      hahah I think some of it is also concentration. Bernardo seems so passionate about jiu jitsu that he's probably just trying to learn while he's in pain.

    This is probably the one technique in Jiu-Jitsu I'd describe as evil. I drilled this after seeing this demonstration and I can't put into words how utterly devastating and catastrophic this would be against someone who doesn't respect it and taps instantly. Don't do this to your training partners UNLESS they know about it. For the love of God.

    It also appears that striking distance is widened (between your fist and his head) possible making it safer to go after the lock in an MMA scenario.

    • @AhidChowdhury
      @AhidChowdhury 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Don’t you mean his fist and your head. So you can protect your head better since it’s usually exposed during leglocks?

    You know the thing is it’s really different when you have different sizes of people when you’re trying to get this because sometimes like they’re like so small I can’t get back down. I have to sit up and get it to my face where we would’ve been perfect to go right to that Hill hook, but I was trying to different ways and I was trying to also from lockdown where you can push them over and then go back and go out the back door. It automatically goes there and then just using that same position but backwards, I’ll have to video it

    So at 4:18 you could use the top grip on the heel as there is no height advantage to using the bottom hand grip also at 11:08 look at Bernardo’s face as his heel is lifted higher with only the top hand in order to get the bottom hand under, goes to show it’s devastating with both hand grips
    A cool move an all but this mikey is all out to sell the instructional and good luck to him and I hope he makes bundles, I guess the great thing is grappling evolves and people put their own twists on things but 100% you can ruin the persons knee/foot with the top hand as breaking mechanics are the same
