My frozen embryo transfer step by step | Pregnancy test results |

- After my frozen embryo transfer prep from Day 2 of my cycle, I went into my transfer super hopeful. In this video, I share my frozen embryo transfer procedure at my fertility clinic in Korea, remembering all the details of my embryo transfer step by step. After transferring two Day 5 blastocysts, I vlog the day to day symptoms - outlining the 5 day frozen embryo transfer implantation timeline from 1DPT and on.
I've documented my experience with embryo implantation symptoms post transfer, and also my pregnancy test line progression to keep track of everything. The final results of my embryo transfer are in.... and all I can say is that it's an emotional rollercoaster... but IVF is just that, isn't it? For those of you going through infertility or IVF in your 40s, you are not alone.
About me ❤
My name is Hellynn and I live in the US, but I've traveled to Korea (where I'm from) to undergo multiple rounds of IVF. Being 40+ and trying to bring children into the world is hard, but I also have diminished ovarian reserve (DOR). For those reasons, I am doing back-to-back rounds of IVF.
Navigating this world of infertility is definitely a challenge - a million new acronyms, hormones and protocols to learn - it's A LOT. So I thought I'd just talk about everything I've been learning for the women out there who are going through similar struggles. I'm also here to guide anyone who is interested in traveling to Korea for IVF, since it's more cost efficient with high success rates here.
I am treating this YT channel as my diary, talking about the ups and downs of my journey to motherhood so that one day, my babies will see how they were created... with fierce, enduring strength and love.
I hope you find my videos helpful - thanks for stopping by.

Dear, my friend is 41 , she had only 2 freezed embryos. She took crazy bad rest for 8 days. Let me tell you what she did
1. She was sleeping whole day straight with lag elevated a bit and some times on left side.
2. Not more than 15 minutes she was doing her routine or eating and again going to bed
3 for sitting a chair at least 1.5 feet heighted straight back support for eating
4. Never she folded her legs on bed even if she is sitting on bed
5. She has not even taken bath properly just to avoid twisting and turning for 4 days... Standing in bathroom and pour water, or a chair and pour water. Sometimes her mother in law was helping her to take bath
6. Light meal , millets and fruit but no heavy diet.
8. No testing before 14 day
7. She got pregnant and had twins
8.
9.Dear, your diet is good means your embryos are good, panicking is very strong factor.
9. All the would be mother through IVF needs to be extremely cool and relaxed because these embryos are extremely delicate and anything heavy on mind they can not take.
Lots of love ❤❤❤and prayers from India 🙏🙏🙏
Congratulations to your friend for twins! Thats an amazing story, and thank you for all the tips. The leg elevation especially sounds like a great idea. Youre right, no stress and relaxation inly♥️🙏
You are a warrior and your future baby will know it right down to their core.

I really appreciate you. It has definitely been lots of ups and downs, and it’s crazy how we are all connected as if we’re going through the exact same thing in this journey called infertility. I also hope that we will cry happy tears soon. ❤️
You are so brave.. going through something similar and finding it hard to stay positive ♥️ but you give me hope

Sending you lots of hugs! It's definitely a roller coaster of emotions and so it's incredibly important to be kind to yourself.
My first transfer ended up in a chemical. I was so excited leading up to the transfer and after but once I got the news it was like everything came crashing down.
Keep your chin up future mama ❤. You got this 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
Thank you for the encouragement and hugs! I appreciate you 🙏

Hi there, thank you so much for the uplifting message… I truly hope so. Hugs back ❤️
Sorry to hear about your miscarriage. I had a miscarriage in September of last year when I did my 6th transfer. Then my 7th transfer failed. Then my 8th transfer in January of this year got pregnant again and ended up having a miscarriage. Will be doing my 9th transfer next month so hopefully it sticks and stays this time.
I am so sorry to hear... thank you for sharing. You are so strong and I will be praying for you💗
Any of them PGT-A?
Did you ask your doctr to find out why you having these misscarriages
You are so brave for being so vulnerable when you still don’t have your good news yet. I am praying for you to have your miracle baby. ❤❤❤
Thank you so much. That means the world to me.💗
Sending you lots of love and sticky baby dust, may your little miracle(s) get to you very soon. I am just in the process of getting my egg retrievals done (2nd cycle starts next week) and with low AMH and diminished ovarian reserve know how hard it can be to put out hopes when there’s few eggs/chances at this. Praying for you and for a positive outcome 🙏🏻
Hi there, thank you for your sweet message. I hope that we both get our miracles soon. wishing you the absolute best of luck for your upcoming cycle 🙏
everything will work out this time, praying for you.
I can only imagine what you’re going through. May you find strength and comfort on your journey!

