I appreciate everyone’s concern over my sweet husband not doing anything. He in fact is doing EXACTLY everything I asked him to do. I do not like being fussed over during labor and I specifically asked him to just be close by if I need him. We’ve done this plenty of times for him to know what I like. I kindly ask that you recognize that this is MY birth and not yours so please don’t expect what I want to be the same as you. Thanks for understanding ❤️
This!! I hate being touched at all even when o was throwing during pregnancy I did not like when he was next to me I need space and that’s okay , and don’t let anyone tell us it’s not. We all Don’t need to be rubbed and fussed over ❤❤ sending you love
After having just experienced my first natural labor and delivery a couple days ago, what you think you’ll want during labor is often completely different from what you actually end up wanting in the moment. I thought I wanted my husband massaging me and giving me affirming words, but when I was in the throws of active labor, I didn’t want to really be touched nearly as much as I thought I would. I completely tuned the world out and turned inward, and outside interruption of that was very unwanted. All that to say, I know where you’re coming from!! Congratulations on your beautiful baby boy ❤
Some woman just want them there in presence to feel safe and secure and if something starts going wrong then they want them to step in. Some woman are just very independent and that is their birth plan. And congratulations for them both and for him to staying true to her wishes. What a beautiful thing congratulations
The way I cried just hearing your story of the many angels you've lost!!! May God bless & protect each & every day of this baby's life. Yours & the rest of your family as well.
I’m crying!! Gideon was so happy it was a boy! ❤😂 I’m a labor and delivery nurse and you can imagine the doctors and nurses would not allow something so wonderful!! EXCEPT once ! And I was there. The mother demanded her way and got it. I was giddy! Thank you for sharing this with all of us. So so sweet!! Congratulations to the family!!
Oh my goodness he was SO excited 🤣 I birthed my first in the hospital and when I got into the bed I immediately wanted to be up and squatting, holding onto the squatting bar above the bed. I was just moments away from pushing and my body wanted to be up. The midwife told me that just looking at me made HER knees hurt(I was in a deep squat) and she told me I had to lay back. GOSH!!! I wish I had just ignored her. She broke my water, which now I know was completely unnecessary, AND they gave me pitocin, even though I specifically told them I did not want it. And to think that my experience was a fairly positive experience as a hospital birth. But you can imagine how fun it was having my SCREAMING self in the hospital 🤣🤣 my sisters were down the hall and said the heard me 🤣🤣
That is similar to my first birth as well! Why on earth do they still insist you labor on your back??? If they would have had me up and squatting or on a birthing stool, our son would have been born just fine. Instead his heartbeat kept dropping with each contraction, and they told us they had to use a vacuum thing on his head or do a csection. Praise God the vacuum thing worked, he was fine from it, and we did not end up with a csection. But all that is the very reason we had the next 4 at home and the 6th at a birth center (due my husband having health issues and not able to assist with it at home again). Lord willing, we will be delivering our 7th in May at home as well!!❤
good job mama, i relived every single moment with you, after a lot of heartache i finally gave birth to my one and only daughter, amazing ,thankyou for sharing xx
It’s amazing how all the feelings come rushing back when you see and hear those labor sounds. Man, every single birth I watch I can’t help but get emotional. I’m so glad you enjoyed it ❤️❤️
Thank you 🥰 Childbirth is definitely the most difficult thing I have done. But so was miscarrying all those babies, so that makes the pain absolutely worth it. ❤️
This has me in pure tears 😭 I cant express how much your delivery & dedication has touched my heart ❤️!! Im so over the moon happy for the whole family!! The description you gave about all your losses & about God showing you each one as you were bringing a new life into the world absolutely touched me!! Im a Mom of five & I lost one of my angels 👼🏻 at 12 weeks pregnant!! I totally understood what you were feeling at that exact moment in time 😢😢 I just came across your channel this morning!! Im so thankful I did!! God Thank you for this beautiful family ❤❤& just know You all are in my thoughts & Prayers ❤️🙏🏻 as you heal & begin anew with your seven beautiful children ❤❤
Bless you, dear lady!! Your children are so beautiful. Congratulations to you and your whole family for this precious gift God has given you to love and cherish.
