I thought that their voices resonated perfectly, and the skating added another layer of wonder to the whole performance. How often do you get a chance to witness three people possessed of such exquisite talent, as well as physical beauty? It is truly breathtaking.....like you, Missunaturally, I had chicken skin (what we call goose bumps here in Hawaii)
Aida and Dimash are both capable of genuine operatic singing. Lara, not so much, she's a pop singer in style. Her vibrato, compared to the other two, is weak in the operatic mode. But I have no complaints - it sounds wonderful regardless. There's nothing wrong with Lara's pitch or control; she blends well, as you'd expect of a singer of her vast accomplishments. What's stunning to me is how good Dimash is in the baritone register. Given his range, one might suspect that he'd be more at home in the tenor register, but... he confounds us again. Other than true bass and maybe yodeling, he's a master anywhere within his range. And I'm none too sure he can't yodel!
Indeed! Though he does go down to a C2 (I think in Love Of Tired Swans?) I've always seen him as a natural tenor, albeit with a hugely developed range - but considering how young he is in terms of male classical singers, he's got at least a decade to further mature that already-glorious voice... so as always with Dimash, we cannot rule anything out! After all, I think he comes pretty close to a yodel in Sinful Passion, as well as in a few of his earlier CIS-language songs , so...!😮😮😮
