Its obvious that the Dji seems to be more interesting...but I dont like the way you present the Weebill, you just denigrate all his aspects in a not very honest way, and in "drama way" too actually, (to not to mention other words) : Put brutally the cam on the gim to show is not so fast, or to talk about the handgrip, many times, "to small"(but its the same in the Dji, we are not blind, not more place) ; and you "test" staying sit...what the point ? I never watch a true good review of a gim remaining steated etc etc...I watch some reviews and when its deals with Dji Gimbals some filmakers become very quickly derogative with the others. Its not serious...
Its super hard to find a good honest non bias gimbal review but at the end of the day its there review just go somewhere else and find someone who prefers the weebil

Great video Chris! Thanks! I hope DJI changed the gear track on the adjustment baseplate to metal (from plastic). A few teeth on the one for my RS2 Pro got stripped somehow so there's a bit of a gap, but luckily I can still balance it.

Great video. I'm curious about how you handle lighting in your real estate shots. Do you just rely on natural light and the lights inside the house? Seems like it would be hard to bring in lights and then try to move around them with a gimbal.

What is the Deferent with Pro and Combo
Thanks for the review. I’m about to order for the Dji rs3 but I don’t know if it will balance my Lumix gh5 with Viltrox and sigma 18-35mm?? The Dji rs3 pro is way beyond my budget. Do you think the dji rs3 will work fine with my setup?
I am considering the dji latest gimbal because of the payload but more specifically because of the technology. I am still using the original ronin S but I will update for sure to use the LiDAR feature as it will save you when you have to perform some shots with vintage/cine lenses. Otherwise all gimbals are excellent even if you don’t have a big budget to buy one. The only thing is price is linked to features that are supposed to ease your filmmaking life so it’s up to you to decide if you are okay to do things without these benefits (auto lock vs manual lock, wired control vs Bluetooth control etc). You have to measure the level of arduousness you agree to with me.

@@violettamae9388 I did not say that auto lock is bad. All I said was “don’t buy the rs3 or rs3 pro only if you want the auto lock feature. You can lock each axis on the rs2 manually which is not a big deal. The only reasons why you should consider a gimbal would be linked to weight and “useful” features such as “providing autofocus to cine/manual lens” but not just on feature you can do yourself

@@violettamae9388 auto lock is important if you move a lot around with your gimbal. Instead of having to lock each axis manually each time, you can just press the on/off button and all axes are locked so that your camera stays in place when you are moving

The weebil is a great gimbal. Unfortunately for them, the RS3 is absolutely killing it. I might have to upgrade this year from my 7 year old gimbal.
What do you think about Zhiyun Crane M3 with Sony ZV-E10 and Sony 11mm F.8 lens for real estate videography because of light weight ?

I can't belive I just wasted my time. I watched this whole review just to find out the DJI is nearly $600. In what world in what field is that ever budget? So disingenuous to not outright specify the prices at the start of the video.
Zhiyun Weebill 3 is always on sale; the combo is $395 if you are a new customer. Zhiyun is good for single creator.

I don't acknowledge tools that get in the way of doing the job. "Temperamental". That calibration glitch was brutal.
I still feel like the weebill s was the best choice at the time and compared to todays zhiyuns new gimbals. but compared todays gimbals, I think DJI is the best choice. just a gimbal with simple functions.
Exactly, I wish DJI made a gimbal that is as light and tiny as the Weebill S.
@@Michael-dx8qz oh yeah ! completely agreed. used my a7s3 on a ronin rsc (the cheeper one) and couldnt hold it for 5 mins. with my weebill s I just did a 12 hour shoot and no problems.

You made me love the Weebil, you seem to hate it so much, I felt pity for it. But you are brutal and harsh. It is not a face off if the judge already had a side, this face off started 1:0 for the Ronin so it's not a fair match surely, otherwise it's still factually clear that the Ronin RS3 is better gimbal. Thanks for the content.

not gonna lie, RS3 design for people who like to "mod" (like using it together with steadycam or rigging like tilta float, tilta ring etc) while zhiyun more like a people who like "gimmick"
i admit both are great with pros and cons but me personally always choose RS3 because that battery grip could be removed easily

This is really strange from Zhiyun - it even seems a downgrade from the Weebill 2 or even the S in some ways! A completely different direction to the one they were heading in. I wonder if they've got a new management team or something. Definitely DJI for me next time, thanks Chris!
My only hesitation with the DJI is the smoothness - my DJI RSC 2 gives me this digital glitch/jitter spontaneously...has that ever happened to you? Great video btw!
I had same problem with my rsc2, now I have dii rs3 and this shaky sometimes and loosing horizons with no reason. so for me dii is not good enough for shooting real estate for example. want to try Zhiyun but quiet afraid after experience with ddi
I bought a Zhiyun Smooth Q gimbal in 2017. It stopped working just outside the warranty. Loads of others with this problem. It was the batteries. Zhiyun did nothing. Wouldn't buy anything else from them.

That weebill design looks awkward. I've used the weebill s. Great product. After the Weebill s. They made very strange design choices. Eventually I upgraded to the crane 2s. The arms felt very weak. I recently used the RS3 pro for a wine store shoot. Honestly, I love the build quality, smoothness, and uncomplicated setup and design. That new weebill looks like a 2003 Honda Civic trying to be an innovative weebill s 2.0 but it's just got a bunch of stupid accessories on it.
It has some Interesting concepts and ideas, just not really needed 🤷🏻♂️
Just wanted to sound off on the RS3, it's a great pickup and I just used it on a shoot this weekend! However, if you buy just the Gimbal package, which is the $549 version, it does not come with the briefcase handle or softcase. Just wanted people to know that because that $549 cost goes up if you need the briefcase handle and some sort of case.
I completely understand what are you telling in this video but if you want to get the transmission system you need to get the pro version and it's almost double the price this is why I choose to go with the Weebil 3. I want a small gimbal no something so big like the DJI

Yes, you have to buy the $719.00 combo with the focus motor to get the case and handle. Which is worth the extra money IMO.
Also - I got the ulanzi uurig handle which I think is $10 less than the dji one and includes the suitcase-side handle quick switching hinge. It is great and quality feels solid 👍
