The sugar part is insanely true. I remember quitting sugar for about 6 months to get in shape to enlist. About a week away from leaving for boot camp, I got myself a slurpee from 7-eleven. A small one but just 4 sips in and it made my heart race. I was dumbfounded because before getting in shape, I could chug a large without issue. Sugar is dangerous and it’s overshadowed by the fat conversation.
Since I gave up soft drink, I literally can't drink soft drink. I take a sip and it's so sweet it makes me feel ill. Why we give this stuff to children is astounding to me. And I didn't even give up sugar - I'm sure if I can work up the willpower to stop sugar, I won't be able to go back.
Yep very true, I gave up soft drinks and caffeine back in 2020, best thing I ever did. I had more energy, better sleep and felt better overall, I have gone back to doing caffeine in the last 6 months but limit it to 1-2 caffeinated drinks every 2 weeks and the only time I do any soft drink is when I'm mixing it with alcohol, soft drinks give me a horrible headache just not with alcohol
Sugar is the cause of fat, not fat itself
There are some doctors who claimed that sugar feeds cancer cells. It certainly can lead to Diabetes and that can be another killer.
Not disagreeing with your statement and how sugar affected you. Sugar is not bad in small quantities, it’s the overconsumption of sugar and the high amounts of it that are added in processed foods that are dangerous for health. A 7-eleven slurpee has so much sugar in it, of course your heart will race after a few sips of you didn’t consume sugar 6 months prior. Drink a very watered down apple juice instead and your heart will not be on a race track. It’s about balancing the amount of sugar you consume

Kelly is the type of person to demand universal basic income, universal healthcare, welfare and any other handouts that she believes she’s entitled to.
Dear Lord, I feel really sorry for the little girl.
Yes, she seemed so sweet and good-natured. Neither of those useless parents deserve her. It was interesting and actually a little disturbing that she seemed to show no signs of "making strange" with Kerry, or of missing her mother. They have no bond, which is actually a worrisome thing. It could affect her ability to bond with anyone throughout her life, and later on lead to anti-social behaviour. Toddlers and small children never crying or even fussing when separated from a parent, and being equally friendly with every adult, even total strangers, is actually a red flag for attachment disorder, which can be a precursor to serious conduct disorders in children. It may seem cute and loveable when a child to whom you're a stranger runs up and hugs you, but it's not normal. It's sign of emotional disturbance.
@@KathyPrendergast-cu5ciword. You're exactly right. Your child should miss you when you're gone, should cry or at least be apprehensive of strangers if you're around, look to you to make sure be new people and situations are ok/safe, and constantly go to you when learning a new environment. "being a mother is the hardest job" Your husband wakes up for work at 6am, you sleep until 12. Assuming he works 10hrs and you cut out eating time, there's basically 3hrs of "parenting", which is you, sitting on the computer telling your kid to leave you alone
He’s a bus driver, chances are he works over 10 hours a day and potentially gets one day off a fortnight depending on which company he works for and how much he lets the traffic office get away away with scheduling his duties

