    Haven't watched entire video yet in case you show a possible way to bypass and install inline links in setup but my main issue is the black plug the wires want to come loose from it

    Hey do you possibly know a reliable source to order the plug and fuse links that have to be attached to positive terminal for power to everything mine is worn out and will jar loose from time to time it's a 87 z24i I have several hardbody parts trucks but it's the one item I can't seem to find exactly same setup

      Here's the link for the fusible links. Which plug do you mean?

    So which connection charges the battery? Im having a issue where the alternator is good but its not charging the battery

    • @almagam2099
      @almagam2099  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I re-researched the wiring harness for the alternator! The two prong connector (with 1 yellow wire and one White wire) is what we need to look at!
      The yellow wire feeds into the dash!
      The white wire feeds back and might split off into two white wires the should connect to a fusible link by the battery!
      1 of those white wires is the one that charges the battery!
      If we know that your alternator is good?!...and not the problem! Then it might be either the white wire that charges the battery or the fusible link itself, that is bad?!...or maybe both could be bad?!
      Try testing the fusible link for power! And peel back the loom for the white wire! See if there's any type of damage to it!

    My connector to my alternator is broken from inside the connector so I’m going to try and male to female to connect the alternator without the connector

      That's a good idea. If you ever spot another d21 at the junkyard. See if you can get that harness connector from that d21 and splice it onto your d21's harness

    I hate to tell you but that wire on the solenoid is not a ground the engine block is the ground the small wire on the solenoid is a momentary power to start the engine

    Hey man having trouble with my 86 and thought that the fusible links may be the issue but I’m not sure. It has a new battery new alternator but not a sound or click when key is in ON position just dead silence..What could this be?

    • @almagam2099
      @almagam2099  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Is your d21 a. Manual? If so look behind the clutch pedal. There's the neutral safety switch. If it's going bad or has gone bad, it'll cause your exact situation.
