They're not younger, they're just versatile and explore different genres. They don't feel the need to put themselves in a box and say "we can only do one thing" they can do a ton and they show it---some may not be for you, but it is for others, and i think thats the point; to explore their talents and attract a wider audience. I don't think there's ever been a group where I've liked every song (western, kpop, or whatever) but any group that sticks to one sound and never explores would just get boring! That said it's still fun to watch your journey with XG. Keep at it.
Hey, OG, XG got songs for everyone, not just the hip hop community, and i like the fact that you are honest. I appreciated your criticism about XG. XG's CEO, Simon, actually watches TH-cam reactions video. Unlike these K-pop fans who think the world revolve around their favorite idol group, XG fans actually don't mind criticism.
New Dance is a song that grows on you the more you listen to it. It's light, happy, and you just can't help but vibe to it. The girls also have the most fun with it at concerts.
I don’t typically subscribe to reaction channels, but I subscribed to yours because of your focus on XG. I like your honest reactions! I was a bit nervous when you said you were going to go through their singles, because there are definitely songs I like more than others, and I worried that if you watched a few in a row that weren’t your style or preference, you might get turned off and stop listening before you get to the songs that you’d probably really vibe with. But it sounds like you recognize that they are a quality group and you hopefully won’t stop reacting to them just because Mascara and New Dance don’t do as well showcasing the skills that drew you to them in the first place. I also like that you recognize that even songs that aren’t your jam could still be bangers for a different demographic. You’re totally right, some of these songs are more geared toward younger listeners, and I absolutely love that you can recognize that teens have different musical taste and not disrespect them for having a different style preference. Very refreshing to hear someone say “I love watching kids have fun with music even though it’s not my thing” rather than just being like “the music kids are on today all SUCKS!” Keep up the good work OG!
In their first phase, XG followed the K-pop format, focusing on creativity and mass appeal, while gradually showcasing their core musicality through the TAPE series. With "Woke Up," they kicked off their second phase, and the pivotal track for this transition is "UNDEFEATED." This pre-"Woke Up" song boldly declares the start of their new journey with overwhelming confidence and conviction. Definitely worth checking out!
Cocona sings and rap during training in the Xtra Xtra doc and when Cocona sings it was pure soul in her early age, she is an old soul. Hinata with black hair is pure beauty.
Versatility is Xg’s embodiment. Always testing and proving themselves from 2022 debut to now. Their repertoire is amassing in size and craft like no one’s’ business
Dre, fun fact. Before Cocona joined XGALX, she won many singing competitions. She has amazing range and tone. As for Hinata, you need to hear her laughter. It’ll melt your heart lol. And yes, Hinata also has an amazing vocal range and tone. She’s just very shy
😂 same... but i have to say that i can somehow understand why many reactors call almost everything a banger... some fandoms are very sensitive and can get toxic real quick.. i know from expirience. I´ve dared too say that a Babymonster song was too much standard Kpop for me .. boy, they ´ve been throwing tantrums within seconds.😂 But my impression of most Alphaz is that they´re passionate but friendly, and don´t get too offended if someone doesn´t like some XG songs
With Hinata she was struggling the most with singing in English out of all the girls so because she's one of the best dancers they decided to let her develop as a sub-vocalist and haveher also do a bunch of ad-libs. It's only this year starting with XG VOX #6 where they did a cover of Losing You by FLO where she's gained more confidence and gotten better as a vocalist where she now can sing whole English songs by herself live on stage, even in a capella. Artists like Keyshia Cole, Taylor Swift, Avril Lavigne and The Cardigans for example.
I'd say Hinata started to feel more confident in English in Shooting Star era! That's the first time she was given an important part of XG's best produced song that started the boom: the first chorus! Her voice is sooo sweet and happy in Shooting Star's first chorus and ngl that's why she's my bias. It started with Hinata's happy chorus!
