Looks great for lighter kayaks like you said. I would suggest somehow you fasten the tires in the milk? Crate so if you dump the Kayak And don’t lose the tires
Small boats sure can be easy to manipulate. You can lift them with no problem and explore places a larger hull could not. They take less water but also less gear/passengers/etc. But there is a place for them and I bet you are glad you have your small kayak as I am glad I have a small jon boat.
Kayak/canoe carts worth their weight for any length of travel. Crap, I've even put garden soil in canoe to move it to the back yard.. 😂 Steve, have you or seen anyone having a dinghy for their kayak? I've like to tow additiona fishing supplies behind me and leave or tie off until additional supplies needed. Suppose I could wrap an ice fishing sled with pool noodles for a cheap dinghy. I'm not sure how a square front would track. If having a somewhat / sort of base camp on the water makes sense.
I know exactly what you are talking about. Years ago, I saw a tow behind float advertised. I can't find it now... the only thing that pops up is this - amzn.to/3N4NbBY
I angle the kayak away from the cart. Then, lift up and pivot back to drop in onto the cart vertically. You are right, if you try and pull it directly up and over the cart, it will invariably move the cart.
i have a CTug and it's by far the best cart outthere worth every penny
I just saw that online while I was window shopping. Thanks for showing it up close in action!
Thank you! This vid showed me how to properly attach the strap

I have a net that goes over the top.

Some people recommend r-clips to replace the oem clips that tend to fall off. Impressed with the load capacity of your cart, mine is only a 100lbs.
Great idea! Thanks
Well that's slick. Thanks for showing it.
Thanks for this review. Very helpful.

How do you get the cart to not roll when put kayak on it?

Why won’t it work on sand
The tires are not wide enough
My c-tug is junk, by far the worst out there.
Sorry to hear that.
