I just bought the Automatic H900ATN. It’s absolutely beautiful I recommend you try this one; you won’t deny the Swiss made functionality!
I will point out that Elvis Presley was known to have owned a Mathey-Tissot at one point. I like the watches in their heritage collection. They offer a vintage inspired automatic chronograph for $850 that is made with the Valjoux 7750. Probably one of the most affordable ways to get a swiss made auto chrono
Also Robert Dinero wore one in the movie Kill the Irishman

I have the Mathey tissot date just homage. It has a sw 200 movement with a brown textile dial, and sapphire crystal. It is an excellent watch, and the power reserve keeps up with some of my high end watches. You have to buy their automatic offerings. They have much better build quality, and they are absolutely built in Switzerland with Swiss parts. They are a respected brand in Switzerland. You just bought their cheap quartz. Their automatics are an absolute steal.

Mathey-Tissot is basically another victim of the quartz crisis.
I have an addiesdive 1970 from Amazon. It's less than $110 before tax and still my choice in the $100 range.
Mathey Tissot follows a well worn business model…build a handful of good Swiss mechanicals which is probably ten percent of their sales and then mass produce tandoorio like watches in china and sell them for decent profit. No big surprises here.

They sold them on ideal shopping channel They call them the roley they made automatic version of these for £250
One really obvious issue is why oh why put a 24hr bezel on watch without a 24hr hand…. Could have used the Ronda 24h movement for a few francs more. Just as useless as a tachymeter bezel without the stopwatch using the big second hand…
They actually originated from the same family each of them establishing a pocket watch company in the 1850s.
MT mechanical watches, are quiet good pieces. Quartz is on the regular side of market. Like many others Swiss companys

It's so ridiculous when watches have a 24 hour bezel with no 24 hour hand. It's pointless. If you want to track a second time zone, use a 12 hour bezel. Useless. And that cursive "vintage" print on the dial, omg, that is extremely bad. Just horrible.
That's a yardwork ⌚, nothing more.
Oh, you could go out to the 🏜️ and hone your 🏹 skills mounting to a 🎯.