I actually dated a woman very similar to this. It's basically a combination of narcissim and depression, though it's possible all the depression was actually for manipulation purposes.
Thank you for saying it. My mother is a grade A narc. I got a little better care than this toddler....but she preferred to feed me top ramen than to get a fuckin job. Everything was practically the same , aside from the admission of laziness!
I have severe depression. I got myself a Husky, a very demanding dog breed, and he forced me to crawl out of my depression to care and train him. There are times I can’t clean his area and his tray, but when there’s poo involved I clean it right away, and it snowballs into me cleaning everything up.
Sometimes, SOMETIMES, depression is an excuse to be lazy, and even when you’re depressed you should learn how to overcome it or else you’ll just be stuck in a hole. Getting told “move on even when you’re depressed” is not an “ableist” advice, it’s for their own good.
I think depression can encourage unintentionally narcissistic behavior. You feel so broken and down that you give up on your responsibilities which can make you act in selfish ways. You're irritable which makes you meaner, and you get stop caring about your looks. You need medication and someone to give you a kick in the pants to get your brain and body back working. I've had this experience and things have gotten better. She needs to snap out of it or she'll never improve. She'll end up becoming a female Boogie.
@@hope-cat4894 People need to sgtop enabling the negative behavior that is caused by depression by using depression as an excuse. "Oh I can't shower because of depression so stop forcing me to take a shower" no, that's enabling and their guardians SHOULD force them to take a shower or stop neglecting themselves, their children, or their responsibilities. People definitely need to stop coddling mentally ill people and start treatment
@immunityvi6968 I totally agree with you. I suffered from chronical depression when I was in my 20s and it f*cked up my life until I was well in my 30s. But I had a dog, (she died unfortunately because of the illness propagated by ticks) but I adopted another dog 1 year after her death, then another few years after. I always made a point of being the best for my dogs, and yes they forced me to crawl out of my symptoms. But careful, because depression can be so severe that you could potentially neglect your dog (I'm not talking about you or me but some people won't be able to take care of the dog properly) Having a dog is a great solution to fight depression and loneliness, but it's not easy. I wish you the best.
"Being a mom is the hardest job in the world. All that smoking and ignoring my child really takes its toll."
Yeah poor woman must be exhausted!
3:30 they don’t live like millionaires, they literally just keep their stuff nice
Um, yeah. That's straight up child abuse. I'll just say, don't take on responsibilities you cannot take care of especially children. Children are a serious responsibility. If you have pets, learn how to train them (ex. dogs) and what that breed's needs are. Don't be foolish and neglectful
I agree with you 100%. Unfortunately I know many 18-22 year olds that have kids simply to claim the inability to work. They all live on benefits. They cant take the kids away, cant punish the parents or stop them having more kids, so the crisis continues.
It's child neglect, not child abuse. Despite the best efforts of postmodernists, words still have meanings.
Child abuse, child neglect, and child endangerment all mean different things.
They're aren't _good_
But they're also not all the same. Similiar to how seeing a charred corpse, a gunshot victim, and a hanging, and saying "they've been stabbed" is wrong lol.
@@alexanderrahl7034child neglect is a form of child abuse though, there’s a bunch of things that fall under the category of child abuse.
@@nuggynugs that's the core of my issue. "Child abuse" has been expanded beyond what it ought to be, largely on emotional grounds. In a fashion similiar to the use of bombastic words like "fascist" or "racist".
Abuse is an action, it's something you do or commit.
While neglect is the absence of action.
Truthfully. My previous comment should have been "they're dead" rather than "they've been stabbed".
Because by expanding a word bell beyond its original definition, you just make it a nebulous and general term. Which will eventually necessitate to invention of a new word, to define specific action in the future.
For example, when someone says "Josh is racist" do they mean Josh hates people of other races and thinks they're lesser than him? Or do they mean Josh said the N word once? Or do they mean Josh opposed Black Lives Matter's actions in 2020?
Or do they mean Josh walked in to an indoor trampoline park and said "wow there's a lot of black people here today."?
Likewise, when someone says "Linda is a child abuser" do they mean Linda molested her child? Another person's child? Did she put her cigarettes out on a child? Did she hit her child? Did she lock her child in a closet for several hours in the dark? Did she scream at the child constantly? Did she verbally berate the child and psychologically abuse it? Or did she feed it McDonald's? Have her son wear a dress a couple times when he was a baby? Give her daughter boy and girls toys? Feed her child sugary foods? Didn't feed her child _any_ food that _could_ be considered unhealthy? Sat her child in front of a TV all day while she played world of warcraft? Wouldn't buy her child anything she wanted, ever? Forgot her child's birthday 4 years in a row? Gave her child an IPad to play with at 5 with a youtube app? Gave her child a cell phone at 8?
What did Linda do? Can you tell by just the phrase "Linda is a child abuser"? Because you used to. Once upon a time, it was a lot easier to get an accurate idea of what Josh and Linda were with such labels
@@alexanderrahl7034thanks for going into depth with what you mean, yeah I get what you mean now. Yeah I agree with you, terminology is always changing and now you can’t say certain things and get a whole picture, there’s a whole array of meanings connected with certain terms.

