It’s me 🙌 I need all that organization and more lol. Nonpermissive environment tools, pens, weapons, medical, lighting, hydration, electronics, ammunition.
I cant keep up. Theres too many bags and I love gear. Now I understand why my wife has so many purses. Im a multisport person so theres no end to gear. I am surprised that 'camera" stuff isnt made as well as my outdoor gear but is 3 times the price. Its the price we pay haha. take care.
High weight = high quality materials that last forever. It's as simple as that. Super interesting pack with some great organisation and storing options. Great review!
Nice review on the Alpha 1Niner. BIG UP on the Eric B. & Rakim you got hangin’. Definitely one of my favorite albums from the Golden Era of Hip Hop. RESPECT. ✊🏿
Another great review, George. Love the “big 25L” comment. I’m running a TAD AXIOM 24 this week, and it’s a ‘’micro 24L” failure. I just bought a Alpha Niner after this review. Keep it going ...
Great video. Better than the company”s own video showcasing their product. Still on the hunt for the best edc pack for me. Will add this to the consideration. Looking for USA made. Thinking gr2 34 liter. Search never ends. Lol.
As cool as this pack looks (the black exterior with the blood red interior) I just can’t see myself swapping out any of my current packs for this one. The Velcro concept is cool because of the versatility it provides, but there’s something about it that always bothers me. Not sure what the deal is with that. It’s almost like, if you’re not using it, the pack looks unfinished or something. Dope intro and fantastic review, George. Keep it real!
Preorders came out on Alpha’s site, used your reviews of the evade and the pathfinder to make my decision. I think the highviz lining on pathfinder and the zippers sold me on my first purchase of alphas packs. (I know I will be ordering the evade next! Thanks George!
I haven't tried any of their packs but Alpha One Niner's hip belt is a $20 GAME CHANGER for my Mystery Ranch 2 day assault pack. I do trail work for the National Park Service and I picked the 2DAP for the sturdier material, extra space and MOLLE over the Coulee 25 or Scree 32 and with the the alpha one Niner hip belt it carries like a dream
@@boatboaty4037 they're both important in different ways, the mystery ranch futura yoke system is by far the most comfortable straps I've ever had. I prefer a solid hip belt for carrying heavy loads in my pack but material durability and modular attachment points were even more important to me. I carried an REI Traverse 35 tall for 2 years and it's a super comfy pack, but I seldom used all 37L of storage and was constantly frustrated at the lack of places to attach gear to my pack. I knew about the alpha one Niner hip belt before buying my 2 day assault pack and all I can say is with that hip belt on that pack I feel like I've compromised nothing
I just won a Alpha One Niner Ambit pouch in the same color scheme. I love that thing. This pack is literally a perfect pack for my day to day work life. The only downside I am thinking about is the weight, with a laptop and work stuff packed in. Up side is I don't wear the pack all day. Great video bud, earned a sub here!
Great vid George! How did you find using the larger water bottle in the pouches affects/affected the internal storage, or the storage in those side zip pockets at the beginning? Thanks! Love your work.
Another great review, nicely done and very comprehensive but I’m sticking with my Evade Lite due to the excess weight of the Pathfinder and the lack of rain guard zippers.
Hey George - is this pack heavy? JK! Great review. the cinch straps should be forward of the laptop compartment. You want to be able to cinch down the main compartment and still get full access to the laptop compartment. You can't cinch the laptop compartment anyway because its mostly rigid. I also am not a big fan of the vertical zipper pouch on the front. It looks good but access is so awkward. I love the size (and look) of a normal horizontal pouch/organizer on a vertx edc ready. So functional! Overall, the pathfinder is a great looking professional pack. That is hard to find but a Vertx Edc Ready (I wish they made a larger version of that pack), probably still gets the nod.
"Crime is a disease. I am the cure." Looks like a decent pack. After this past year, i dont think too many people are going to work nor have an extra 255 balls. Thanks for sharing. One.
Xpac material is a sailing fabric on boats. It's waterproof and doesn't stretch but they do the whole pack in waterproof xpac but no waterguard zippers??? Hmmm strange! It doesn't seem right maybe their saving production costs but just raise the price by 5 or 7$ and call it a day, what do u think??
I'm new to the channel just Subscribed I'm glad I found a person who does reviews on packs I carry packs daily work and on the go I'm big bruh 6'4 345 so I'm looking for big man friendly packs I hope to see any vids with that info ✌🏽
Hi. Have you experienced any difficulties when unzipping the zippers at the top corners of the main compartment? Did you see any deterioration of the fabric?
The point you made about the lack of aqua guard zippers for the laptop section is a disappointing and would be enough for me to not consider the pack. Great review and looking forward to the next one. Peace and love
Hello George. Are you aware of any backpack that matches these criteria? 1) easy external access of little stuff like tissues and water bottles 2) shoulder straps with anchor points to hang things such as a cell phone pouch 3) a secret pocket closes to the back panel 4) lightweight Thanks!
@@GeorgeDEFINED Thank you! You won't believe it: the only one I found so far that seems can do all these is also in the red / black colorway, which is a backpack called Transit, being one of the bags of the Redline line by a company called 3V Gear. But that one is 40L, which seems to be too much for daily commuting use. Size-wise, the Kargo you recommended is more reasonable but the Transit has a secret pocket right on the back panel so that there is no way it can be opened or cut without the wearer realizing it. So I am now on the fence now. Really thank you for your help!
George there is a legend of a unicorn in the backpack world called the GWA warfighter the citadel. I don’t even know if you can get one but if you could I think it would make your top 5
Agreed with this. The Gen 3 are just now getting in people’s hands but loving my Black and DNC one’s of the Citadel. Very different pack than the Pathfinder which I also am loving. Keep up the great reviews George!
This a real question: What is that document protector you are using? I need something to protect my papers in my EDC and I have seen you use that one multiple times
That looks like an amazing bag, but you might consider doing more reviews on bags below 100 bucks. NOT the super cheapo ones, but just solid stuff that deserves time to be reviewed. Most of us are blue collar at the end of the day and we dont mess around in the VIP lounges of them yonder fancy airports. BTW, your channel is great. It is unpretentious, as the smart folks call it.
You're a hip hop head aren't you... Iv seen the illmatic vinyl on your wall in a couple other vids.. and this one with paid in full, n Kendrick. I see you.
Do people honestly have issues with their backpacks and the TSA? I fly all the time and never have issues. I lay it flat like that and they’ve never said anything to me once. Am I just having an odd experience?
Great Review ! If it’s a 35 - 40 L , Then it would be a great Traveling Backpack ! To be Honest , I actually like the Max better ! Once again , Both Bag are too Small to be a Traveling Backpack and too Big for a EDC !
The zipper garage at the bottom end is just silly. Some unnecessary features like front flowthrough packet, ditchbuckles, loadlifters for me anyways. I’d love to love this pack but I can’t.
My man is one of the most underrated EDC reviewers out there. Love your videos!
Thanks man!
Yeah I agree. I just subbed.
Completely agree

