  • Welcome to Landlord’s Self-Help Centre’s module presented in partnership with the Rental Housing Enforcement Unit. The information offered in this presentation is intended as general information, it is not legal advice. If you need more information, please contact a legal service provider.
Landlord's Self-Help Centre is a specialty community legal clinic and receives core funding from Legal Aid Ontario. The views expressed here are the views of LSHC and the RHEU and do not necessarily reflect those of Legal Aid Ontario.
The Rental Housing Enforcement can assist small landlords in situations when at tenant has changed the locks without the landlord’s consent and has not provided a key; and when a tenant refuses to give access to the rental unit after the require notice to entry has been given. The RHEU will provide an overview of the more common offences and penalties, including recent changes pursuant to Bill 184.
