Honestly English clubs have bullied every other league with their financial means. That was never a problem to any English pundit or mentioned in the media. You know what's funny... If someone talked about Tottenham, Liverpool, and UTD being owned by Jews and how they were sucking the clubs dry that would be anti semitic... but arabs are also are also semite 😂
Hate us cos they ain't us
@@Stinkmeaner420 Honestly I'm a little less Peed off at Boehly at this rate, man has done a deal with the Arabs that's straight from a Bond movie, ridiculous spending last season, to now we're getting rid of half our squad, maybe we'll get top 8 now...
Excellent, insightful conversation. Thanks Simon!
Apotropaic = Intended to ward off evil. 😂😂😂😂

Gary neville wasnt bothered about saudi money during the world cup!
Simon is a walking Wikipedia 😮, he has so much knowledge
He's an idiot's idea of an intelligent person. No offence.
But is he right
Can't you see that he's an utter, hypocritical, dollars for donuts, tosser?
Simon in his element here... better not get in his way!
Can we put an embargo on Gary Neville?
I’d love a Simon gary debate,Simon would destroy him.
Apotropaic is a banging word
If the Saudis wanted to pay £50m for Scott mctominay then Neville wouldn't care 🤷🏻♂️
The same guy who wants the Qatari’s to take over utd asap 😂
What's qatar got to do with Saudi?
@@skp8748 whats the difference? the clubs are being bought by them. if he wants to stop saudis 'player' transactions, why didn't he stops Qatar's 'Club' transcations? no player is bigger than the clubs, they said. Football are breeding some fanatics like you should be a concern too.
Middle East oil and influence it’s really that simple
I like Jim but i think other hosts get the best out of Simon
I do like Simon but imagine working with him!
You’d be put in your box every day
Simon Jordan's forte, really insightful stuff
Gary doing his grandstanding speeches while he on 18th hole in Dubai 😂
Dubai isn't Saudi.
Nah man... He's "sHiNiNg a LiGhT" 😂
Why is saudi a issue but you've got players going USA. Why don't you ask boxers they get paid very well. Uk can't afford to pay
Gary needs to get of his high horse tho he will have to be careful as his pockets are full of money from Qatar
Simon Jordan just owned this interview
£100million+ transfer (Declan Rice)
£500,000+ per week (Haaland)
^ that’s ok though 🤡
Haaland not on £500k
Makes me miss Roman even more
A man basically called a terrorist and lambasted by part of the biggest terrorist group on the planet..
Which one's Hinge, and which one is Bracket ?
So people whined when Chelsea spent all that money and put them on such long contracts. Now they are clearing players out to make space for the ones they bought and they’re whining again? The premier league asked for written explanations and Chelsea provided them. Case closed.
for some reason i can listen to simon all bloody day
Simon let’s his emotions get in the way when it comes to Neville and Hearn. They could say the sky is blue and he won’t fully agree
The skies are grey where I am...lol
Just a bit cringe listening to an ex footballer who is actually in life good at nothing but football, talk about what needs to be done…
@@sebastiandalessandro4221 I'm no Neville fan but he's a business owner and TV presenter too, he's obviously not stupid.
Better than a failed football club owner telling us what needs to be done
Honestly English clubs have bullied every other league with their financial means. That was never a problem to any English pundit or mentioned in the media.
For instance West Ham won the conference league and everybody in England praised them. Reality is that their budget is 5 to 10 times the opponents they played. Not mentioned once...
You English fans just can't handle that there is an even bigger player at the table now
Everyone just read the telegraph artical please. They tried it though.
The chuckle brothers😂😂😂
The premier league have been bullying other leagues on spending???????
Bullying?😂😂 you really think clubs are crying in a corner because a premier league club bought their player for millions of euros? They take advantage of it. Saudi isn’t bullying anyone but using an endless pot of government/royal money for reputation/influence and everything else that comes under sportswashing
Does gary intend to run as a labour candidate
I have to give some credit to Sam here, the moment he didn't know what a word or phrase or concept was he immediately interjected and asked for clarification. You see too many interviewers/hosts just stay silent and let the person keep on talking when the listening audience could be just as confused.
"I like Jamie. Not so enamoured with Gary". You lost me there to be honest. The man spat at a young girl for goodness sake. It's amazing what people are allowed to get away with these days in some people's eyes.
What has Gary done to Simon? He hates him badly
Cause Gary is a communist snake and Simon is a businessman.
Simon definitely learns a new big word every night to use the next day at work, no one uses this language in any walk of life because there’s no need for it😀
It just further shows how detached Simon is from everyday people. Not sure why many of the people (that don't understand the vocabulary he uses) laud him with little if any understanding if what he's actually saying! Plenty of 'morons' on this channel! 😂😂😂
Truth and nothing but the truth by the legend Simon Jordan sir!!!🏋♂️
Neville is correct to at least ask the question
Here's a question for Neville......"Would you be happy for the Glazer's to sell Man Utd to Arabs?"
I'll wait.
no hes not lol
@@phildemetriou440o, he wouldn't be. He's said as much.
Not quite the gotcha you think it is.
He would be correct to question what Saudi Arabia was doing if he ever had anything to say about the impact on global football of the insane spending in England.
@@SKDjinn Exactly mate.
I love listening to Simon. But his personal vendettas are becoming tiring to listen to. You don’t like Gary Neville, we get it.
Its true. The league is corrupt. Unless your owner owns 2 or more clubs you get left behind. Chelsea can buy whoever they want and if they flop just move then on to Saudi Chelsea.
Glazers, Kroenke etc should buy an Arab team to move the Maguires, Pepes and Sanchos too.
Players don't just go wherever their owners want to sell them. Players have to want to go to said club in the firstplace. If a player doesn't want to go to Saudi, they won't.
@@JimDuggan-tq2lvThey don't go because they want to go to Saudi. They go for the money. You only live once earn that money but let's not sugar coat it. I doubt any footballer in the world (besides a Saudi) dreamed of playing in Saudi when started thier journey to be a professional footballer.
Simon is far too intelligent and knowledgable for Sam. Embarrassing display by Matterface, considering he is hosting the programme.
The players in their prime will not go there! Players love money, but the fans and football heritage in Europe is worth it's weight and gold.
Players that are hitting 30's and want to cash in will go, who cares?
You will not hear ' I dont know the answer to that' from Simon.
As a Saudi... I'm loving these English tantrums 😂
Ridiculous mate - loving it as well, sat here happily in Newcastle
Ahhhh special friends ❤
@@callumlynn1431 Exactly. As if there should be any morals in sport. Ridiculous. I mean, it's none of our business who the Saudis murder. As long as they keep chucking money at NUFC they can murder who they want eh Callum? Can I get a why aye?
On what grounds can the PL stop transfers to Saudi Arabia?
Bitter people. No issue with premier lesgue weakening rest of European league s. 😂last 15 years
That's how football works, do you want foreign players banned or something?
That's not the issue here. Obviously.
Oil is running out so they are looking at other avenues to make money.