I like your reactions coz you're honest. Remember that XG is pop but they love R&B and Hiphop but they want to reach everyone around the planet so they try diferente music genres... I love when they rap and when they do R&B it feels different 🔥🔥🔥👽👽👽🐺🐺🐺
Little background before they audition for XG: - Besides Hinata, all of the others 6 are students at AVEX Artist Academy ( Simon scouting Hinata from some dancing competition) - Because of their talents, many Avex Academy students call Cocona and Juria prodigies - Cocona won 2018 kira challe audition in singing category ( 09:37 So yeah Cocona can really sing, they just haven't given it a chance to show it fully) actually there are still many interesting things about them, but most of them I have forgotten or cannot confirm the truth. so this is all I can say
Hinata is my favorite from the singers. Chisa is the “mariah” of the group, Juria is like the ballad queen and Hinata is the sleeper with a dreamy voice.
This song grew so much on me after I watched them performing it on their world tour. It's so much fun! They do some improv, they tease the moves for their next singles... It's amazing!
Yes unlike other groups who have and stick to a certain genre, XG, whilst being a hip-hop & rnb focused group, is releasing HITS after HITS regardless the genre. They just don't make bad music. At this point they could release a Rock track and I know Rock fans would appreciate it. Mind blowing honestly.
Cocona reminds me of T-boz of TLC. Yeah when her voice matures in 3-5 years she's gonna be a real problem. Dope reaction. Yeah they can switch into pop then r&b then hip hop and it don't feel fake. Training since 2017 did that
XG is redefining the music scene as XPOP from Japan, standing apart from traditional JPOP and KPOP groups. Originating from Japan and backed by their parent company, AVEX, XG is a powerhouse of talent. Their incredible skills and unique sound have captured the hearts of fans worldwide.
You need to see the documentary and some behind the scenes. I always praise JURIN every time for keeping these girls inline and not teaching them swag but kind of bringing it out of them.
At their concerts, during the chorus, they make a Soul Train line and bust out old school moves like the cabbage patch, tootsie roll, running man, robot, Roger Rabbit etc. it's whatever the member is feeling that night, and they also hype eachother up like in the video.
Songs like new dance and mascara glow up like wild during live performances maybe the girls are human and interacting with the massive crowds in-person so the song becomes more than just the radio song we listen to at home 😎🙇
XG has currently put out 17 full songs out and if you count their Shooting star remix that they perform on the current first world tour which is more rock and their Left, Right remix which is basically Destiny's Child No, No, No parts 1& 2 combined because it starts off slower but then picks up in the second half. So in just two years these girls have done rock, hip hop, rnb, pop, rap, dance, UK garage and EDM. To put that in perspective, that's more genres than Drake has done in 15 years.
Simon is the mastermind behind these girls. I’m glad he created this amazing group (Documentary video is also available) Next songs are: Undefeated, Hesonoo + X-Gene, and Grl Gvng (for Grl Gvng watch both MV and Dance practice because MV is short, Dance practice is more complete)
It's just a feel good backyard BBQ summer vibe, open up the fire hydrants in 90s NY kinda vibe.. You can definitely tell they are having fun which is awesome... Check out GRL GVNG (Girl Gang) I think this is where the shift to the current XG started. It's from New DNA which is the same album as New Dance. The music video is short and cuts out half the song. I'd recommend the dance practice to get the whole song. They also did an ASL (American Sign Language) version of the whole song which is dope. It's crazy to see how Cocona Swag comes through doing sign language too 😂 that shits just natural.. I think she has Lauryn Hill level swag.
for the girl gvng reaction you should keep in mind that the music video doesnt have the full song. It is missing the rap part. You should checkout the dance practice of it or the asl version. They did it in sign language.
Happy you mentioned early New Edition. Most fans mention 90's and Y2K vibes, but XG has a good helping of latter half 80's R&B too. Just look at the space ship intro to Left Right.......total Soul Train vibes......just missing Don Cornelius giving XG an intro. Even after the masterpiece that is Shooting Star, Left Right is what clinched me hard with the music style id missed for decades. Keep up the authentic, great reactions to XG!
1st of all love the editing in this one! Next I would suggest x-gene/hesonoo, grl gang, puppet show, and iykyk. Also, a lot of kpop groups (including XG) have what's called profiles instead of Wikipedia pages. The website kprofiles tells you when they debuted, their label, their names, pics of them, quick facts, etc!
