- Well it's a very chatty vlog this week! I explain where I've been and why I've been so vacant here on TH-cam and in my business in general. Lots to talk about this week though - it's sort of a compilation of everything I've been filming over the past few months so its definitely more than a weeks worth!

The shilouette is a great option for cutting stickers. I have a shilouette portrait 3 and I haven't had a problem with it reading the registration marks. I use to have a cricut and got rid of it for the same reason.

Ps- I have a silhouette and I love it! Once I calibrated my machine Iv had absolutely no issues cutting stickers and all sorts of things 😊
What a satisfying intro... I’m still on an insta break so I didn’t know about Derek’s appendix. My best friend also had a bad appendix burst (which she was misdiagnosed for so she walked around with it for 3 days so it also turned septic)... it was a very intensive time for her and her family so I can imagine it was a lot to deal with. So grateful that Derek is on the mend and that he had your support 🤗

Thank you for the comment - Derek’s was also misdiagnosed. He took himself to A&E with the pain, and they sent him home saying it was constipation 😳 few days later it burst and the pain was unimaginable. It was really scary, but the sepsis was worse - it’s the most stressed/scared I think I’ve ever been! So glad it’s over and he’s on the mend now

I’m so excited to use the heat press…I’ve had it for over a month now and just not had chance to test it with Derek being unwell! I’ve got lots of products planned 😆

Sorry to hear of your difficult few months 🙁. Look forward to seeing what you make with your new heat press 🙋🏼♀️. The Cricut machine can be extremely frustrating 🤦🏼♀️. Mine plays up too and the design space is always changing (and seems to play up more when they change it). Glad you got it fixed 🤗
Thank you for the lovely comment! Yeah the cricut seems to forever be doing an update! If it isn’t a problem with the sensor lines, it’s design space playing up! I can’t wait to get them manufactured, will save so much time and stress!
One tip you didn't try was using sharpie on the registration lines. I've done it before and it worked. But looks like you got it working by cleaning the sensor. How nerve wracking to have to take it apart! 😬 now I'm wondering if I should do the same 🤣 I am so happy to see you back on TH-cam! Can't wait for the next vlog 😁
Ohhh no i didn’t try the sharpie! Do you draw over it carefully or colour it in? I’m still at my wits end with though haha I just wasted so much time! Can’t wait to get them sent off and throw my cricut out the window! 🤣
@@fizzandflourish I use a ruler to try and just darken the black lines. It has worked and it also hasn't. Sometimes closing the program and shutting down the machine helps too. I don't know why it's so buggy. I even decided to buy a maker and it's definitely better then my explore air. But still finicky. I need a better printer I think is my issue. My printer doesn't like the thick paper so it's always a little off like not straight? And since the cricut is basing the cutting off those not straight lines then my cuts are off. 😭 it's pretty annoying lol I've been tempted to try out a silhouette but I've seen people struggle with that too. And I don't want to learn a new program 🤣 sorry this was so long winded 🤣💕

Love your blogs so much, in relation to the circuit which I have also got and had a while, try carrying out a firmware update on it if you go to circuit website it explains the steps but you plug it into usb to your computer and carry out firmware update. I am happy to help and guide through if needed as I have only just found out this is a thing 😊

Not a silly question! My website is best because Etsy charge lots of fees! But, if you’re international then Etsy is best for you, because they charge you the customs up front (complex I know! 🤦🏻♀️😂) xx