Invidious, preposterous, unequivocal, perpetuity

word of the day is 'apotropaic'. who knew talksport was an educational channel as well 😁
I may not always like or agree with what Simon Jordan says, but he certainly makes very good points and cuts through the uninformed claptrap spouted by so called pundits. He says what he means and means what he says.
Garry not even care about Simon .. your views are nothing to him .. he don't even reply or care
likening carragher n neville to the chuckle brothers is spot on.
The guy who took Qatari money to commentate at the world cup is virtue signalling again
I believe if a Saudi club offered £50m for a Salford player he would reject it on principle. He's not playing to the gallery. He loves the beautiful game.
you sir are naive. Neville is a businessman first. Don't doubt it
Why? If a Saudi club was paying 75m for Ziyech, I could understand the problem😂 ironic that he took 7m off the Qatar media but spent months slagging them off..
I like listening to Simon as he always has an intelligent perspective on any subject, but he's also argumentative and never answers a question with a straight answer. He'll bark and always devalue an opposing opinion, but never actually picks a side. He did it at least 5 times in this vid. He detracts from the question or point with long words he learned from his thesaurus, and belittles people in his usual aggressive manor. But let's not forget he lost his fortune through bad choices, he doesn't know everything
Simon on top form i agree with everything said
It's not like the players going to Saudi are for 100m+ they're decent comparable amounts for players with years to go
Simon has good points but also needs to slow down when he talks.
WHERE THERES MONEY, THEYRES CORRUPTION.
I had to see players leaving Porto, Benfica and Sporting for random Wolves, Fulham and other average without history clubs. Money buys everything, now is time for the 🇸🇦
Yeah it's a dog eat dog world...and they've got bigger teeth than us...
It’s okay when we do it, not when they do it.
The chuckle brothers 😂😂😂😂
Totally agree with Simon on this one. No one suggests the riches of the premier league should be blocked from attracting the best players from less wealthy leagues across the world, no one complains about Messi earning a MILLION a WEEK in Miami.
The funny thing about this whole thing is that Jaime Carragher said it But G Nev got the brunt end of it 🤣
Always good to see Neville get knocked down a peg or two. Well in, Simon.