I'm really digging how your reactions are more about why you are so into them rather than just enjoying what's in front of you. Some reactors can't express what it is that makes them like XG while others are just reacting because it's trending. You are one of the legit reactors deep diving a little more than most. Can't wait for you to react to Maya's Tape #4 to give some clarity if any.
You asked how long XG has been doing this together. The 7 girls spent 5 years training for XgalX which included being picked out of thousands of other girls in training. Before this they all had their talents from an early age having very similar interests in dance with a wide influence of western pop culture mainly from their parents. Believe it or not, XG has only 2 years of performance experience with 2025 starting out as the beginning of their 3rd year. 3 years from now I can see them being mega stars at this rate crafting solos projects while still making hits after hits as a group. Cocona was originally picked for her singing voice and were surprised how she was a natural fit for rap.
You NEED to watch the vox #6 with juria, chisa, and hinata. Everything you said about hinata is correct. And the vox #6 you can REALLY see her starting to break out of her shell and snowing just how amazing of a singer she can be.
Idk if someone commented saying they don’t like when you pause but I think we all can agree we rather you pause than talk during the video because I wanna hear what you have to say but I can’t hear you over the music lol
OG, what I’ve been saying for awhile is thatCocona has soul…. The music is inside her coming out. On dance, like Girl Gang dance practice, or Mov 4 aka MJ Blige song, you really see it. On New Dance in her vocal range and Winter Without You sing rapping… you can tell this girl is going to wow us in the future. And of course you know it from her rap style. But I get how it’s hard to put your finger on it exactly… these girls are technically great at what they do, but can you teach “soul”?
When you get around to it. Please check out One or Eight - "Kawasaki". They released their debut "Don't Tell Nobody," on August 14, 2024. They are an 8 member Japanese group under Avex. Xgalx (XG's Label) is a subsidiary of Avex. So, you may be interested in them.
What you have left MV wise 1. Tippy Toes (debut song) 2. GRL GVNG (the music video cuts out half the song for budget reasons so watch their dance practice to hear the full thing) 2. TGIF 3. Hesonoo/X-Gene (performance video is the music video) 4. Puppet Show 5. Undefeated (music video is animated for the VALORANT video game so watch the Performance Video to see the IMO actual MV with the girls) 6. Something Ain’t Right 7. IYKYK 8. In the Rain and Is this Love (there are no music videos for these yet but they were released on their new album AWE so if you’re interested there’s lyric videos out there) 💯
Cocona actually won singing competitions. That is how she was able to get in to the AVEX academy. AVEX and Simon call her the prodigy. Need to watch the documentary. She shows off her singing AND her rapping. Heck and her dancing...lol. I 100% agree with you though. Once she is let loose and comes into her own AND is fluent in English, she will be unstoppable. In her tape, "Dirt off your shoulder" she says we have only seen half of her and I 100% believe that.
I had the cassette of BOYS TO MEN’s “BLUE MOON”. My daughters listened to it with me every night after driving home which was on a remote Indigenous Reservation but I did enjoy the early 80’s music daily. COCONA is out of this world talent. Both her and MAYA are total ALL ROUNDERS. You’re right our Xtraordinary Girls have evolved and like SIMON said, “He’s taken the girls off on a whole NEW LEVEL”. HINATA is the foundational member…she’s getting more confident in ENGLISH. HINATA can cover T. Swift Amazingly. The VOX LINE blew me away with their live solo’s provided by KAYLAWMOCHI Alphaz. I agree with your oldest daughter ❤. See you on the next one.
If you wanna keep it strictly to the type of discography that suits your tastes, you should definitely check out XG Tapes series. It’s just the rappers flowing over beats from rap tracks that they like.
ALPHAZ 🐺/STAY on deck. There are 2 "New Dance" [8th] MV 2nd "New Dance Multiverse" This 2nd Music Video have more of XG Storyline Alien 👽 Visuals in it than the first "New Dance."
You should react to Chisa’s concert footage of her singing a cover of NEVER ENOUGH and I’LL NEVER LOVE AGAIN… she and Juria singing Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Lady Gaga, Adele, and Beyoncé songs at the XG concerts. You gotta have guts to pull off songs from those artists.
