    Sad part is most landlords DO NOT let you move back in once you give your right of first refusal:( It's Sue me catch me if you can.... it's disgusting the city needs to put a stop to this😢

    Do you have a transcript of this i like to pass this to my landlord who is Harassing me with my level 2 hoarding even though i have cleared paths they say to me they wont put up with it anymore and give me a time limit

    If after getting a N12 notice, so the landlord can move back into their property, I then give notice of early termination, because I find a new place early, is the landlord still required to provide one months compensation?

    How can you not mention, that corporate landlords can NOT serve an N12. This information is critical, if your landlord's property is incorporated, they CANNOT serve an N12.

    We have a rental property ; and tenant agreement is going to end on Dec 15th,2022. Considering personal circumstances, we have decided to move in to the property ; hence we have issued N12 form three months before the end date of the leadse agreement.(September 15th,2022). They were oaky with it. Last week, Tenant came back to us for the compensation ; hence, they gave an option not to deduct for last two months. I wanted to check with my realtor and paralegal, before I confirm on this .. Today, I have responded that I am okay to pay compensation. However, we gave an option . i.e.., In case if they are okay to continue to stay as a tentant, we will cancel N12 and they can proced with their lease on month on month basis after Dec 15,2022. If not, we will be moving in to the property for our own use. Is this a bad faith? I haven't forced anything here. We just send an email comm stating the additional option. Please advise.

    Hi, I have a question tenant paid $500 on May but it is actually paying for the January's rent. Should I put it for rent period of January or May when I fill when I fill out the rent details on page 2 of N4?

    3:30 I feel like "all must sign" is not correct. My understanding is that any roommate may enter into this agreement with landlord with or without the agreement of other roommates.

    QUESTION: If your Landlord offers you a financial incentive to move...ie says they will pay to you a month's rent plus cover moving costs up to $XX's if you move by a certain date, is there a legal means to document this offer and include it with an N11?

      Recent changes to the Residential Tenancies Act, 2006 pursuant to Bill 184 now permit applications for money owing to be filed with the Landlord and Tenant Board post tenancy!     I have a question. I signed a N11 form for owner is selling. And the termination date was set three months from now. Can i move earlier if i found a place or will i still have to pay right up to termination date?

      You are able to move out before the agreement date and you will no longer have to pay rent as you will no longer be living at that address and keep in mind that if you have had paid your first and last months rent you are able to get your last months rent back if you do decide to move out before then

    This is BS.. Some of the tenants know they can play the system and stay in for months without paying.. If someone is convicted once that person repeats he/she should be evicted in seven days..