My prayer and thought go out to you Hellyn. Thank you for your courage to share your IVF journey. Never loose hope. I am sure you will make it one day. I have been watching some women went trough multiple failure of IVF but at the end they made it.
Thanks for this. Yes, I will keep the faith🙏♥️
Wishing you the best on the next transfer
Thank you 🙏
Dear Hellyn, I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm very touched by the sweet names you gave your precious embryos 🥹 Wishing you strength for the rest of this journey and thank you for sharing your story. ❤
Aww thank you love. I think I will keep my names for the next transfer too! Thank you for being a part of the journey.❤

Aw.. thank you for the empathy, love. Thank you for giving me strength for the next round. ♥️♥️♥️
Best of luck to you. I’ve got my second egg collection next week. I haven’t decided yet if I want to do PGTA…. it’s so scary. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for you 🤞🏻❤️
It IS very scary… one of the hardest decisions Ive ever made. Praying for you to make the decision that’s right for you. Good luck hon ♥️
My heart goes out to you ❤ My first fresh embryo transfer ended up in a chemical pregnancy (and I only had one viable embryo). I rmb how excited and joyful it was to see my very first positive line when I did the home pregnancy test, and I was heartbroken later when I did my blood work and learned that my HCG level had dropped. Take your time to grief and recover, sending you much love and support Xoxo You can get through this! ❤
Thank you so much for your kind message, and I am so sorry for your loss. Sending you good energy ❤️
Sending you love and support!
Hope you are doing well friend - just thinking about you this morning and praying 🙏🏻 for your journey ❤
Hi Laura! Thank you for the positive energy today. Praying for you too. ❤❤
I can feel u🥺..Don't give up,Keep fighting..there will be a successful story
after this! Amen..🙏💪
I appreciate you. I will keep going… thank you for giving me strength ❤️
Aw, I was really hopeful this first transfer would work for you. I was sorry to hear you had an early loss. It really hurts even if youve only been pregnant for a few days. I've been through that too. Keep your hope alive. You still have good quality embryos and if you transfer 2 again and the quality is similar, apparently that increases the chances of a pregnancy. You've been pregnant twice, so focus on getting in that Zen state...and keep dreaming of the babies you want so much! Big hugs!
Aww thank you so much for your kindness! I still have hope, but I will accept whatever comes my way. Thank you for lifting my spirits!❤
virtual hugs to you!
I'm sorry for your loss and I'm sure you will persevere ❤ you are so strong and beautiful and btw look like 20yo so pls share your skin routine for those of us who jump in the 40ies in a couple of months
Thank you for your kind message! I will share my skincare routine soon. 💖

