  • MIZUNO NEO VISTA - Full Review
    In this thorough review, we dive into the features and performance of the Mizuno Neo Vista running shoe. This review follows the first impressions video where I was very impressed. Now its been put through the paces and the scores are in....Will the Neo Vista outscore the king of super trainers the Superblast, which scored 41.5/50?

    130 quid in the UK. Fantastic shoe. I've noticed with the bevel on the back it gives me a little bit of plantar. That's just the shoe telling me my lower legs are weak. So cheers for that shoe. Definitely works best at threshold. I've got 200 in my Superblast and id pick neo over that

    I have 2 pairs of the Mizuno Wave Rebellion Pro V1. One which I got half a size up and one TTS. TTS definitely snug but much more stable. Got the Flash V2 and sent it back.. Feels like a cheaper option and bottom heavy. Finally got the Mizuno Wave Rebellion Pro V2.. Did one run (Fast 5k at VO2 max).. Got a PB.. Amazing shoe.. Today my HR was high during my easy run but my legs fresh.. The midsole missing the heel simply saves my Achilles Tendon and low calf muscle. Very interesting as I am a heel striker and slow runner.. 😂. If the Mizuno Neo Vista feels like the Flash V2 I will be very disappointed.. By the way.. Mizuno Wave Rebellion Pro V2 is very wide in the toebox. I could have gone down half a size from TTS possibly..?

      The Neo feels better than Flash 2. Much more smoother and softer. Well done on the PB 🎉

    I think SB and MNV can coexist perfectly on training: MNV (rec/easy/LSD) + SB (steady/tempo/threshold/fast longs)

    I had both this and superblast, i feel this is more bouncy but superblast better at faster pace

    Great review. It’s around £135 in the Uk and still not sure if I need it with 2 pairs of ASICS superblast in hand. Tempted to get it, marathon training started this week.

    I'm looking forward to the Superblast 2. Though I fear the price tag!

      I think it's going to be the same as this one in Australia.

    $320 how can this be justified, it's only got a nylon plate with a rediculous amount of foam...personally it should be 250 max but still wouldn't buy it...don't like the booty look personally...I can imagine it's a good rude but to much else out there at a much better price point to purchase...

      I wish it was cheaper, but saying that it's an amazing shoe.

    How would this compare against the Invincibles v2 or NB1080v13?

    • @run-are
      @run-are  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      This one is more rockered and much more of an efficient shoe. This is a soft shoe but not mushy like the 1080 and not as bulky as the Invincible. This shoe is far better IMO

      Really appreciate the prompt response - in terms of energy return…is it comparable to the Invincibles v2? I’m struggling to find any trainer that comes close to the ZoomX for that model

    how does this compare to the prime x 2 strung?

    • @run-are
      @run-are  หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      They don't feel anything like each other. The Prime X 2 is really bottom heavy and is much firmer and stiffer. The upper on the Prime X is stiff and not that breathable. The Lightstrike Pro will have more responsiveness to it and the rocker in the Prime X is more aggressive. Both great for long runs but I'd much prefer the Neo Vista. Neo Vista is well balanced, smooth and soft, makes for very easy running.

      @@run-are thank you for the reply! Was curious as I really enjoy the lightstrike pro foam in my adios pro 2s