I love this review, my brother. The people need you in this space.
This man has the best most well thought out intros👍🏾
High weight = high quality materials that last forever. It's as simple as that. Super interesting pack with some great organisation and storing options. Great review!
You’re the best reviewer in the game!
Nice review on the Alpha 1Niner.
BIG UP on the Eric B. & Rakim you got hangin’. Definitely one of my favorite albums from the Golden Era of Hip Hop.

The Evade still my favorite pack of all time.

That RED interior! 👀😱
LOVE that INTRO George!

Just Ordered One from the site hopefully I get mine soon thanks to you. I give you many thanks.
FIRST!! YEAH boyeeeeeee!! That's a pretty epic pack. Have an awesome week buddy
Just subscribed, watched tons of your videos since the last year. Sorry I took so long to jump onboard. Def underrated. Love!
Your energy makes every video awesome.

Using another company's gear on a competition pack? Youre throwing the world bag continuum into a spin. Game over, man!
I will take quality over weight any day! Very nice pack but even better REVIEW brother!!

Thanks for the sub..
George hitting us in 2021 with the 80's Eric B & Rakim album cover, I see you bro!!!
They don't know... 💪🏾
"Paid in Full!"
Just found your channel, and subscribed right away. I love gear bags and pouches. Keep up the fantastic reviews!
the strap keepers sold me ...great pack ...great review George
That is one SICK backpack! I am now torn between that one and a Black Ember Citadel R2... damn ! Thanks for the review, bro. Always top class !
Cobra is one my favorite movies from my childhood...nice work!
Mine too!
Just found your channel. So many great reviews!
George... love your vids. Question; is there a pack similar to this. That can stand up on its own ? And weighs less ... that you could recommend?
Great vid George! How did you find using the larger water bottle in the pouches affects/affected the internal storage, or the storage in those side zip pockets at the beginning?
Thanks! Love your work.
No impact.. the water bottle holders have independent capacity..
Another great review, nicely done and very comprehensive but I’m sticking with my Evade Lite due to the excess weight of the Pathfinder and the lack of rain guard zippers.
Nice video! I liked it after few seconds hehe :D
I didn't like much the pack but loved the video
Great and honest review! Good job!