Sometimes I get that feeling that I'm missing out on having a family, despite me only being 21, but seeing these people around my age raising children in deplorable conditions reassures me that sometimes patience and growth in maturity and ambition is better and can be worth it in the long run.
Yeah, you're still young. To me, the best time to have children is between +/- 25yo and 39yo, as a child requires maturity and an ordered life (work, good home, establish the lige style you want). I'm 33yo and childfree. The (readonably) older I get, the more I realize how I'd have given a very different education to a child, if I had had one at 20, 25 or now...
There is a big difference between being 21 and 25-27 even tho it doesn’t seem much of big difference. Don’t lose sight pic your aspiration just continue to grow and mature as person and get your house in order and it’ll come. Childbirth itself and motherhood is a big task mentally. Get any diagnoses and therapy out the way. Best thing you can do for your future children is invest in yourself.

This was an eye opener for me. I've been struggling with depression on top of ADHD which makes cleaning up difficult and my house is a complete pig pen. Now that I see the direction I'm going I think I'll start getting my shit together
Try to do a little bit at a time. Throw some music on and focus on one area or task and set reminders every 10 or so minutes in order to keep you on task, and really bask in how good it feels to have finished that bit and commit that feeling to memory. Good luck ❤
I believe in you👍
I love an interval timer. I do 7 min on 3 min off. You can get plenty of work done in 7 minutes then have 3 minutes to go full adhd, them dong ding ding back to work. Even 3 cycles and I'm surprised at how much work I got done
Please do. My wife is similar, has turned my formerly clean house into a junkyard, and it's destroying an otherwise good marriage.

Yes they’re free . So is the contraceptive pill . No excuse to accidentally get pregnant. I’m just surprised someone could want to have sex with her !
She should not be allowed to have children. That is negligent
To be fairly critical , addicts shouldn't be allowed to have a child .
Who gonna police that though
Idk sometimes a child is what saves an addict. A child and a good, strict, nonenabling man can do wonders for an addict. I was an addict. I was doing my best to change cuz I wanted to feel like I deserved my bf. Then I found out I was pregnant and decided I would not give an innocent child an addict for a mother. I am the child of an addicted single mother. So I've cleaned up my act... but I never would've found the strength to do that if not for the fact that I believe (know) my kids deserve the best mother possible and that my bf deserves a woman that will raise his children well and keep things clean and running smoothly while he's working to support us. I would never tell my children they are what saved me, since that's an unfair burden to place on them, but they absolutely did and along with their father they save me every day of my life from my weaknesses because my love for them (for my family unit as a while, honestly, there's no way I'd be a good mother without their father beside me, being strong and reliable and supporting us, so that my only 'stressors" are housewife and mother duties) is 1000% stronger than my biggest weaknesses. My first baby even had autism and I've had 3 baby boys, about to be 4, since Feb 2020. 4th due in Feb 2024. They keep my mind occupied and give me purpose and pulled me out of a pit I was unable to get myself out of. I know what it's like to be the neglected child of an addicted mother and I'll never ever put my children through the life I went through. I will never let them feel like I don't love them enough to stay home and stay sober and play/interact with them. I'll put everything I've got into making my relationship with their father work despite there being many many things to work through with him, and I'll stay sober because that's what they need from me, it's the least I could do for them, and I'm going to give them everything I possibly can cuz that's what they all deserve.
I'm sure I'm a rare case, but I hate to think how my life would've ended up if I hadn't been able to start a family, it gave me direction and purpose and keeps my mind too be occupied to even consider drügs. Ive with a ring I bought from the hospital where I gave birth to my first son, every single day, as a reminder of the promise to him and my other children to never touch hard drugs again.
I am an addict.
I have been completely clean for almost four years…. After how much times goes by should I be allowed to have a child?
What people who have never been through this don’t know, is that an addict who is in solid recovery is way better of a bet than a person who never had this problem to begin with