Grl Gvng is probably something more your liking, however you can only listen to the full song from their dance practice. The MV is only 1 minute. TGIF is more like a Mascara vibe. In the Rain, you will like but no video yet. All their songs are good, they are just looking to cater to everyone and not limit their fandom with just one genre so every song they release, you don’t know what it will be.
If you haven’t listened to GRL GVNG (Girl Gang) yet make sure you also watch a live performance or their ASL version. The MV is a shortened version so you’ll miss some of the best parts.
Besides all the MVs listed below, XG also has other songs/covers, as well as rap and dance videos. The Vocal Line have a few titled XG VOX. These are Chisa, Juria, and Hinata doing their thing. VOX #1, #2, etc XG TAPE is the rap line doing their thing. Hurin, Harvey, Maya, and Cocona. Also, the Gal Xypher... Pre Debut release. And the XG Move titles are dance videos. And these girls can dance dance... like dance crew level.
A lot of their earlier songs are things Simon was writing before he even knew who would be in the group but they somehow made it work 😂. I’m not sure about this particular song but I have a feeling we are getting closer and closer to things they are currently working on. Edit cause I’m still watching: But Cocona can definitely sing she has a lower register but her singing voice is so beautiful. In their XTRA XTRA series which is the documentary on their channel about how the group trained for 5 years then was selected, there is a clip of her singing 🎤. Also rapping too which BLEW MY MIND AWAY, let me just say I don’t think we’ve heard her get crazy yet 😂
Very on point with Hinata. She finally comes out of her shell on Losing You. They call her the dad of the group because she sounds like a dad when she speaks. She is the shyest one and has a dorky but addictive laugh.
To me New Dance is not comparable to other XG songs in terms of a one to one sound. The song is a feel good funky dance track that is the kind of song you can hear on a cross country drive, a house party, at the cookout or ice skating rink. XG is close to three years as artists, and across their music, you are probably seeing that they don’t try to confine themselves to just one sound/genre. This song came out last summer. I advise googling their discography just so you can have a reference for when music came out.
Simon (aka JAKOPS) appeared in “WOKE UP”…he’s the first guy you see near the motorcycle in the beginning. Tape #2 official m/v is a must but the auto-gen caption is incorrect. The official solo test tapes for Tape #2 has the lyrics on screen and the girls are LIVE on the mic. ALPHAZ ON DECK! 🐺
The curious fact is that Cocona is the only member of XG who has won a singing contest. Of all of them, I think she is the most complete in general. But I think she still has a lot of growing to do, as Maya, Hinata and Jurin are doing.
A song I see always forgotten is "Show you can". Maya and Coco co-wrote lyrics on this one. It was made as a theme song for a hip hop dance crew. They didn't make an official video to it but there are lyric videos.
OG/Dre. Nothing wrong with going in order of release since you are starting out the XG rabbit hole. You probably wont like every song like you did "Woke up" and "Howling" but you have an eye and ear for talent and you'll get to see them evolve. I don't think they have to many bad songs as they tend to grow on you If you are looking for a vibe here is how I see their songs: Tippy Toes is a must as it is their debut. It is a simple song. To me it has a Dancehall-lite Latin-like groove to it. This was their opening shot warning the industry so the smack talk is worth it. Mascara you heard and didn't like it. I feel the same but some of the remixes have grown on me though. Shooting star is better than Mascara but still not my vibe though I like some of the remixes as well. Left right goes on the playlist and gets bumped in the car. The Ciara x Wang Remix adds a few verses but is true to the original. To me the acoustic version is the real banger, wish they would release this version: th-cam.com/video/aGvTQIFS0hM/w-d-xo.htmlsi=G2KAunHNuHiocxLp Grl gvng (Girl Gang) is another must but you have to find the longer versions (like their dance practice or a lyric video) not the M/V. They come hard on this one. It is a girl power anthem but it also gives me a dancehall vibe. TGIF (Thank God I'm Fly) is another upbeat song with a strong house vibe. I dig the vibe and their style is wild in this one. New dance you heard. I feel the same about it. Hesono & X-gene worth watching for the performance. Shows how precise their dancing chops are taps into the theme that they are not human. Puppet show has a club dance vibe but their vocals and dancing leveled up on this one. Upbeat and worth the watch. Winter Without You is a slow jam R&B song but the one to check after the M/V is the First Take version Undefeated watch the performance video shows off their full capability as artists. Has rap, vocals and dancing. Woke up you heard. Something Ain't Right has a UK Garage vibe to it. Worth the watch. IYKYK (If you know you know) also UK Garage vibe but faster pace. Also worth the watch for its upbeat vibe. Howling you heard. In the rain is a must. Old school R&B vibe. Flawless singing. Is this love is also upbeat dance club bop with a very nostalgic feel to it. Worth the listen. Appreciate your reaction and commentary.
