Well hello lovely people! Welcome back to another cosy studio vlog! Well, I say studio, but with moving house is more of a studio corner - but thats ok! I'm making it work! Things are very busy at Fizz and Flourish HQ as I get ready for the shop relaunch! I've been drawing lots which means there are loads of new products ready for tomorrow! I'm so happy with how the products have turned out - I really hope things go well for the relaunch!

Thank you for such a lovely comment! It’s nice to know people can see the hard work that goes I to the videos (hence why I’m not able to stick to my usual weekly schedule!) I’ve filmed lots for the next one so let’s hope it doesn’t take me all month to edit hahaha
I’m excited for your product launch!! I’m also glad I mentioned on of the other blog sewing the notebooks because its made my production time faster and the notebooks look so much better 😊 Sewing Tip: I leave a 1/4 inch seam allowance on top and bottom edge to prevent and tearing on the edges.
Thank you!! Yes I realised this after making my first one 😆 so happy with how they’ve turned out, the quality is so much better! I don’t think I saw your other comment but I wish I’d seen it soon! Not sure why I didn’t think to see them until now (considering I was a costume maker for ten years haha)
@@fizzandflourish It’s been a few months back but you highlighted my message back then as well when I mentions the sewing. I remember you saying you were a costume maker so I figured this would be easy for you. I love your illustrations and thank you for the drawing tutorial 😊
I honestly don’t know why I didn’t put these two together 🤦🏻♀️ I remember you mentioning it now and in my head I was imagining hand sewn books and I just felt that I wouldn’t have the time. NO idea why I didn’t think you meant with the machine 🤦🏻♀️

Did you end up learning why the print error? Sorry if i missed if you said it in the video. Personally, they look good with the white border and would make framing easier as dnt need to find the right white card mount for it when using a larger frame.
Hey! They never worked out why, but they re printed them for me so it’s all good! In future I’ll just make double sure I send the same size canvas as the one I’m printing! I really liked the white border apart from on the characters that were fill length - they just felt very small on the page! The larger characters filled the space tho so I really liked those!
