100% You need to do the Warlock Engineer and Grey Seer. In my gaming circles, Skaven are popular with the new and younger hobbyists. Having accessible painting guides from your style is invaluable to them mate.
I hope you make more Skaven. Your Videos made me buy Skaventide. And introduced some to your kind of painting . It is so refreshing to use your Tutorials and get really good results🎉😊
My Skaventide box sitting pretty much unopened, but my Skaven still win! Great videos, so thanks for getting them done. Plan to build/paint my Skaven up soon and really appreciate all the effort you put in to make these videos.
Ah thanks man, glad you’re enjoying them and hope you get your set painted up soon so you can unleash them on the battlefield! Really appreciate the comment
Great-great paint video. Skryre is proud-pleased to be represented nicely. Sadly, I've done very little to my Skaventide. I've done some work to the Rat Ogors, drybrushed fur and skin, painted the blue-green armour and the red cloth, and that's it. I'm still crippled with this trapped nerve, meaning I can't sit for too long to get any meaningful work done. I do hope to play a game this week to submit truthful results to the worldwide campaign. If not, I'll lie-lie like a good Skaven.
I love that you've gone through each of the types of units. For the Grey Seer, I don't know if there is anyway to do an albino scheme. It might be similar to the Rat Odor, but I've never seen anyone efficiently do an albino pink rat.
Thank you for your guides. Really simple and useful. One thing you could do is to list the paints used for each model while showing the final result. Also, can't wait for the other Skaventide guide (even the terrains interest me)
I have been folllowing all your skaventide guides for skaven, as this is my first army, and I would love to have the guides for the Warlock Engineer and Grey Seer.
You know, I hope the other weapons teams get the same treatment has the Jezzails. I’m a bit sad the Ratling Gun and Warpfire Thrower lost their fun “do this for extra damage/range, but roll a 1 and they’ll blow up” rules. So here’s to hoping the left behind teams get their time in the sun ( plus have models on the shop to buy). Also great work has always!
Would love to see all the models done from skaventide that fit into Spearhead. Would also really love to see a few other ideas on the rat ogre if possible!
This single model may be the thing that sells me on the Skaven in general; I wasn't a fan of the look before but there is something about team friendship here...
Great video - would super appreciate more skaventide vids!! But I’m biased as I got the set and looking for inspiration 😋 Trying to determine if I should use contrast or ‘classic’ paints as TBH haven’t done much using classic paint and never done contrasts so thinking I should master classic first? Either way these videos are super useful!
Honestly classic paints take a lot longer to use and I think if you're starting out you should be aiming for finished models to keep you motivated. Contrast paints make it easier and quicker to get results and you can always step up your painting at a later stage if you want to try classic paints. It always depends on what you're aiming for, painting vs playing etc.
I always wanted to do skaven for fantasy but was put off a bit by these being metal. Sigmar is not for me but tempted to do Skaven for Old World and repurpose some if they get a standalone release

Nicely done. Certainly a model that would be daunting for newer hobbyists so its good you showed how easy those minis can be to paint.
Yeah they're way easier than some tutorials make it out to be :D
Another great scheme Andy, well done.
Glad you enjoyed it
Definitely do the engineer and the seer. Theyre awesome looking models.
beautifully painted. it is so simple to follow. i like it
Thank you so much 😀

paint lists but will try when I can! Glad you like the videos!
Awesome video can't wait to see the one on the cannon
Love your videoes, and would love to see you paint the Grey Seer!
A Grey Seer video would be awesome!

you do the best content from skaventide EZ! :D

Great video as always, will be a shame to see Skaventide end, but hopefully that will lead to more Dwarfs or Dogs of War 😊
I know, my Dogs of War are screaming for more paint!
Bought the set today, I am so exited :D
Oh awesome! Enjoy!
I'm loving this, this is making me so excited and impatient to get skaventide and paint the clans! Also can you do the ratling warpblaster please 🙏 🙏
Yes I will be!
These guys are so fun I rember the old metal one from my childhood
Oh awesome!
Thxs Andy nice and easy to follow
Glad to help!
@@MediocreHobbies always have paint my first skaven as plauge love the light wood you have show my how to do👍

Yes they'll be out by themselves soon! Perfect for the old world!
Hi can you make a tutorial for the stormfiends?
That’s a beaut!
Thank you!
Great vid ! but what's happening with your tash mate ?
I don't know?
These would he great for old world
Yes perfect for that!
I just finished my jezzails.
Cool!
Ah a paint that recognizes you’re going to be painting a 100+ models
haha yes we're all about army painting here, not spending hours on one model and leaving the rest unpainted :D
👍
😊
Thank you for not using 50 plus paints to paint 1 model. This is very beginner friendly.
That's exactly the aim! Glad you liked it!
wow
Cheers man
Oh Grey seer
I know it’s not skaventide but doomwheel would be cool
That’s a great idea!
I know it's true but it sounds so counter-intuitive to use super glue for sub-assembly painting because it's "...not a very strong bond..." 🤣🤔
😄 I know!
Great video
Just wanted to let you know I sent you a direct message on patreon