usually not my kind of music, but they made it work. this is a banger. outside their hiphop and r&b stuff the song i played most by them. itˋs so much fun.
If you do check out GRL GVNG you need to watch both music video and lyric video. Music video is cut short and lyric vid has full song. Keep up the good work and appreciate your commentary!
I just love your thoughts and your thoughts are on point for a new listener to them. To hinata she has confidence issues on her english that's why she doesn't have that much lines back then, but now you can see how much she has improved and also gained her confidence. ☺️
De nuevo el que escribe en español! No te dare recomendaciones de proxima cancion a reaccionar. Simplemente te doy las gracias por cada reaccion que nos regalas. ALPHAZ te agradecemos OG!
I hope this helps! Chisa has a strong chin, and her face is described as oval, whereas Juria has a more round face and soft eyes. I hope you will react to the "Hesonoo/X-Gene" performance video. Additionally, the "GRL GVNG" music video was directed by the same director who worked on "Woke Up" and "Howling." The music video is short, so you can combine it with their dance practice, which features the full song
Cocona became my bias because of her vocals in this song, funnily enough (considering that she's best known for her rapping lol). I think we've only scratched the surface for her vocals and I can't wait to hear more of it in future songs. A couple of recommendations: - Been seeing several recommending the HESONOO & X-GENE performance video, and I'm going to second this. They really go off on their rap, vocals, and dance here. - SOMETHING AIN'T RIGHT: You'll get to hear more of Cocona's vocals (and Jurin's!) in this song.
Cocona’s singing voice to me is soulful and agree when we really get to hear it is over! Cocona is my bias of the rappers and Hinata is my singer bias!! Hinata is coming into her voice writing the group and will definitely be shining for sure soon!
she’s the dad and I heard the girls say she is a big emotional and balance crux to the 6 XG. too heartwarming to hear the girls share in any of the appearances
their catalog is perfect for a live concert, with so many different sounds, regardless of age, they are still going to do pop, but it’s not just 16 year olds that like it, not even close on that as far as fans are concerned, it’s your take but that’s the easily the exception also we already know about Cocona and Hinata singing potential so that want surprise anyone, we have actually been waiting on it, new addition is a much younger sound than anyting done by xg
I think in this case cultural context is kind of important. It’s sort of a kpop thing to develop music appropriate for seasons. This would be xg’s summer song, sposed to be a light party bop that just gets people dancing. Def accomplishes that live as the girls never look happier than when dancing to this and making up moves for rest to copy nightly.
I don't usually subscribe to reaction channels because most reaction channel only do it for clout, clicks, subs, and views, but i like your honesty, analysis, and criticism, not just to XG but hopefully other K-pop groups, too. Despite what people say in the comment section, I hope you never stop being honest as you dig deeper into K-pop. In that case, you've earned my respect and got yourself a new subscriber.
So New Dance came out late summer 2023. I'm not sure if it's been brought up yet, but the concept of XG is that they are from another planet (Hesonoo/X-Gene). New Dance is more about discovery.. Experiencing new things. There is another New Dance video, that delves more deeper into that theory (New Dance, Multiverse). So the Alien concept is has been consistant throughout all their videos. With the exception of Mascara and Tippy Toes, those were the more K-Poppy style. And the reason why the Alphaz are so involved with them, is that their whole journey has been documented from the very beginning.
I want down the same rabbit hole when I first listened to XG. I’m 47- grew up, listening to hip-hop and 80s 90s R&B. I didn’t expect to like XG as much as I do. You should check out GRL GVNG next! It’s a short video but it’s awesome! Enjoy the channel man, keep doing what you doing.
