I did a build using this motherboard last week, paired it with a ryzen 5 3600 and 2x8 gb 3200 mhz ram, combined with a gtx 1650 super. Also added a 250 gb m.2 bootdrive, 750 gb normal ssd and a 1 tb harddrive. For gaming, recording, streaming and editing at 1080p@60 fps the current setup is great bang for buck (considering the market) Next year ill upgrade to a Ryzen 5800x and a RTX2060 Super (if the market has normalized by than). The motherboard was already flashed to Zen 3, it can still last for years!
Another problem is the CPU core boost feature because the consumption rise a lot at very high clock speeds. On Ryzen 9 3900X I disabled such feature because to have 15% more speed in benchmarks the power consumption in watts rise 50% from 80 watts to 120 watts. The SMD MOSFET package is not designed to put a heatsink on top because the metallic thermal pad is below soldered on the mainboard. I found a video about the mainboard where the MOSFETs reach more than 130celsius, with a heatsink drop to 105 celsius to much temperature for safe operation.

3:19 It's not really similar to the Tomahawk (I'm assuming you mean the B450?) other than using the same brand of MOSFETs, with the same number of phases. Overall the VRM quality of the A520M H should be similar to the B350 Tomahawk, but with a different brand of MOSFETs (the B350 Tomahawk uses MOSFETs with similar spec to the A520 M H, but from Niko Semiconductor rather than ON Semiconductor), and all versions of the Tomahawk have VRM heat-sinks.
it is similar in the way that it is using a 4+3 phase VRM which is a very similar layout to the B450 tomahawk board although the vrm quality or voltage ability is a little higher. I didn't say is was the exact same VRM just it had a similar layout.

not really in the sense of multiplier OC, but you can adjust the FCLK to get a boost. Having said that PBO does a really good job on 3000 series processors so OC might not really give much more out of that chip
The good in this mainboard is the 2 slots memory design and the short distance between DDR4 memory and CPU reaching high speeds XPM configurations above 4800 Mhz. Unfortunately, 4+3 VRM phases are not appropriate at all for the Ryzen 9, despite that, I run a Ryzen 9 3900X for more than 15 months without issues. I put heatsinks to cool down the VRM coils because are the culprit part that generates a lot of heat. The MOSFETs have a very low "RDS-on" running very cool. Is very risky to put heatsinks over the MOSFETs if a short circuit happens there are not designed for that and because of the very low RDS has no sense.

Can I overclock it with Ryzen5 3600 and GTX 1660Ti?
not really in the sense of multiplier OC, but you can adjust the FCLK to get a boost.
Is very risky to put heatsinks over the MOSFETs if a short circuit happens there are not designed for that and because of the very low RDS has no sense.
what speed are you rams?
3200 running at 3600 Mhz @@fares8598
