For gaming you won’t get any real difference between a celeron with 128k cache and a Pentium 2 in games. Cache just helps with word processing and productivity. Between the two people preferred to overclock the Celerons.

I've looked at a lot of slot 1 celerons and aftermarket slot 1 CPU coolers and couldn't find an answer. It seems like it's doing fine without it.
