are now 17 and 13) but when they were tiny, I was running a wedding cake business, so I feel your pain! I used to call myself ‘ghost mum’ because I felt like I was ‘there’ but not really able to fully participate in everything. Nap time and nursery were my sanity savers!! I’ve recently been diagnosed with a chronic illness and have had to give up my craft teaching job and am now having to start afresh. I’m trying to learn Procreate and have already set up a print on demand t-shirt company (it’s not going well), and I want to develop in other areas. Anyway, enough of my life story - I just want to say that I’ve just come across your channel and love your style of teaching and have immediately subscribed to your channel. I do have a question though - WHERE did you get your awesome office chair?! I can’t find one that looks nice and is comfortable and it’s driving me crazy!

Can’t sit for you to see the box 😍 the cricut cuts great with the vinyl (I was pleasantly surprised!) the only thing I needed to change was setting it to cut around the sticker twice. I hope it doesn’t blunt my blade - but I guess I won’t know that until I keep using it!

I ended up grabbing some washi tape from Maisah's Nook after seeing you post about it on Instagram!!! Also, I tried the vinyl hack a couple weeks ago and found that it made my stickers curl up like crazy :( yours look amazing though x
Oh that’s so strange I haven’t noticed a curling at all! I used sheets rather than a roll so I’m hoping they continue to lie flat! Did you have a roll of vinyl or flat sheets?
@@fizzandflourish I used flat sheets too! I checked the link in the description to see if we used different ones but we used the exact same🤷🏼♀️ maybe it just didn’t wanna work for me haha!

Hi Fizz, i just find your channel. and i love it. i print for now some pictures and drawings on sticker paper. but as i saw you mention there are a not as bride as i want them to be. you mention also you use good sticker paper and paper for try outs. what is the "good" sticker paper you use ? i hope i writen down it in my best english :)
Hi Wendy! Thanks for the comment 😊 so for the best quality stickers and bright colours, I use the premium waterproof matte sticker paper from evergreen goods. It’s quite expensive, but I find the colours come out best on this paper! Hope that helps 😁
