I’m sorry but rices level is above Thomas parteys and you will see it now he plays for a top 6 side. Partey is quality but he got injured a lot and for many games gave away stupid passes. Rice is more aggressive then partey and physically stronger and also he rarely puts out a stray pass.

Our problem was 100% defensively after Saliba and Tomiyasu went down for the year. Now our defense is so incredibly deep. If by some chance Saliba and Gabriel both go down Toiyasu, Timber, White, Kiwior, and even RICE can fill in at CB. Arteta continues to learn from his mistakes. Every season he has brought in a new tactic that has a huge impact on the team. A year ago it was through the signing of Zinchenko having a fullback invert and play next to the 6 in midfield. Our buildup play was so much better i was in disbelief. Ugh if only Zinchenko was just a bit better defensively he would be a tean cornerstone. Arteta is learning from that, though, and against the best offensive teams we face Zin will sit and someone better defensively will invert from FB. Perhaps Kiwior at LB or perhaps Timber from RB.
You also need to realise that you did this in 1 season.. getting way to carried away.. and before you start with the nonsense you only need to look at Liverpool to realise your previous season guarantees nothing

I didn't mention Jesus being out for 4 months or Eleney and Smith-Rowe and Nelson being out a lot of the season did I? Take Liverpool this season they had injuries and was coming 9th and got their players back and came 5th, and two seasons ago they were coming 6th and got their players back including their player that is like glue to them and plays in the same position as Saliba and they came 3rd. Therefore us losing Saliba and Tommey at the same time at a crucial time of the season is the key factor in Arsenal dropping off and not being consistent ar the end.
