As a Chinese, Zhangjiajie-related video seen more, but never personally. I can't remember how many times I swore to my wife that I must go to Xi 'an. This year I made up my mind to go to Xi' an for a holiday with her. Zhangjiajie is also on our list.
Wow Alina these locations that you are showing us are just amazing. There is so much beauty there in China. Thanks for sharing and stay safe out there!
6:20 I saw a female warrior, the young lady with glasses. While supporting her elders, she kept looking under the glass bridge with a smile on her face. It was amazing!!!
I was there in the Zhangjiajie Park area two weeks ago, with my 86-year-old dad. He might be the oldest guy there then. More than a few people who marvelled at the scenery also marvelled at him walking on the mountaintops, with a cane in his hand. Great experiences. Foreigners were few and far in between, but I did cross paths with Russians, Germans and Africans. In Canada now, but planning to go back there someday and spend more time there.
I agree that it can be a little daunting to travel in China when you can't speak a word of Chinese. But once you have survival Chinese language, and know how to plan ahead to avoid the crowds etc, it's super convenient to get around!
The last 30+ years, at least most Chinese can speak or understand Mandarin Chinese. Back in the 1980s and early 1990s, many different places spoke different dialects and the people in their 40s or even 30s could hardly speak Mandarin, let alone a foreign language, English.
It is very hard for people from Canada to imagine the scale of mass of people in any given time and in any location in China not to mention in popular travel destinations such as this national park. I am so glad that you have made your trip to this incredible scenery location. I am so amazed by the infrastructure that have been built in many of the popular scenery and hard to get to destination. Because of this, people are able to reach to and witness some of the most spectacular sceneries and landscapes that you would not be able to get to them if there is no such infrastructures built.

I went there with a Korean friend before pandemic, it was of the most amazing places I ever been to. Btw, I guess you missed the ancient town which is very beautiful and nice place just to chill and have a walk and there's another beautiful place with beautiful architure over there as well, forgot its name though. I didn’t do the walk along the mountain cliff. I believe my cable car took me by west route which I walked for a while then on escalator after escalator many times till I reached the top near the Tianmen gate. From the gate I walked down the longest stairs of my life till I reached the service area for some refreshment before I took a huge cable car that sits about 16-24 people down to a bus station. Tianmen Mountain is one of top attractions (probably no.1) in Zhang Jia Jie National Park. The cable car trip is the longest I ever took, likewise the escalators (perhaps Chongqing metro station escalators beat it). I will visit Zhang Jia Jie again as I didn’t cover all attractions in my previous visit.
Алинка! какая красота) но я бы не смогла пройтись по этому стеклянному мосту на такой высоте) наверное)))
Спасибо ☺️
