Great little program I added to my list. Thanks for sharing. Another great program find. Thanks Mike and Lady Kath. I also received my pen today 10/23. Thanks for the gift. Cheers
I’ve been using this application since it’s early release days and it’s been a godsend for removing a lot of Nvidia software bloat and for me the Nvidia application feels a little more responsive 🥰💪😇👍. There are some great debloater software out there for windows, drivers, etc and worth considering if you know what you’re doing!
When I was using a 60hz tv as my display, the tweak that really felt like it made my input faster was disabling HDCP. My mouse felt real time. Not sure how a high refresh mon will feel as it's been a while, I always turn it off even if I'm on 165hz. I always use NvClean now.
@@TakeNoteZ At 1:11 of the video it shows how to disable what you don't need, including HDCP. th-cam.com/video/h455nQ5zUkM/w-d-xo.html . Hope this helps. I don't usually disable driver telemetry because it can lead to some games or anti cheats from loading. I do Disable Ancel as it's what allows Nvidia Gforce experience, since I don't use it. Then I disable HD sleep timer as this can cause issues with DPC interrupt / Latency. I use a seperate audio device not on HDMI. So if you use a TV, or the monitor has speakers, leave that one. Then I enable message interrupts (msi mode)and set the lower drop down to high "th-cam.com/video/544cgS_ZVww/w-d-xo.html". There are other ways to do this but this is simple and done everytime you update the drivers. Then I turn off HDCP... then I leave everything else. For my situation, Disabling HDCP made the most noticeable and immediate difference. My mouse felt real time all of a sudden but that was on a 60hz TV I was using as a monitor. Everything else are tiny improvements, probably not noticable unless you monitor DCP and input latency lol. I'm a nerd...so yes I do.
Best current way of updating drivers. Unfortunately it does need updating so that disabling driver telemetry also works on 24h2, otherwise the installation fails. Some features like RTX HDR can be used without installing the new nvidia app as well in case anyone wants those.
Judging by the comments here peop!e say that this a bit of a must, i usually custom install because i don't want nvidea experience as that is a burty bloater, i will take a look at this program, I would like a recommended Windows 10 de-bloater as that seems to full of unnecessary components/programx
This does work on Windows 11 24H2, I install just the graphics drivers and disable installer telemetry. No problems here. I've just tested it with installing driver 566.03.
@elBartoDR not installer telemetry, the other telemetry that's in the driver. Removing the installer telemetry does nothing. It only removes the ads while installing. If you click on advanced tweaks you'll see what I mean. That's the telemetry you want to disable not installer telemetry
@@djsky2k8 I literary said I just installed the graphics driver. Nothing else. No GeForce experience, no physics, no telemetry, no USB-C driver, nothing. the video is useless if you don't publish a benchmark that shows the difference which is maybe 1%, so it's not worth it also because the Nvidia app no longer works and you can no longer use rtx HDR feature that on an OLED screen is incredible and allows you to have a fantastic HDR because in many games it gives problems
@@mikesunboxing I tell you that I used NV Clean install for a year and that's the end I removed it because the FPS doesn't change that much and I would never want to give up rtx HDR because it's fantastic . @@mikesunboxing and since it changes practically nothing that's the reason why you haven't published the benchmarks I know very well or I use this stuff it's been around for years
@mikesunboxing if you really want to change the performance in games you have to use a software like process lasso and assign the Nvidia and Microsoft svchost services to the slower cores of the second ccd for amd or efficient cores for Intel and force games to run only on the first CCD or the performance cores. and this means that you no longer need to modify the drivers to remove services that you no longer need because you make the most of the multicore of your CPU and the background processes do not go more to touch the cores Where the game runs

that is not true, the clean install removes the old driver, and resets it to microsoft basic display adapter, hence the resolution change

Disabling MPO can increase FPS.
Hi Mike
And when a new drive comes out and the update is done, will I have to start this program again? thanks
yes you do unfortunately
You can use nvcleaner or unpack driver and manual remove folders.

thanks for watching mate
Recommend drivers in the program it’s always the better one for sure ? Or need to try by myself
the drivers are the same, the "added on" features are removed or disabled, but the actual core driver is the same if that is what you are asking
Does it make difference on medium/high end machine? i7 14th RTX 3080 32GB. No HDD only NVME(s).
it will depend from machine to machine but i would except at least single digit percentage improvements if not more
Thanks 😇

Gonna give this a stab later on. Thanks Mike and Kath 🙂