Ohh Hellynn I'm sorry for your loss, I praying for your next transfer🙏 I am doing also my IVF we started was last month my embryos are PGT-A tested now we are waiting for the result, I really hoping and praying that they are good. I am 38 years old I'm based in the USA, best luck to us, and keep praying and positive 🙏😊
Hi Izzy, thanks for your sweet message. I wish you so much luck on your journey.♥️
Thank you for sharing - praying for you. ❤️🩹
Thank you for sharing this Hellynn. I am so sorry and I am praying for you. I also got the confirmation today that I had a chemical pregnancy and I know the pain you were going through. It was our only embryo, so I am not sure what the future holds. But I know we need to keep positive thoughts 🙏🏼
I am so sorry for your loss Caroline. I am sending you big hugs. Our day will come.. we have to keep the faith. Have you thought about another IVF round?
@@hellynn_j Thank you! I don’t know yet. I recently heard about a clinic called CNY that is way cheaper, I believe around 6k a cycle, so we might try that.
@@carolinemartins568 let me know how it goes! Rooting for you.
I’m on my second cycle of IVF and I’m so nervous. What a roller coaster of emotions. Seriously considering going to Colombia and trying my luck there if the US doesn’t work. Your channel inspired me
I think as impossible as it sounds, our job is to try to be as relaxed as possible through all this so our baby will come to us🥰 yes, IVF abroad is always a good option.♥️wishing you so much luck on your next cycle, let me know how it goes~~~
Had the same experience of feeling extremely anxious and stressed during my recent embryo transfer.
Also lost the tiny early on.
As beautiful is the experience of welcoming such a beautiful tiny baby back in the belly seeing it all on the screen during the transfer; the feeling of loss emotionally quite devastating.
Good luck to you ❤
Im so sorry for your loss.. sending love.💗
My sister in law went through 5 transfers and still no baby, she had too much white cells that keeps on attacking her red cells which causes the miscarriages. I went through one transfer and was blessed with twins who are now 16. Keep trying and don’t give up.
Thank you for the inspiration, that’s amazing that you had twins!
Could you tel me more about the white cells and how did she checked
Can you talk more about the white cells? Never heard about it
Thinking of you, Hellynn❤
Thank you love❤
Thank you for sharing because I’m in same situation wish you luck ❤
Wishing you so much luck❤❤❤
I pray to Allah that you be granted with a healthy baby ...many prayers for you darling ...you are so so brave ❤️
Thank you🙏♥️
Oh Hellynn I’m so sorry for your loss. Praying for your next transfer 🙏
Thank you❤ it's been difficult but now I am hopeful again.
Thanks for sharing, it's very courageous of you.
Thank you for listening 🙏
Iam praying for you! ❤🙏🏻
Thank you so much! ❤️
Hang in there, Helen. I can relate even though I have not had IVFs. I’m also in my 40s and still trying…..
Baby dust to you dear. 💗
MyDear Hellynn, I am praying for you. God will smile on you and remember that what God cannot do does not exit. With God nothing shall be impossible. You are going to have babies. Stay strong. Your channel has ben inspiring to me. 🙏
You are absolutely right, with God nothing is impossible. Thank you for the reminder, it gave me strength today. ❤️
be strong❤
I’m so sorry for your loss. My first transfer didn’t work as well. I know how you feel. Praying for your next transfer to be a successful. It’ll happen. I just did my second transfer on March 6th. It worked but still so early and I’m scared I will lose this one too. Sending prayers
Thank you so much for the hope. It's comforting to hear these stories. I understand the fears... it's neverending! But we should try to relax and be happy for our babies 🙂 congratulations on your pregnancy!
@@hellynn_j you’re welcome. Very true stress is not a good thing when trying to get pregnant. Thank you.
My first transfer was a chemical. My second one didn’t even get anywhere. But my third I transferred two and one resulted in a chemical. Keep trying. Don’t lose your hope! 💙 praying for you 💙
I am so sorry for all your losses… hope you are okay. Thank you for the positive energy.. praying for your success 🙏🙏
I'm so sorry, I've been through two losses myself. One at 7 wks and one chemical pregnancy. I'm glad you are not having to wait for your next transfer. I went on to have two healthy pregnancies and babies who are now adults. I hope that this transfer results in a healthy baby for you.
I guess we have the same history of losses. I pray I will also have two heavy pregnancies like you 🙂❤
bless you, please carry on!
I'm so sorry for your loss. Losing a pregnancy even though it's early is still so painful. I've had two miscarriages, one in week 11 och the other one in week 5. I'm 37 years old now and also have a low AMH and I've felt so stressed and scared about this situation. Following you has helped a lot. You somehow have such a calming effect when you speak. I'm now pregnant again and this time around we've reached week 16 so I'm starting realize that it might actually work this time. I hope with all my heart that your next transfer is a successful one and that you will get to meet your baby soon!
Hello my dear, I am so sorry for all your losses and I completely understand the pain. Thank you for your beautiful message of hope. And congratulations on your pregnancy - third time seems to be the charm for most people! It means so much to me that I am able to connect with you and cheer you on in this journey to motherhood. Sending you lots of love.❤️
Warmest thoughts to you and prayers that it works out. 🙏
Thank you♥️
We were in similar situation, very low AMH; but quality of eggs was still good, it’s just a lot of dosages of gonal-f+menopour, but only retrieve 2-5 max. This is all just a numbers game! Don’t give up, it will work eventually!
Thank you so much for the encouragement. I hope that it happens soon, but at this point, I am leaving it up to God. Were you successful with IVF? ❤️
Thank you for sharing your journey, it’s so hard to see, even if it’s not mine… I was hoping for a positive outcome… I am praying for your next transfer!
I’ve had two missed miscarriages at 9 weeks, but now doing ivf, everything seems much harder… I’ll have my first transfer in two weeks hopefully. Stay strong🤍
