i work at a print shop, one way to do it is squeegee down the middle as you pull the paper. that way it's flat in at least one area. even if it wrinkles it's better to lose 1 or 2 stickers than a whole sheet. always overlap squeegee stroke in a straight line pushing air outwards
Bro!!! You are a lifesaver!!! I have same type of paper and I printed directly on it thinking I just did that and cut it then read laminate your sticker before putting in I had no idea. This video was perfect!!! Thank you so much!!! Gonna try again
You should cut it down to size so it fits INSIDE the registration marks. Ive heard of the sensor not working right when the reg. marls are too glossy or obstucted
There are fixes for this, some people put tape matte tape along the lines of the reg marks, some people put tape over the sensors, but if you have a cricut maker 3 and you select holographic, sometimes it’s okay, other times you may have to kinda stay in front of the light to make sure there is no reflection. Although not ideal, it’s still fine to do this.
@@meejay100 yes I'm aware of the bandaids. But why set your self up to possibly fail, when an extra 10 seconds of cutting the sheet slightly smaller will ensure 0 problems?
@@The505productions I am not not disagreeing with that point. A few extra secs to make life easier. But it is also good to make people aware that there are other methods too for fixes incase they did not do this. Or in the case of glossy stickers, the cricut would find it difficult regardless of how you apply the laminate. What’s interesting is that some other vinyl cutters do not have this issue at all. Which I am planning on investing in, eventually.
It's not a Cricut or silhouette, the machine can read the registration or you can even do it manually. I use a siser Juliet which is very similar to the machine he's using.
A Siser Juliet requires no bandaids and it can cut small, detailed things quite precisely. I had a hell of a time with a Cameo 4 and I loveeee my Juliet. Keep an eye out for sales if you're ever interested.
I’m new to this; like day two and less than 24hrs of getting my first ever cricut; I feel so lucky of having come across this 🙏 god is real and he is a perv cause he must watching 😬
1. Genius I've been doing it for months now 2. U should wait or at least REALLY MAKE SURE the ink is completely dry or you'll smudge and ruin Good material
Does your sticker adhere well after adding the laminate? I did my first one with plain laminate and it does adhere the best to my bottle. The laminate wants to come off the top of one of the labels 😢 I also love the laminate your using ❤❤
Only if you're using a not great machine. The machine used here is a Solo, which is very similar in build to a Siser Juliet that I use. It cuts no problem with laminate over the reg lines and cuts super precise and small when you need it.
Is this a cold laminate film or is there a regular laminate that is neither cold or hot? Because I’ve been wondering if I need to buy a machine for a cold laminate
This is self-adhering laminate. Cold laminate is two sheets enclosing the sticker sheet, and it is pressed between rollers. I use self-adhering laminate for my stickers and it works great for me!
why does it look so easy? 😭 my success rate is 4/20 😢
Me too lol been at it for months might go back to how i did it before. dont wanna keep wasting my sheets
same mine ends up with so many bubbles that I can't get out ;-;

Love this!!!
What scraper tool do you use? Everything I've tried scratches the laminate

Cool thanks !!
You make it look so easy 😭
Can the sheets be heated up?
Thank you! 🥹
Thank you😊
how abt the finger print?

Thank you!!!!! I was becoming so frustrated!
where did you find that laminate sheet i like the glow effect
So bro i did this but the censor cant detect it
the sensor doesn't read the black lines when you overlay the whole page though.

What is the name of product
Mine has bubbles every time even after smoothing it like he did 😢
Does laminating your stickers save the hassle of having to wait for the ink to dry on the paper or do you still need to wait for the ink to dry ?
does anyone know where i can find that kind of sheet
Amazon, or sometimes office supply stores. Search for "holographic self adhesive laminate"
why does mine still come out crooked? 😩
Can you tell Where to buy the sheet please
X2
I’ve used the ones from amazon ☺️
what do you use? I use avery and its bubbles every freaking time! no matter what?! what paper and laminate do you use!?
and its not scratch proof!!

@@saintnikz that is such a helpful definition of the different kinds of lamination. Thank you so much for the information.
It's going to take some practice for me. But the general idea is working. Learning game I suppose.
I wish it was that easy for me
Same!!! I already waisted about 5 🙃
