Mad that bands where all on the smack and charlie from the start but i remember how overblown the anti ecstasy campaign was. It was only to try and stop the illegal raves really and push the young back to the bars buying drink other than bottled water and it worked, E's in the 90's were unreal, burgers, china whites,Mitsubishis,apples. I remember them being £ 18 a pop sometimes more but lasted the night then they ended up 50p and cut with allsorts, thats what really ruined it, you couldnt trust the pill anymore. 90's drugs were far better even the weed, todays has lost something in the genetics so its just high thc and mongs you out but doesn't have you up making mad plans or writing music like it used to. £3 for an acid though was unreal and being so cheap it was alot of kids first drug, i did it at 11 and loved it, tripping at school and getting into painfull uncontrollable laughing fits drooling like a spastic with a toffee
