This Accord was already better then the Camry prior to the refresh IMHO.

Just bought this car in red and I love it!! Only thing that I don’t like is that it has no heated seats or sunroof but I can look past that. Also doesn’t have remote start up. The car rides smooth and it’s so beautiful. I get a lot of compliments on it! ❤️
The SE edition should have had a sunroof

Nice review. As a 2020 Sport 1.5t owner, not many differences on the 2021 that make me feel behind. I actually prefer the older fog lights. The 1.5t in sport mode not slow, especially in sport mode. Enough power for me. If I wanted something faster I would've purchased a faster car. This is the best bang for your buck.

I'm actually so glad that they added this SE version. In the models with the sunroof, my head rubbed the headliner, but I felt like the Sport was missing just a few too many features, mostly the remote start and proximity entry.
This is nice. It's fascinating how Honda brought back the Sport SE trim and I was blown away with the new chime. I thought they were gonna stick with the low pitched one. It's a nice chime regardless. Thank you Car Confections, keep up the good work
The refreshed chime makes me thankful I bought mine before the change!
I personally think this accord looks better than the camry and its got more space....only thing this vehicle is missing is 4WD..

Yeah they should've tinted the them as well and also provided a full brake lights across all models and not just the Touring. Full LEDs would've been nice but I know there are aftermarket bulbs that exist.
I wish they looked more similar to the taillights on my 10th gen civic. Shit looks like a spaceship from the back lmao
@@Saturdayz_In_The_Fall those are the ugliest tail lights ever put on a car. The last gen accord had way better looking lights. In fact fact, last gen was their best looking accord ever. There is nothing beautiful about these lobster claws on the current accord.

I bought the 2020 Honda Accord Sport 1.5t back in December 2019. I LOVE this car! I wish it came with a moonroof BUT I am strongly considering having one installed. The 2021 looks very similar to my 2020. But it's definitely a great buy.

I would've traded leather seating for a sunroof and rear vents. Honda messed up on this Sports Special Edition. If this was supposed to replace the EX then at least give it EX features not start from the LX smh.
I'm sad to see that they didn't just give US buyers the full brake lights on all the models with this refresh. It looks like it might be reserve for the Touring model again. I also don't like the added chrome to the grille, it's so ugly and remind me of how their older cars use to be.
Also wireless AA & Carplay is also on the Sports 2.0T.

I see Honda took the Sonata & Camry approach with the black mirror caps.
I wish they tinted the tail lights, at least for the Sport trim.

@@volcalstone yeah, it looks pretty damn good if you're careful though. Did 50% on the turn/reverse lights on my Touring. It looks great, has held up for over a year, and it's removable in 2 minutes.

So I checked the Honda site and you can get the 2.0 engine in the sport but not the sport se. That makes zero sense

The 2.0 Sport has sunroof and everything else the se has except full leather. I’d rather have the faux leather and sunroof than the se. doesn’t make sense they didn’t add it as an option to have a sunroof in the se.

Besides wireless android auto on some trims and rear usb. I'm not feeling bad about my 2020
The design came out two years ago, not much to refresh. In comparison, Toyota takes a long time to update their vehicles and their refreshes are even more incognito.

Just traded in my 2020 Camry SE for a 2022 Accord Sport SE identical to this one. Major upgrade from my Camry and I am so happy with this change of car! Love my Accord.
Quick tip: You should put the sound level meter in front of your head because that where your ears at and that will make your readings more accurate

I just got the sport 2.0t and I love it.
I hated mine .. 2019 EXL 2.0 .turbo leaked oil and seals are bad about going out ... Honda dealership advisor told me when I had in for repairs at 6,500 miles . I ditched it ...I was over it ! It just the beginning of turning into a Lemon..

I love these sport wheels . At first I thought they changed them but now I see that was only the hybrid .
Big thing for me is that the SE sport 1.5 does not have a black headliner like the 1.5 sport or the 2.0 sport

If you can please review the 2021 Accord Sport 2.0T that would be awesome! Also why didn't Honda add a two tone color option? A lot of the competition offer it. I still don't like the taillights and exhaust tips to be honest.

The front and rear stabilizer bars are actually smaller, although not by much, in the Sport SE than they are in the regular Sport and Touring. If you are going to make this a "Sport" variant, then use the stabilizer bars from the Sport and not the EX.
Honda did the same thing with the brakes too.

That’s interesting that this model has the auto start/stop disable feature. I have a ‘19 1.5T Sport and it doesn’t have auto start/stop at all.

This was a very informative video. I currently have a 2019 2.0 Sport. I do like some of the added features for the Sport SE, but not enough to upgrade just yet. I do wish that Honda would increase the gas tank size for the Accord for longer range, also a better sound system because the stock system sucks.

Honda messed up with this update. The Sport and Sport SE aren't making any differneces with even similar price. If I were them I would make this model as the regular Sport, and put the 2.0 turbo on and make it as Sport SE. And that is so called SPECIAL EDITION!
Agree .. it doesn’t make sense as touring is the only option to have leather seats with 2.0
In the past the Special Edition Accords haven’t been very fancy though either. Mostly just badging and a couple other small features. This is very in-line with what they’ve been doing on the Accord for the past 15 years or so. That’s said, I agree on this being messed up. I don’t like the way Honda does their trims. Also isn’t it weird that the Sport SE comes with leather, but the Sport 2.0T doesn’t??

I have a 2017 and the continental tires have beads on them that touches the rims. This makes the tires have an awful squealing sound. Are the tires different on this newer model?

I’d get this over a Camry
For me this would be a no contest compared to the Camry, especially in lower trims. The lower trims of most Toyotas have a cheap feel to them overall.

Almost bought the 2.0 with the 6 speed manual earlier this year. I would’ve done it if I had known they were dropping the manual for 2021.
I bought a 2020 sport 2.0 6speed manual at the first of the year glad I didn't wait another year. The 10 speed auto is nice but the manual is way more fun to me

They replaced EX with Sport SE, and deleted a couple features- no sunroof, and no rear ventilation (a big one for me being in Texas). Now you get leather and heated seats instead. Also I thought it was weird seeing that the Sport SE doesn’t come with the blacked out headliner found in the other sport models.
The head liner not being black really bothers me. Just throws off the whole interior

Absolutely
It drives so well, so I can forgive it for the ugly rear end design and that chrome bar in the front. But I am wishing that Honda would apply the sleek design of the Insight to the Accord. Its on par with a Mazda, so no other complaints.

My sister has this accord and my cousin has the same year Camry and the accord is better in every way except maybe a little more road noise on the accord Camry has a annoying delay from when you press the gas peddle to when it responds to your foot it’ll drive you crazy in city driving

I test drove a 2020 Camry SE and 2020 Honda Accord EX back to back and the difference, at least to me was like night and day. The Accord was so much more refined, quieter, comfortable, higher quality (perceived and otherwise) and more solid. Cost cutting is embarrassingly evident in the Camry in several areas. I once owned a 1999 Camry LE V-6 (back then you could get the V-6 in lower trims) and it was a great car. It was solid, well engineered with a high quality interior. Back then it was basically a slightly de-contented Lexus ES300. Today, Toyota's are so different. Interior quality in particular has dropped significantly and they're not as refined as they once were. Accord for the win by a long shot!

Looks like the 2021 Accord has a digital Speedometer in Mph. Any way to get that on 2020 version? Is there a software update that I can install?
Don’t think the speedometer changed for 2021... still analog.