If it had a dedicated CPL pouch, I'd be all over it. It seems to be a logical evolution on the Evade 1.5. Thanks for letting me know this exists.
This is a dope bag. I'd get a camera insert. Those strap lifters are super appealing.
Cool video - great review. Best wishes from your new german subscriber.
It is nice to see fellow bag enthusiasts
Still killing it with those openings man!
Awesome review as always!
Ok because you made Cobra reference you get a sub. 👊👊👊
YES! IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS!
Pathfinder bag do u think it would be good for carrying school books as well? I need one for both!
I can see this pack being unnoticed in an office. When you add bungees or , God forbid, molle you're no longer under the radar.
Rocking video. What an excellent pack!
"Crime is a disease. I am the cure." Looks like a decent pack. After this past year, i dont think too many people are going to work nor have an extra 255 balls. Thanks for sharing. One.
I hate videos like this! They make me spend my money. Great review for a backpack! Has the essentials you need to know for the pack.
So now I want another Alpha One Niner pack!!
Another great video, thanks George. You said it, competition heavy alright. $255? i'll pass.
I love Alpha one niner
Heaviest XPAC bag ever, especially if compared with volume.
I'm new to the channel just Subscribed I'm glad I found a person who does reviews on packs I carry packs daily work and on the go I'm big bruh 6'4 345 so I'm looking for big man friendly packs I hope to see any vids with that info ✌🏽
I would look at packs that are 30-40 liters.. small packs aren't going to work with your height.
Thank's for that info Bruh I appreciate it
Pack looks sick as hell , awesome review man.Have you tried their pouches ?
Nope I haven't but maybe in the future..
Damn, great video man
I really like my current one... only downsides are small zippers and the seam in the top handle
Hi. Have you experienced any difficulties when unzipping the zippers at the top corners of the main compartment? Did you see any deterioration of the fabric?
Yes the corners can slow you down but no majors problems.. I haven't had the pack long enough to see fabric wear..
The point you made about the lack of aqua guard zippers for the laptop section is a disappointing and would be enough for me to not consider the pack.
Great review and looking forward to the next one.
Peace and love
Too bad was thinking about getting this but It's already sold out for the red lining.

Kargo Gear Senda Pack matches that.. I'm sure there are more but that one comes to mind right away...

Marketing Genius
Been thinking about getting another edc hitting the top end of my budget but otherwise everything im looking for
That bag should be a 30L travel bag. I love the red. I love the organization and harness. It just isn’t an edc bag.
Damn thats an awesome pack! I need to get one of these! thanks for your dope content! God Bless!
I don't like having magnets near hard drives. That's my only issue with the laptop pouch magnet.
4.6 lbs is almost the exact weight of my seekoutside 4800 ci hunting pack with a 1400 ci daypack attatched. Lol crazy
George - The Brown Buffalo drops Arid Tuesday! 3/9/21...any interest in a Conceal review, I hope?
We will see what happens..
Great intro!!!
I do love a good backpack 😊

I have a couple bags coming at the $150 range.
How durable is the x-pac compared to something like 500 d codura?
I don't have a degree in textiles but I find that vx42 is very tough. Very close to if not more than cordura.
You're a hip hop head aren't you... Iv seen the illmatic vinyl on your wall in a couple other vids.. and this one with paid in full, n Kendrick. I see you.
I like it.
U in Maryland also !
Man, that bag looks dope but it’s too small for my needs. If it was 30L, it would be perfect
The evade 2.0 is 30l if you’re interested
Amazing bag, but still doesn’t top my evade 1.5!
sweet tape deck

I still don't know which backpack is the best edc backpack after I watched you videos. for you it's every backpack the best edc and I just think wtf..
Do people honestly have issues with their backpacks and the TSA? I fly all the time and never have issues. I lay it flat like that and they’ve never said anything to me once. Am I just having an odd experience?
That doesn't fly at DCA.."Sir please take your laptop out of your backpack."

👍
It's pronounce - Ma Stro Kiya.!
4+lbs is a no-go.
Ozark trail Shiloh better then that backpack 🎒
Evade 1.5 >
A 25l pack that weighs 2kg?! Naaah dood, naaah!!
i stay away from this brand since i realise this brand related to Paladin, RAIDER Backpack which is definitly a copycat of Goruck GR1
🤔
4 lbs hell no!