Congratulations to you and your family on the birth of your sweet boy, i have watched many home births on line, and have to say you are one of the strongest ladies i have come across, God was certainly guiding you through the birth process, here is to making so many happy memories with your family in the years to come
Amazing. Simply amazing. Thank you for sharing your birth story. What an intimate and vulnerable experience we women have the pleasure to go through. God bless you, your little one and your family.
Congratulations to all of you. Your baby is beautiful and all your kids are so adorable. What a sweet way your 1st son Gideon reacted! I’m so glad I found your channel. God bless all of you.
Thank you so much! Oh my goodness he was so stinking happy 🤣 and funny enough, my youngest(who just turned 4) said it from the very beginning. “Moms having a baby boy!”. She proclaimed it so boldly that people assumed we knew 🤣🤣🤣

Thank you so much ❤️ It is definitely a bit terrifying to share such a vulnerable moment with everyone but I think it’s such a beautiful story of God’s love.
Thanks for this ❤️ I was very hesitant to share such intimate moments but I was hopeful it would encourage and bless others. Sadly people are really hating on my sweet husband for “just standing there” when that’s what I specifically asked him to do 😢 I guess that’s what I get for sharing things to the public.
OMG, i was crying watching this video. My 2 births (girls) were by c-section w/my husband right behind my left shoulder. Our God is truly amazing. Theodore James is beautiful. I love his name. Congratulations.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing this precious time at the end of your pregnancy with us. I have never had children, so what you are going through is quite unfamiliar to me. But it also seems very natural and sacred and in some way familiar to me. It’s hard to explain. I’m awed by the process of bringing a new life into the world. I hope you won’t take offense at this! But in yielding and deep awareness you are so beautiful! A mammal, completely guided by instinct..but with prayers of gratitude for all your experiences and memories of your life as a woman. God bless beautiful you, your beautiful baby boy, and your whole beautiful family!

Oh wow, Leigh. What an amazing video. 🥲 Even though you were in agony there at the end, you did so well managing it. I think the cows were empathizing, lol. 🤣🤣 And cheering you on! I’ve watched a couple of other birth stories, but yours caused me to tear up. Thanks for sharing this special time. You’ve worked really hard the past few months, and all your plans and study helped this go smoothly. Then when you did all you could do prayerfully, you kept praying to get through the birth and be present. I think this is a lesson for all of us regardless of the situation. All your videos about your pregnancy with Theodore James are a wonderful testimony of faith. Thanks so much for sharing this. 🙏❤🌻🌷🌸
Thanks 🥰 What a wild journey LOL. From mourning the last loss being our last baby, to expecting to miscarry this one, to the “prolonged” pregnancy… man, God definitely keeps me on my toes 🤣🤣 I can’t wait to hear about your up and coming birth ❤️❤️❤️
I also went through years of fertility treatments without success and we ultimately adopted our child from abroad. The words you spoke about being grateful to even be in labor, including the pain of labor, helped me to realize that I’m grateful for the difficulties of raising a teenager. 😂 This may sound silly but it’s been a difficult season and your words reminded me to be grateful for her and that it’s just part of parenting a child. God bless you and your sweet family. 🙏
Aw I’m so glad it blessed you. Yes, these older years can be so challenging. We need to remember our purpose in this process for these children ❤️ Easier said than done!
CONGRATS!!! I never went past 36 weeks in my pregnancies, I couldn’t imagine 5 more weeks!!! Well done Momma! Your baby was 2 weeks past due date and only 7. 1/2 lbs. my son was 4 weeks early and was 9 lbs!! I was told he probably would have been over 10 lbs if I went to term!! God knew he needed to come early.
WOW!!!!! 😆 I couldn’t even imagine him full term. I know I was shocked that Theo was as little as he was at 42 weeks. I definitely thought with all this prodromal labor that I’d go early… wishful thinking I guess 🤣
Wonderful video. I had two c-sections and have never seen a birth all the way through or even had a contraction. I have to say that I don’t know how women do it ! ❤ beautiful family.
