- All regenerations of Doctor Who in the Lego Dimensions game (PS4), including inside each Doctor's TARDIS. The 12th Doctor also shows some funny idle animations!
EDIT Some notes on the 8th Doctor's second regeneration:
For those that think "Ohh, you didn't do the War Doctor", guess what? I DID, you just didn't watch the whole video! Why? Because the Doctors are a linear progression, the War Doctor is an offshoot of the 8th Doctor, and even with Doctor Who logic, doesn't really fit in to his timeline.
Also, can I just say how I much I hate the 'War Doctor' name? Yes, I know it's now canon due to the BBC, but seriously? The Warrior would have been better - the Doctor even says it himself in that episode: "Doctor no more, make me a Warrior".
I love the fact that the theme changes based on the incarnation.
I also like how the TARDIS changes too.

- The War Doctor is at the end. He was not skipped.
- The game was released a full two years before Jodie Whittaker was cast as the Thirteenth Doctor.
- Yes, we know the First Doctor didn't have a sonic screwdriver. I've only seen like 40 comments proclaiming this. Hell, the Second Doctor didn't have it for too long, either. It was only introduced in Fury From the Deep.
But the First Doctor did have a sonic ring, the same ring which fell off the Second Doctor's finger shortly after he regenerated in Power of the Daleks.
By that logic, you could also complain that the Sixth Doctor didn't have, or at least use, the sonic screwdriver, either. They chucked it out around 1983 because whole plots began to revolve around it.

They did miss the war doctor’s tardis and the option to destroy it.
First Doctor didn't have a 'Sonic' Ring, it was called the Power Ring and had very limited capabilities, only able to add a small burst of power to make things function where there was no power supply, like opening an automatic door.

Who else wishes lego would just give Doctor Who it's own lego videogame, imagine if as each doctor you play their most iconic episode(s), and the episode they regenerate in, and you can unlock other episodes with studs.

If we got a Lego Doctor Who game, it'd probably follow whatever Doctor was currently at the helm (so David Tennant if one was made now). The other doctors would likely only be unlockable extra characters for free play (licensing already existing voice lines is a lot cheaper than hiring voice actors outright, after all). Like how in this game, you only play as the 12th Doctor in the actual "story" of the Doctor Who segment, but the rest are there for free play.
@@PlayerZeroStart or they'd just use fake voices like they'd have to for the oldest doctors. But honestly a lot of the doctors are happy to come back for audio work just because they love the series. It'd be cool to get a couple stories from each doctor like how they did for the Skywalker saga, which, they could just reuse lines from episodes if they're recreating them anyways.
Then the 5th would probably get kinda, Earthshock and caves of androzani.
@@MrVIPGuest even if the actors are willing to come back, they still have to pay them. I doubt Lego would pay 13+ different voice actors for each regeneration of the doctor.

I love how when he played as 11, and went in the TARDIS, I am the Doctor started playing rather than the main theme. Same with 12, I loved how when you went in the TARDIS as 12, A good man would play.
Strange how when he entered as 8, doomsday started playing even though its from 10th era.

9 also had The Doctor's Theme in the background when he was in the TARDIS, which is the theme for every modern Doctor but also the theme for 9 alone.

This'll be as close as we get to a proper Doctor Who game for a while I expect... such a shame. There needs to be some sort of open-world GTA style Doctor Who game where you can travel to different planets to do missions and you can choose whatever Doctor and TARDIS you want for the job.
Sounds like an awesome idea.
Imagine it being like GTA V, you hold a button and it pulls out to a selection menu, you pick a Doctor and the camera swoops to wherever that Doctor is in time and space and you gain control @.@

@@keelanbarron928 In the third Doctor's TARDIS, officially. The big thing on the back wall that looks like a huge reel-to-reel tape recorder? That's the Master's TARDIS from an episode in that era. IIRC, the Doctor's TARDIS was also inside the Master's at the same time, (Season 9, The Time Monster part 4, 1972)

it's a shame we never got the TV movie theme in this, and others have pointed out 10's hair doesn't quite fit, but aside from those this was the first expansion i got for lego dimensions (alongside eris, to the point she's one of the two ingame "companions" i use) and i have not regretted a single second of it
It's not shown in the video, but the 4th Doctor actually has his alternative wooden Tardis interior in the game too

Fun fact: reversing the polarity of the neutron flow does absolutely nothing. It takes hundreds of years for it to finish, and is impossible to do it manually.
I guess that’s why it’s such a big thing to brag about.

can you travel using the tardis and do missions with the doctors? ive never played lego dimensions so im curious, love doctor who, i played the 2 games bbc had "adventure games and eternity clock" but this looks pretty cool just wondering how it works and how much content there is do explore and do
The tardis can be used two ways; first just jump in and travel around like any other vehicle in the game, and secondly you can dock it at special points and travel to different times with it. The second use is primarily for puzzle solving, like going back in time to help a tree grow so you can climb it in the present. Outside of the specific Doctor Who level pack or world, it's really only another vehicle though.
- The TARDIS functions like any other vehicle, but it can also use special pads to travel to new areas. In the pack's bonus level and the hub world, the navigation console (the blue spot in the TARDIS) can be used for the same purpose.
- Missions in the hub world are given by pretty much everyone but the doctor
- Don't remember the numbers about the hub world's contents but it's an entire hub world, plus a bonus level if you get the Doctor and not the Cyberman
If you didn’t know,the eight doctor turned into the war doctor,hopefully this helps
when the game has better regeneration effects than the show did last regeneration.

If we can make something as big as no mans sky with a ship surely we can make a just as big doctor who game with a tardis. Even just having some of the most Classic planets from doctor who and earth and time travel would be super cool.

No. The 2nd Doctor started out with a sonic that had a white light, then the 3rd Doctor had several interesting designs, and the 4th - 5th was the same. 6 also used a purple sonic lance.
