I’m the same way with knitting plans…I will push back against them! Why do I do that?!😂And I also love vanilla socks. They are my go-to and I often have to remind myself I can, and like, to knit other things, and things that are not just stockinette. Love your podcast!

We like camping and hiking in the summer time. Really like the yarn you used on the hat.

I’m a nurse practitioner in the UK and long for the day I can do something different but with family & bills to pay here I am. Knitting has been a god send & I love your channel I find it so calming. You mentioned in a previous video about minimalism & how it’s not a natural thing for you. I’m the same so was wondering if you’d consider talking more about how you incorporate that into your life any tips/ideas very welcome here ☺️

I love the Montana yarn! I have a daughter in West Yellowstone and we just returned home from a visit. Was able to stop at Stix in Bozeman which is an amazing shop!

Hi new subscriber here! I found you by watching "what's in your knitting bag" or "what's in your notions pouch" videos and so decided to watch one of your latest "normal" format of your podcast and really enjoyed it. I have thought about trying to knit 2 at a time socks as well but i have been considering trying them on 2 circular needles (that is my preferred method for knitting in the round for smaller circumference) I have tried magic loop and just didn't really enjoy it. I do love love the colors of your gift self striping mans sock!! oh and congratulations on hitting over the 5,000 subscribers woo hoo!

Nice to see you again😌 so enjoying knitting and watching your podcast. I have never knit with a cashmere blend but it sounds delightful! Please share more about your gardening and herbs!

I made a mussleburgh hat and started and ripped out the beginning at least three or four times before I was satisfied with it. Now that I have‘gotten’ it figured it out I will make more because I live in a very cold winter area.

It's always so nice to see a video from you!
Your videos are very informative and that's wonderful.
I was a vegan/naturalist/herbalist/etc. then as the years past my body didn't much care for any of it. Now at 72, I'm back to square one. 🤗 Much like Marie Kondo, I've figured if it works & brings joy keep it, if it doesn't then drop it like a hot potato.🥔😅
Be good to yourself ~ All the best ~ hugs Lacy💕

Another great podcast and I was so glad to hear about your herbs study and love. I have taken a few herbalism classes and have always tended to herbs or more natural medicine in place of pharmaceuticals if at all possible. What a great thing to integrate with your nurse practice. Lovely socks and new yarn this month.
Looking forward to the new episodes.

Regarding two at a time socks on magic loop... I've found that my choice of needles makes the biggest difference in how easily the stitches move on them. I prefer Chiaogoo fixed length US1s... there is barely any resistance. Good luck!

Love it when a new episode of yours pops up… but it says it was 9 days ago…. What? I just realized I was not Subscribed!!! No worries- I fixed that!!😊 New Subscriber here!!! I love your blanket!!! Makes me want to learn to crochet! I enjoy knitting socks too, they have become my comfort knit! Usually have a sweater and blanket going too… sometimes I wonder if I would get more finished if I were a monogamous knitter!?

Every time I watch your channel, I get so much out of it! My daughter & I are very much into holistic remedies and learning everyday more and more about nutrition and fueling our bodies with natural, whole foods. I had never heard of the book, “ Body into Balance”. I immediately put a hold on it at my local library! Thank you for the mention! ❤ If possible, I would love to hear more about your “magic potions” and tinctures that you mix up and what other sources you use. Thank you 😊

Hi Nicole. I live in Ohio as well and noticed you mentioned feeling low energy. The pollutants we are breathing from the Canadian fires have been bad this summer. If we spend time outside, we usually come in with a headache, coughing, and sometimes burning eyes. We are big campers as well, and canceled our July camping trip. I monitor our weather and if it’s yellow or orange try to stay inside. Hope you feel better soon!

Thats a gorgeous bag you you made. I identify with your 🧦 colors. Although I have a recent addiction to KnittedWitt National Park sock yarn colors. Also its squishy and soft. We are going camping in August.

I do crochet but appreciate watching your knitting as well. I love the variety in the very pretty socks you make. Just curious since you mentioned them going into your gift stash. Do sock recipients generally understand and appreciate the work that goes into making a pair? Enjoy your vacation.

Hi I have just started the Musselburgh hat too after watching the same tutorial. I was wondering did you use magic loop to knit the hat?

    • @ThePineCottage
      @ThePineCottage  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

No, I used circulars, and then transferred to a larger cord once it was needed. 😊

I don’t think you will be happy with No short rows on your sweater. I made one and did not like the fit, but perhaps she has a way to raise the back that will help.

Thank you! Well, now that I’ve used it, I will never knit another hat or scarf that isn’t at least 10% cashmere. It makes a huge difference for me! But if you’re not sensitive to wool, whatever fingering weight yarn speaks to you! 😊 It does take almost the full 100g. Have fun!!