Thank you for your kindness❤ and I am so sorry for your losses. I hope your transfer is successful... I heard laughing helps with implantation. Let me know how it goes🍀
@@hellynn_j I praying for our babies and I’m so sorry for your loss and for the loss of your Grandma 🌟🤍 thank you so much for your kind words and support. Hopefully we’ll laugh after our transfers 🫶
@@mbc4823 I love that 👏
Did they tell you the rsn of the misscarriages
@@prachi6802 no, but they were almost 5 years apart, one I was 34 and the other I was 39, it was last year in May, they always blame the egg quality, but I’ve read articles about how sperm quality could also be a factor :)
100% test. At 39, out of 6 blasts sent for testing, 1 was normal.
Don’t put yourself through this heartache. Also if you know the embryos are normal that’s over half and the battle. If the Chromosomally embryo does not implant, you know to look for other things (uterine related).
Also you could be wasting embryos transferring 2 at a time.
For example, if you transfer 2 Chromosomally normally embryos at the same time they have Less of a chance of implanting than if you transferring them both separately.
Thank you for the advice. If I made a lot of embryos I would definitely test, but it takes me so long to make them so I didn’t want to discard any potentially good mosaics, since testing doesn’t give you the full picture of the embryo. It was the hardest decision of my life, but I decided to move forward without testing. My hospital said transferring multiples wouldn’t hurt my chances so I am going with their recommendation. I am still open to testing if I end up having to do more ERs in the future, but trying to focus on one thing at a time ❤
I’m praying for you ❤
Thank you so much 🙏
I was following your ivf journey because i have kind of same profile . Age factor and travelling to india just for ivf due to cost n family support. Was hoping for you to get positive in first attempt because that will give me hope too for my june transfer, i wish success in your next Transfer.❤
Hi, nice to meet you. I noticed that untested transfers usually take a bit of time, but it's a risk I'm willing to take so here we are. I wish you the best of luck in your journey. 💖
Hey Hellynn I’m sure you already know that but just in case do some acupuncture in addition to the transfers and might help. At least it doesn’t hurt 😊
Best wishes to you and sending pregnancy vibes ❤
Thank you. Did acupuncture🙂
You are so brave dear. I have failed two ivf and I felt so defeated each round of failure. Your video gave me the strength not to give up! Praying for your successful journey dear.
Thank you for your sweet message, love. Please do not lose hope.. keep going. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. Wishing you so much luck 🍀 ❤️
I had two failed frozen embryo transfers both non medicated natural. For my third one I did transfer two embryos on a medicated cycle and it worked. Currently 14 weeks so don’t lose faith. Stopping testing helped me process that failures better than testing.
Thank you for sharing. I am so excited for your pregnancy! Thanks for the hope❤️🙏
Praying for you on your next transfer. 🙏💖. Baby dust.
Thank you so much. I’ve let go of the outcome, but I am hopeful. ❤️
Sorry to hear that 😢 I recently (2 weeks ago) had a recurrent miscarriage which my baby heartbeat stopped at 7 weeks. Don't lose hope, we will have our baby one day which it is a promise of God for us to be fruitful and multiply ❤
I am so sorry for your loss. Sending you love. ❤
So sorry for your loss! I literally cried watching this. You are so strong. I'm sorry this might not be the right time to ask but with DOR do you still get your periods?
Prayers for you xx
Thank you❤ and yes, I do. I still have regular cycles.
Hey dear next transfer will bring good news to yo❤ praying for you....❤❤❤
I truly truly hope so! Thank you so much 🙏 ❤️
Thank you for sharing.
Dear Hellynn, I am deeply sorry that you lost your babies 😔 You should have acupuncture before the next transfer. At least 2-3 months, and then doing the Transfer. Your body will be prepared at least 3 months. Maybe this is an option. Dont rush, see if you can find an acupuncturist who is specialized doing acupunture before the Embryo Transfer. I pray for you and send you a lot of Love and Energy❤
Thank you for your kind words. I did try acupuncture.. I think it's great, but as I'm traveling i don't have enough time to wait a few months before the 2nd FET. I go into my next transfer pretty soon! But I appreciate you❤
Im sorry to hear about your loss… hope you get pregnant for your next transfer. I just did my egg retrieval, I was so sick from it. I dont know why I was so bloated and it triggered my endometriosis inflammation. It was so painful. I dont know if I can do another retrieval…. Its a tough journey, I hope you will have a beautiful baby soon.
Aw I'm so sorry you weren't feeling well after ER. My friend also had the same experience and it ended up being OHSS, and was hospitalized. Hope you are feeling better now, wishing you so much baby dust💖
Thanks for sharing. I’m going through this process soon and I’m 42 🫣. I am currently testing my embryos and will aim for my first transfer soon. Ill be prepared emotionally when it happens - good luck in the next transfer🤞🏼🤞🏼

Hey there! I have been watching your IVF diaries and I have to say I love that you help give out so much helpful information. For someone who doesnt have a spouse or any family that are citizens of Korea, would you by chance know if someone would be able to get the same/similar care there? Thank you! 💘
Hello! Thank you for the kind words🙂 do you plan on DI? As a foreigner you can get treatment, but they don't have donors in Korea. They for some reason require marriage certificates for Koreans to be eligible for IVF.. not sure why but it seems like an outdated law. I am not sure if that's the case for foreigners though... let me know if you have other questions!
If you send in an inquiry at bloomkorea.co, the ladies there will do some research on your behalf!
I am doing my IVF transfer here in Korea. This is my second time ☺️
Good luck, sending all the positive vibes your way. You should join our facebook group, some of us there are in korea getting ivf. see pinned comment!