Please do Hesonoo + x gene performance video. It is the intro to their New DNA mini album. You will not be disappointed. The way it starts and how it ends will blow you away.

You NEED to listen to "Is this love?". A true banger with old school vibes.
New Dance is a song that grows on you the more you listen to it. It's light, happy, and you just can't help but vibe to it. The girls also have the most fun with it at concerts.

And i appreciate the time you took to write this. Thank you
hinata is def a sleeper! she’s like the silent foundation for the group. her vocal and dancing skills are superb. also, her laugh is adorably dorky 🫠🫠
Actually Coco is the only one that’s ever WON a singing competition out of all the members. Triple threat gotta share the light. She’s a beast.
In their first phase, XG followed the K-pop format, focusing on creativity and mass appeal, while gradually showcasing their core musicality through the TAPE series. I used to be allergic to groups in general, girl groups or boy groups. I still am, but XG is the only exception. Love em ❤
lol @ allergic
The xg videos are like Marvel movies, they have an order and in these you can see the progress of the group.
XG has a giant fanbase that will make your subscriptions go thru the roof.
Dude as a 90s hip hop and R&B child…if you want to be blown away… listen to their cover of losing you..absolutely fucking amazing.
Cocona sings and rap during training in the Xtra Xtra doc and when Cocona sings it was pure soul in her early age, she is an old soul. Hinata with black hair is pure beauty.

I like the honesty. Not many honest reactors out there. I know cuz I watched almost all of'em 😅
Thanks

@@frysteel8146 As Harvey says, let them slick back

Hinata riffs on “Winter Without you” but shines so much in the VOX “Losing You”
Little background before they audition for XG:

- Because of their talents, many Avex Academy students call Cocona and Juria prodigies
- Cocona won 2018 kira challe audition in singing category ( 09:37 So yeah Cocona can really sing, they just haven't given it a chance to show it fully)
actually there are still many interesting things about them, but most of them I have forgotten or cannot confirm the truth. so this is all I can say
XG song suitable at any age
Hinata is my favorite from the singers. Chisa is the “mariah” of the group, Juria is like the ballad queen and Hinata is the sleeper with a dreamy voice.
me too hinata is my favorite!! she has the voice of an angel
Me too! Im Hinata biased. Her voice is sweet and giving happy vibe. Agree with you that Chisa is the mariah and Juria is the ballad ahahaha
XG's music is very diverse so there is something for everyone. This is what makes them unique.
This song grew so much on me after I watched them performing it on their world tour. It's so much fun! They do some improv, they tease the moves for their next singles... It's amazing!
Actually the white space with the flowers is their spaceship, it is part of the spaceship in winter without you with the tree in it
Yes unlike other groups who have and stick to a certain genre, XG, whilst being a hip-hop & rnb focused group, is releasing HITS after HITS regardless the genre.
Training since 2017 did that
Hesonoo & X-gene Will blow your mind. 🤯🤯🤯 The Technicality of Rap flow is Extraordinary. 👍👍👍👍
I agree with you about Cocona and Hinata! I really like your reactions ❤
To put it simply, I think they are genreless all-rounder global artists with top-level dance, rap, and vocal skills.
🤣🤣🤣
4:02 that’s how much we love them. The documentary and appearances on shows extended the connection from XG over to us alphaz
for the girl gvng reaction you should keep in mind that the music video doesnt have the full song.
Thank you
Something Ain’t Right and IYKYK are in the UK Garage genre vibe, which I haven’t seen a lot of comments mention so wanted to put that out there
1st of all love the editing in this one!
Cocona actually won on a singing competition back in the day before she auditioned for the X-GALAXY project.
XG Girl Gang, XG Undefeated. XG Hesonoo & XGene (very short vid)
I think the most well rounded one in XG as far as rapping and vocals go is Maya. She's so talented and totally underrated.
