So the fact that XG can do it at a high level from my point of view is nothing exceptional. The big plus, however, is that they do it all in English. That will give them world status. And thanks to that. They broke deep into the world. I wish the girls well, they are really great. If you take the most popular j-pop k-pop bands, they can all dance, rap, and sing at a very high level. The fact that their companies don't let them rap in their songs is a different debate. They give them roles and they have to stick to them because of their contract. Take my favorite Everglow. They basically have all the rappers. But in the end, only 2/3 of the girls rap in their songs. god i love EG :D

Nope Cocona grew up with her parents shaving her head. She had to grow it out when she joined XG but requested several times to make it crew again. She was denied until this big international launch song. They consider themselves X POP but they can (and have) rapped in all 3 of the languages that they're fluent in (aka Japanese and Korean).
I recommend HOWLING next since you like this sound. Maybe even GRL GVNG. But for a more vocal showcase, do Winter Without You. P.S. You should eventually do all of these anyways 😅

As a fan of both you and XG for years, I'd recommend watching HESONOO & X-GENE (it's 2 songs in 1), Left Right, Puppet Show, Howling, and their ciphers (Tape 2 and Tape 4), but if you're in for more vocals I'd say Winter Without You - The First Take (it's live).
