Can you try Pan'o'rama next time?
Real civil engineering lives in London
0/10 no knob monsters
Is it just me or did that sponsorship segment lack a funny segue into it?
Thank you so much for playing my game, Matt, it's an honor! And thank you everyone enjoying the video and the game, it makes me super happy! (Also hexagons are bestagons!)
The walking around is a nice touch. Sadly I don't have a pc so I can't enjoy(unless I missed a console port in the future 😉😉)
This game is absolutely adorable, I love the cartoony style, the saturation of the colors, and how the points scheme works. What a wonderful creation you've made. You should be so proud of what you've made.
Cool game dude, I don't really like hex tile games but yours is super interesting
Thank you for proving a great game for all and RCE to play ♥️
I do hope you'll do a mobile port one day, because it looks right up my alley ^^
RCE: *sees 276 the first time* na I think I’ll set up a “perfect”
RCE: *sees the same 276* aww sweet. 276!
I'm just pulling my hair out each time he gets a "can go anywhere" tile and instead of unlocking 6 tiles anywhere he builds it adjacent to existing stuff and getting 2-3 new tiles. Especially near the end when he was complaining about his lack of options I wanted to grab him mouse from him :p
@@photoo848 When he got the golden tile he was really excited about getting 130 points. At 07:15 you can briefly see the gap just below would have given 156 points.
Yeah also 10:54
@@Xeridanus cause he's planning to put the field in there. 08:23 he got more points
I really like town builders, it's so cool watching people walk around, following cars, trains, but walking around in there is another level! Super cool, props to the dev!
In urbek city builder you can walk around your city from the view point of a citizen too, and I can confirm that such a viewpoint is very satisfying to look at the town or city you built from.
ohh, cool, I'll look into that game!@@mpkki2499
Thank you so much!
@@mpkki2499you can do it in cities skylines
Back on original Playstation their port of Sim City you're able to drive around!
Might want to try to use refreshes on tiles for the golden hexes
Every City builder game or anything similar should have a walk around mode. Its such an obvious addition to games like this.
Props to the solo dev
Class video RCE but a sad lack of bridges in this game
Imagine the type of building that reeeeally likes being near bridges...
@@vladislavdonchev1271 bridges like being with other other bridges unless they are built by architechs
Dorfromantik gives you perfect tile bonus retroactively, meaning you will get it if you surround existing tile with 6 appropriate new tiles.
My family and I went to the museum in Jacksonville, FL today for my birthday and we went over the Main Street bridge. I've always loved big bridges and I got excited and I thought of you lol. That might be a good bridge for your real bridges series. 😊
I'd like to see another video of this. This is an interesting game.
HEXAGON ARE THE BESTAGONS!!
I see that there's a GCP Grey fan here
I wondered if anyone else had noticed that!
If you want a more traditional city builder where you can walk around your city, there’s an iOS game called “Pocket City 2” that’s pretty great. You can even fly around on a hang glider.
4:27
Imagine having glass walls?? Is Matt okay?! That's architect talk! D:
Placed that farm in the golden spot for 130...missed out on the 156 slot at 7:15 🤷🏻♂
Yes, I saw that too.
The game looks great, but idk I feel like there are so many of these now. It's like with the vampire survivor clones. You just see them everywhere, new ones every week.
Are we going to ignore the fact that RCE just took a 72 over a 144 because 144 wasn't 200?
This reminds me of Mars Horizon, and the section where you expand your space-launch facilities and you get bonuses in exactly this way.
Really cool game. Neat twist!
From a single dev? Impressive. Looks and sounds nice and the gameplay loop appears really addictive. Sadly no mac version for me, but you can't have everything, I suppose.
Walls, made from glass? sounds like architecture to me
As long as it's supported by trusses or arches to bear the load of the building, then it's just weatherproofing your structure, and then it counts as engineering, right?
But then, I'm both an artist and an engineer, which is suspiciously close to the path of the architect, so maybe that's exactly what an architect would want you to think?
@@KidarWolf feel like if u explain u wanna be able to c the trusses even from the inside and the windows are necessary u might just scrap past with only a few raised eye brows
Dorfromantik got released as aa actual board game. Soooo waiting for that video.