"Being a mum is the hardest job in the world"
That crap annoys the crap out of me whenever I hear it as some sort of flex from terrible moms. _Being a mom is as hard as you make it_ . Most moms work hard, but this lady is not working at all, so how exactly is it hard? You know the old saying, "if you're good at something, you don't have to tell people you're good at it"? I propose that if you work hard at something, you don't have to tell people you work hard
I was just about the write a similar comment. This shit infuriates me as well. There are so many deadbeat moms out there and you can often tell by just looking at how their kids turn out. And they know they can get away with this shit. We need an asteroid..........I'm not even joking at this stage anymore.
Yeah I am a mostly stay at home mom who works just 6-8 hours a week as a nurse. Nursing is harder! Hands down. I can see how if you had a child with significant special needs being the mom would be harder for sure. But for just regular old kiddos? Working is way worse. Yesterday I was home and I walked the older one to school, went to the gym, then the little one and I went to the nature center and then took a walk in the snowy woods. Then we came home and had hot chocolate and played legos. Lastly I made homemade pizza while the two kids played together. It was freaking delightful. Working is SO much more stressful. The two aren’t even comparable.
Being a parent is the hardest job in the world only if you love your kids.
I can’t tell you how many times I have had someone think they are a victim of sorts and tell me they want what I have but when I say, “well, I didn’t get what I have by doing what you are doing”, refuse to believe their behaviors/actions have anything to do w it 🤦🏼♀️
@16:05 There is a passage in that text that states"Jones was widely condemned following the programme after admitting she fed her THEN DAUGHTER. . . " JUSTICE for Georgina. She was removed from this nasty disgrace of a mother for somewhere that would actually take care of her.

This Kelly reminds me of a couple I rented a room from years ago. Neither of them worked they smoked weed all day while I worked full time, came home, tried to relax and chill alone in my room (essentially my house, as in I’m renting a ROOM in their apartment, so that room is like my HOUSE, and they are my neighbours essentially) but they always said ‘don’t be anti social etc’ lol always expected me to hang out in the living room with them. Well I prefer to relax alone after working around people all day, lol anyways, one day I came home and they asked if I could wash the dishes. So being polite, I said sure. There was not a lot, maybe a sink full, so whatever. One night I came home from work, they asked if I could wash the dishes after she made supper. I agreed, and after supper went into the kitchen and…..my god…..the apartment counter, both sides- FULLY COVERED in dishes- the kitchen table COVERED in dishes. I don’t mean one layer, I mean STACKS AND PILED- Well, I already gave my word that I would do them after supper. So I did. Took me four hours to clean that kitchen up. I said to the girl ‘why can’t you guys do these you’re home all day.’ ‘’Well I look after the baby all day’’ ‘well put her in the high chair then!’ ‘’I can’t don’t that(or something to that effect)’’ 🙄 anyways moved in with my gf shortly after. That. Lol

Also, I can't believe they made a whole show out of this situation instead of immediately calling child protective services and take away that kid from those people. It's disgusting.

Thank you for the pictures you show during your comment, they help me calm down from the frustration about these people!
I’m from the UK. The welfare system is broken is very broken, people like Kelly are rewarded for doing nothing. Yes some people get caught for fraud but it’s very rare. She would have likely kept the house or had been sized down because she has children. Growing up in a council estate I know people who get paid out £1500 a month from the government claiming they’re badly disabled when there’s nothing wrong with them at all.
I feel really sorry for genuine disabled people who often don’t get much because they don’t often get much support and they struggle to go to a benefits office and/or others don’t have a good mental capacity to fill out a letter.
The benefits system in the UK is really crap. You have thousands of immigrants welcomed in to the country, put in council housing and get more pay than some people who work. Plus the British citizens aren’t much better, a lot of them lie to get more money and checks are very few.
Welfare should come at the cost of forfeiting your reproductive rights and voting rights. That would make a big impact.
@@ANPC-pi9vu I don’t agree with that. I don’t think anyone Should be dictating whether you can have kids or not and whether you can vote. Some people are genuinely in need of the benefit/welfare system and those out of work being made redundant need it temporarily.
No attack but I think that view is an extremely authoritarian view to have
Even when someone is dobbed in, it takes 6-12 weeks for an investigation, which they announce. Meaning they can ham up whatever disability they have, or, in an instance I know, claiming child support for children they've surrendered, can have them back for the day (as they have the right), for the appointment.
Broken is an understatement.
USA has the same failed system. Most of the people rewarded the benefits are the ones that riot and loot.