What you have left MV wise
1. Tippy Toes (debut song)
2. GRL GVNG (the music video cuts out half the song for budget reasons so watch their dance practice to hear the full thing)
2. TGIF
3. Hesonoo/X-Gene (performance video is the music video)
4. Puppet Show
5. Undefeated (music video is animated for the VALORANT video game so watch the Performance Video to see the IMO actual MV with the girls)
6. Something Ain’t Right
7. IYKYK
8. In the Rain and Is this Love (there are no music videos for these yet but they were released on their new album AWE so if you’re interested there’s lyric videos out there)
💯
Vox 5 and 6 - Loosing You is one you going to love.
I clicked so fast!! enjoying your frank reactions and observations.
Thank you
Same
Cocona actually won singing competitions.
You are quickly becoming one of my favorite reactors.
Keep doing you bruh bruh.
I appreciate that
I definitely recommend XG Tapes for rap line content! XG is my first girl group to fall for since TLC. Loving the reactions!
Thank you
If you wanna keep it strictly to the type of discography that suits your tastes, you should definitely check out XG Tapes series. It’s just the rappers flowing over beats from rap tracks that they like.
ALPHAZ 🐺/STAY on deck.
There are 2
"New Dance"
[8th] MV
2nd "New Dance Multiverse"
This 2nd Music Video have more of XG Storyline Alien 👽 Visuals in it than the first "New Dance."
The vocalists did a cover of Flo’s “Losing You”
Grl Gvng is probably something more your liking, however you can only listen to the full song from their dance practice.
I think you will love In the Rain. No mv yet but it’s on the album. Very 90s R&B vibe.
They've been preparing for this for almost 8 years now
Brotha… keep going, we here to watch.
Besides all the MVs listed below, XG also has other songs/covers, as well as rap and dance videos.
The Vocal Line have a few titled XG VOX. These are Chisa, Juria, and Hinata doing their thing. VOX #1, #2, etc
XG TAPE is the rap line doing their thing.
Agreed
that one Cocona clip which she raps with Logic's song 😫
I wouldn't compare New Dance to those 2 epic hits of theirs
Can't help but shakin the booty to this song.. XG are 🔥🐺💙✌️🇮🇪
Candy girl was a favourite of mine... Whoa showing my age 😂
I was thinking Candy Girl as soon as you said New Edition. I can hear that for sure!
I love new edition. They still sound the same today live
I don't think they have to many bad songs as they tend to grow on you
If you are looking for a vibe here is how I see their songs:
Tippy Toes is a must as it is their debut.
To me the acoustic version is the real banger, wish they would release this version: th-cam.com/video/aGvTQIFS0hM/w-d-xo.htmlsi=G2KAunHNuHiocxLp
Grl gvng (Girl Gang) is another must but you have to find the longer versions (like their dance practice or a lyric video) not the M/V.
Winter Without You is a slow jam R&B song but the one to check after the M/V is the First Take version
Undefeated watch the performance video shows off their full capability as artists.
Dre, one more from the new album you should hit: In the Rain. It’s pure 90’s R&B
I can't wait until you start XG's rap tapes. Heads up: The subtiles for Tape 1 and Tape 2 are auto-generated are wrong. Don't click on it.
My favorite man; this is the Best!
Appreciate you
First- Coco and Hinata are ma faves. People sleeping on Hinata.
Second- XG undefeated performance video.
Third- 46 here and i am hearing all the old school stuff too.
A couple of recommendations:
- Been seeing several recommending the HESONOO & X-GENE performance video, and I'm going to second this.
Cocona she has some soul in her singing voice.
I agree with your comment. I also give up on reading comments that are too long. It's a pain😓
their catalog is perfect for a live concert, with so many different sounds, regardless of age, they are still going to do pop, but it’s not just 16 year olds that like it, not even close on that as far as fans are concerned, it’s your take but that’s the easily the exception also we already know about Cocona and Hinata singing potential so that want surprise anyone, we have actually been waiting on it, new addition is a much younger sound than anyting done by xg
Show you can is a maya and cocona rap they did for Street Woman Fighter 2 show , they actually have writers credits on it too
I think in this case cultural context is kind of important.
Thank you and will do
If you want more cocona vocals "Something Ain't Right" would be a great one to do next!!
Thanks for listening
Please do Hesonoo + x gene performance video. It is the intro to their New DNA mini album. You will not be disappointed. The way it starts and how it ends will blow you away.