Thanks ❤️ It’s definitely unlike anything else I’ve experienced. I think the most beautiful moment in life is the second you have that last contraction and baby comes up to your chest. In an instant all your pain is gone and you are overcome with a rush of emotions. It’s unreal 🥹
oh my gosh! can i just say your birth was just wonderful and the most heartening birth ive ever seen! good job you did so well mama, your bump was absolutely gorgeous and beautiful btw! i’m currently 38weeks and a day pregnant and im also planning a homebirth for my baby boy, and its my first baby and watching this encouraged me so much, do you have any tips
Oh I’m so glad you were blessed by it. I don’t doubt you will LOVE a homebirth. Nothing better than climbing into bed with your family and just being home ❤️ Just remember that the intensity of labor doesn’t really change from the moment it starts until transition. Most people think it gets harder and harder as you dilate but I’ve noticed it to be about the same. The only time it gets really intense is during transition and by that time you are almost done. Just remember, when you feel you can’t go on anymore, THAT’S your que that you are about to hold your baby ❤️ Relax relax relax. Tension creates pain. Focus on breathing and keeping a clear headspace. Our bodies were made for this ❤️ you’ve got this girl 🙌🏼
Oh my goodness I am so excited for you!!!! Once you do it you will be addicted 🤣 There is nothing like birthing your baby and then climbing into your bed afterwards while the midwives fuss over the baby as you are going in and out of sleep 🤣 At least with mine being born in the middle of the night that’s what I did LOL. I’ll be praying for a beautiful and safe delivery of your healthy baby ❤️❤️
I would like to Thank God for what he has done in your life and for your family as well. Giving birth is not easy but when you put God first in your life he will be there for you and never leave your side. His unconditional Love is so beautiful and precious. Welcome to the world 🌍 Theadore James. You are so adorable and handsome and your family will always love you and take care of you. Thank you so very much for sharing this amazing moment with us followers. May the good Lord always bless you all the keep you all safe and healthy where ever you go
Beautiful birth! It's common to have a "latent period" right before active pushing starts. I took a little cat nap right before I felt the urge to push. I am not sure if it happens to every woman but it was quite nice because I had a very fast, intense labor!
@GridIronHillFarm yes! That part of labor is definitely a blur! I just remember having a moment of relief during the intensity of transition. I imagine each birth is different though!
9 days late on seeing this ,but you had a very nice birthing set up ! When I had my babies I wasn't as brave . lots of meds , and numb from the waist down hahaha .. You made it look easy to have natural . I'm glad all went well . Do you plan on having any more children ?
Haha, for a brief moment I wanted nothing more than to be numb 😆 Overall it was a wonderful birth. Oh boy, well I’ve said we were done having kids before lol. I do believe this is our last. We certainly aren’t trying for more but, like little Theodore, if we are surprised with another I wouldn’t be upset.
Good Job Momma! What a beautiful gift from Our Papa ( God) he gives us a glimpse of HIS Love For US, and there is NO greater love then a Mother has for her Child( ren) . But HIS LOVE IS SO MUCH GREATER!!! Sometimes when I think of how much I love 💕 my 10 children, it hard to imagine HIS LOVE is Incomparable . Thank you Jesus for this babyboy, and let NO fiery tarts that the enemy has planned against him, be cancelled, and let lil Theodore grow strong and let him tell of Your Great LOVE and GOODNESS, and make him a mighty witness Of Your Good News! Amen! Give Momma sweet rest, and let her see Your Mercy and Grace in these days after, and keep her strong and wealthy for the beautiful busy days too come! Congratulations Family Theodore is Beautiful and this family is Blessed

Awesome 😊 beautiful family ❤
Thank you ❤️
Congratulations....he's precious!
Thank you ❤️
Wonderful video. I had two c-sections and have never seen a birth all the way through or even had a contraction. I have to say that I don’t know how women do it ! ❤ beautiful family.