I'ma ber honest, When RCE misread Ranger Camp as Banger Camp, I imagined a different kind of sausage with a bit of a stronger shape to it. Then I imagined a camp where they make great music, and it wasn't until he mentioned sausages that I remembered that they call some sausages that across the pond.
RCE you should play a game on the channel called Kingdoms and Castles, I think it’s a perfect game for your content
I love RCE and hexagon games
fun little game! went and bought it before finishing the video and played a few levels. Got 9411 in level 1 ;)
this game looks so cool
"There are also people wandering around!" *with no eyes*
All the walls made of glass? Sounds like architecture....
Had the idea to make a game like this and someone beat me to it lol, glad I'm not the only one that can think like this.
Day seventeen of asking Matt to add the Second Narrows Bridge, Ironworkers Memorial to the Wheel of Bridgetune
It is a cantilevered truss bridge, carrying 6 lanes of traffic from Vancouver to North Vancouver in B.C. across the second narrowing of the Burrard Inlet.
It's name comes from the fact that it collapsed twice during construction, which unalived 23 people in total (Hence the name, ironworkers memorial).
You should play more of this game
"Hexagons are Bestagons"
Im planning on sending you a super thanks soon, keep up the good work!
I think you'd like a game called "Urbek city builder", which is as more of a puzzle game than a city builder. It exploits the overlapping effects of building to ludicrous degrees. Made by a solo developer
When he got the golden tile he was really excited about getting 130 points. At 07:15 you can briefly see the gap just below would have given 156 points. 🤦♂
I hope this game comes to the quest it would be great in vr
Great video
Please play Anno 1800 pls, it also have first person mode. You can build city and feel it also...
In Citystate 2 you can drive around in your car and explore your towns as well if you want. But it’s not like this hex game type. Its Style is somewhere between Urbek and Cities XXL
Reminds me of old versions of simcity where you could build a whole city, then fly through it in simcopter or drive through it in streets of sim city... Good times.
(... Reticulating splines...)
Matt you should check out Home Wind. It's like this but with cute 2-D graphics and a bit more freedom with where you can place structures.
If the video of tomorrow is not timberborners i will die of death.
Love ur vids man
how the _ did you manage to get stuck fenced in with the cow, in a game without any collisions? o.O
Circles > Hexagons > Triangles > Squares > Ovals > 3D shapes > 1D shapes
Could you countinue the Hadroneer serie, I like it a lot.
Banger Camp💀
"Okay, so schools don't like being next to eachother, good to know"

It’s always best to be alone whilst playing with your tackle
Let's do an another one pleeeaaassseee !
MaTT! Third to first person switching was first used in Gungeon Keeper in 1997
Some see an engineer telling them to join the way of light and very strong shapes some see a cloaked figure in a back alley speaking in a gruff voice telling them to join the architect side then there's this game that throws both out the window efficiency beauty neither matter just get the points
hexagons are bestagons
Hi Matt !!
"hexagons are bestagons" someone's a cgp grey fan 😂
The shrine looks more like an outhouse.
They should add an ability to move or remove tiles, or at least to bank buildings for later. My biggest problem with these kinds of games.
I am "Incendiário" in second place =)
9027 on that level, though that's only a ranking in the 500's now...
15:57 Pov you accidentally go into their vault of ice
Was recommended this video, which I missed, after watching the Tile Lands video... is this game made by the same dev? just with the other one potentially more mobile-friendly?
Play with their tackle 😅😂
have you checked out "The Enjenir" yet?
The cows do have eyes. The people however do not. Surely this is more disturbing Matt
Can i build strongest shapes in brixity?
i was skipping the sponser until i heard him say this- 1:14

There is no point doing perfects. It is all the same points.
Not true, you get 2x points if the tile is placed in between 6 positively-scoring tiles!
@onegoosearmy Oh, sorry I didn't realize that. But I still think placing the tiles in the best (most points) place is better.
@@barancemcesme3903 In some situations it is, in some it's not. But to get a really high score, you do need to get a lot of these perfect placements - that's one of the main strategies for the game! :) You will not get a huge score if you just place it in the current highest-scoring tile, that would be too easy. This way there is more strategy involved.