Thanks ❤️
It’s definitely unlike anything else I’ve experienced. I think the most beautiful moment in life is the second you have that last contraction and baby comes up to your chest. In an instant all your pain is gone and you are overcome with a rush of emotions. It’s unreal 🥹
Boohooing! God bless you and your precious baby 🎉Congratulations 🎉
Thank you 🥰
Such a beautiful video may the Lord bless you and your family

Thank you so much!
oh my gosh! can i just say your birth was just wonderful and the most heartening birth ive ever seen! good job you did so well mama, your bump was absolutely gorgeous and beautiful btw! i’m currently 38weeks and a day pregnant and im also planning a homebirth for my baby boy, and its my first baby and watching this encouraged me so much, do you have any tips
Oh I’m so glad you were blessed by it. I don’t doubt you will LOVE a homebirth. Nothing better than climbing into bed with your family and just being home ❤️
Just remember that the intensity of labor doesn’t really change from the moment it starts until transition. Most people think it gets harder and harder as you dilate but I’ve noticed it to be about the same. The only time it gets really intense is during transition and by that time you are almost done. Just remember, when you feel you can’t go on anymore, THAT’S your que that you are about to hold your baby ❤️
Relax relax relax. Tension creates pain. Focus on breathing and keeping a clear headspace. Our bodies were made for this ❤️ you’ve got this girl 🙌🏼
New subscriber. Congrats!! You did an amazing job!! ❤❤❤❤
Thank you so much 🥰
Absolutely beautiful!

Im so excited 😊
Congratulations 🎉
Oh my goodness I am so excited for you!!!! Once you do it you will be addicted 🤣 There is nothing like birthing your baby and then climbing into your bed afterwards while the midwives fuss over the baby as you are going in and out of sleep 🤣 At least with mine being born in the middle of the night that’s what I did LOL. I’ll be praying for a beautiful and safe delivery of your healthy baby ❤️❤️
Absolutely perfect!
May the good Lord always bless you all the keep you all safe and healthy where ever you go
Amen amen amen!!!! He has never steered me wrong and has always been there for me ❤️
You are such a strong loving woman
Thank you 🥰
Beautiful birth! It's common to have a "latent period" right before active pushing starts. I took a little cat nap right before I felt the urge to push. I am not sure if it happens to every woman but it was quite nice because I had a very fast, intense labor!
That makes sense lol! I don’t recall having that with my others but then again, it was always such a blur 🤣
@GridIronHillFarm yes! That part of labor is definitely a blur! I just remember having a moment of relief during the intensity of transition. I imagine each birth is different though!
god bless you and the whole family
Thank you 🥰
Congratulations WOW 7 children now a little boy 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
We are so excited 🥰
This is so beautiful!!! I cannot find this song you use at the end of the video!?
Let me look for it. I THINK I posted it in someone’s question…
The song is called Thank you by Ben Potter ❤️
Congratulations 🍾
Thank you!❤️
Congratulations 🎈🎊🎉🍾 ❤
Thank you ❤️
9 days late on seeing this ,but you had a very nice birthing set up ! When I had my babies I wasn't as brave . lots of meds , and numb from the waist down hahaha .. You made it look easy to have natural . I'm glad all went well . Do you plan on having any more children ?
Haha, for a brief moment I wanted nothing more than to be numb 😆
Overall it was a wonderful birth.
Oh boy, well I’ve said we were done having kids before lol. I do believe this is our last. We certainly aren’t trying for more but, like little Theodore, if we are surprised with another I wouldn’t be upset.
This made me cry and I love the song! Does anybody know who sings this?
I’ll look for it. I think I shared it with someone else who asked but I’ll find it and share with you.
The song is called Thank you by Ben Potter ❤️
How beautiful ❤️
Thank you ❤️
He is beautifully handsome so happy for you have so many helper for he is a blessing for your family
Thank you 🥰 I think I saw a dimple on his cheek when he smiles. He will kill me with cuteness 🤣
Amen amen!! Thank you SO much!! ❤❤
Thank you so much for sharing and many congratulations
It is definitely terrifying sharing such vulnerability with everyone but it’s just such a beautiful story not to. God is so good ❤️
